The best part of working with Josh and his team is the great and consistent communication. Our project to replace a 2nd story sliding glass door met a slight issue with damage beyond what could be originally assessed. Josh, Homero and the team were able to fix and continue their work. They even finished before the original timeline with the extra damage to fix! While this was the higher of the original quotes we received, the product and service we received was worth every penny. The team addressed our family's concern of keeping the carpet clean and they did an amazing job cleaning up. Sustainable Home Construction's work is one I'm excited to show off to family and friends.

We also went with a company that would not shy away from new construction windows since we knew we had termite damage around one of the windows. They did a great job and the extra cost for new construction was well worth it. The window company they use is located in Anaheim and has a showroom and is very comparable with Milgard and Anlin windows. Communication with Josh was super easy and fast through text and I'd highly recommend him.

Michael Crooks was very responsive as a company rep and everything he quoted was delivered just as he said. The quality of the shower is excellent and we love the Koehler fixtures. We chose black on white to assist those with visual deficits and really like how they turned out! The fold down seat is also a plus for those with endurance challenges! The demolition andinstallation team of Jose, Gabriel and Jairo could not have done a better job! They were timely, efficient and professional. They demolished the shower and tub one day and took away all the debris. Then, the next day, they built the frame and installed the new walk in shower exactly as we requested. They were pleasant to have on our property and we're considerate in where they set up their workstation and parked their trucks. We did have a challenge posed by the installation day with company coming to visit us... And they worked out a mutually agreed upon date that met our needs. I highly recommend this company.. ask for this team of installers! You won't regret it!!

Montecito Heights

(This review includes a response to the business owner's reply)…read more I had a deeply disappointing experience with Paul's Windows, and I want to share it so that other homeowners know what to expect before working with this company. I reached out for a small bedroom window replacement and had one key requirement: that the new window, once installed, provide a minimum clear opening height of 13 inches. The sales associate, Art, confirmed via text that the manufacturer (Crystal Pacific) said it would: 13.1875", in fact. That was fine by me. But when I asked for that specification to be confirmed in the contract, in writing, Art refused. Let me be clear: I wasn't asking for a personal warranty on the product. I simply wanted confirmation that the installed window, as ordered and managed by Paul's Windows, would meet the functional requirement I had clearly communicated. Art repeatedly deflected, referring to "what the manufacturer said," but was unwilling to take responsibility for the result. When I asked for accountability, he became dismissive and eventually walked away from the job. I contacted Paul directly, hoping for a more professional response. Instead, I received a generic brush-off and a claim that the window wouldn't meet the specs, which contradicts what their own sales associate had already confirmed. Worse, Paul didn't acknowledge or engage with any of the valid concerns I raised around basic customer service, transparency, or professional responsibility. Ultimately, I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was hiring a company to manage a job and deliver a specific result. If something went wrong, say, the manufacturer provided a window that didn't meet the spec, it would be on the contractor to resolve it, not on me to go chase down the supplier. That's what any responsible company would do. But Paul's Windows made it clear they don't see it that way. If you're okay with vague communication, contractors who won't stand behind their own work, and potentially being left to deal with problems on your own, maybe this company is fine. But if you want clarity, professionalism, and accountability in writing, then look elsewhere. § Paul's response below is a classic damage control move -- polite on the surface, but full of deflection and quiet rewriting of events. To clarify: the window in question would have met the required 13" clear opening. That wasn't in dispute. Art, their sales associate, confirmed that in writing and was fully prepared to proceed with the job -- until I asked for a simple written accountability. That's the moment everything fell apart. Paul's follow-up misrepresents the timeline and sidesteps the core issue -- not whether the window would fit, but whether the company was willing to stand behind the result they were being paid to deliver.

After signing the contract the windows were ordered and arrived in about 3 weeks. The installation team worked quickly and Art was there to see it complete. Retrofitted the windows to fit in my existing frames to avoid having to work on the wall. Added the grids to match the style of the old windows since I have a condo and HOA would probably have an issue if not everyone's windows matched since it's a shared building.

Great quality windows at an affordable value…read more Our single pane windows from the 1980s were old, worn out, and some were never even opened since we moved in. Which is a real shame considering that we live so close to the beach, we couldn't really enjoy the ocean breeze. PVW came in and replaced our windows with new, high quality windows and sliders! Process was smooth and efficient from quotation to install. Crew was respectful, clean, organized, and knew what they were doing to ensure windows were installed quickly and professionally. For our specific residence, install took 2 working days. Look no place else if you want quality windows and work at the right price. Do you care about attention to detail? They do too. We couldn't be more happy! We now have all the ocean breeze that we can ever want. Thank you PVW!

I wanted…read moreto replace them all but didn't want to have issues like my sister where the installer blamed the manufacturer for an issue and the manufacturer blamed the installer and neither took responsibility to repair it. So I went looking for local company that was both manufacturer and installer of replacement windows. Pacific Vinyl Windows met the criteria. It's a local family run company in Whittier that manufactures their own windows. They stood above the others I had found in the area. They had the windows I wanted at a fair price. They installed 7 windows and 2 sliding glass doors in my home. They replaced a large window in the bedroom with a sliding glass door, an upgrade I wanted for a very long time and I didn't have to get another contractor to get it done (huge positive). They were also very helpful in suggesting a different design that worked much better. My large sliding glass door was 3 panels with middle panel slider, and Rick suggested making it 2 large panels instead with opening on one side. This worked out to a much improved design and flow, gave more room for my dining area. They manufactured the windows on time and installation went as planned. Importantly they didn't cause a mess in the home, put down floor drop cloths and cleaned up everything after. I'm very satisfied with their windows and installation. I've had the new windows for a few months now and they all work well without any issues. These windows have made a big difference in heating and cooling my home and I anticipate a big savings in my utilities (specially in the summer). I highly recommend Pacific Vinyl Windows to my neighbors and have already referred some friends.
