Terrible customer service. Not a single employee was helpful or friendly. Wasn't greeted upon entry into this small store with 3 employees on the floor. I prefer Belgiumesca's. Located at the Quarry this is a high-end Boutique that is actually just a mall chain which charges a lot and tries to appear like a boutique. Barbie is not very impressed and we were coming here to see if they had one particular item that seems to be sold out all over and they didn't. They were friendly enough, and it's a really cool Mall and they have a lot of good stock if you like this kind of thing - but it doesn't really suit Barbie. read more

I always love going into this boutique. I would consider it a chain store since I have seen locations in California as well. They sell jewelry, purses, clothes, some shoes and other small knick knacks and accessories. I don't always find something I like enough to buy, but I do love looking around. They carry a variety of clothing, and they change their stock often. I usually like to buy dresses from here, but you can find nice tops and sometimes jeans as well. Best of all it's affordable, not overpriced like most boutiques. I would say the average price of their clothes is from $38 to $44. Also the girls that work here are nice and attentive without being overbearing. Definitely something different to look at :) read more

Whenever I'm in the Quarry area, I love to stop in this little shop. Though my primary focus is usually their gorgeous dresses, they have a lot of accessories and home décor trinket-type items as well. The store itself, much like the clothes they carry, is beautiful and well-styled: the window displays/mannequin clothes change frequently to reflect what is new or in stock, items are well organized and easy to find, and the dressing rooms are spacious and well-placed. Went to this store because it somehow had the shorts I was looking for in my size, despite being smaller than the store I usually go to. My usual store called them, and they set the shorts aside for me on a 24 hour hold. The staff were helpful in pointing me toward other options, bringing away items that didn't fit, and checking if I needed help. They didn't even get annoyed when I dropped and broke a decorative "want it!" sign. Though, I would like to say that a sign hanging on the books you use in the dressing room was not a great idea. I've been shopping at this location for over 12 years. If you asked me any day prior to my experience today, I would've rated Francesca's 3 stars at best....ZERO stars for customer service and Three stars for products and selection. Over the years the only thing that kept me coming back was the cute clothes and accessories. This pretty much goes for any Francesca's, great products, bad customer service. The customer service--Terrible. There would always be a group of snobby twenty something girls standing behind the register gabbing with each other--never bothering to greet you, let alone smile. My experience today changed everything. I was instantly greeted by the manager, William, who asked if I was shopping for a specific occasion. I told him, yes, that I was shopping for a wedding but couldn't wear Navy (bridesmaid dress color) or white (for obvious reasons). He instantly suggested a gorgeous emerald dress and also directed me to their "party dress" section. The selection was amazing, I selected about 15 different dresses and was setup with a fitting room by Adrianna. She went above and beyond to check on me, get new sizes, and even recommended a few dresses that she thought were my style that were in the back/ that I had overlooked. I ended up leaving with two dresses and a cute card. (They've also really upped their gifting game!) Overall, William and Adrianna provided me with smiles, and exceptional customer service. They were helpful and went the extra mile to give me that true boutique experience that I'm sure Francesca's originally started with but had lost over the years. read more

For a chain, Francesca's manages to feel more like an independent boutique. Recently, I was looking for the finishing touches to an outfit, but couldn't find the exact color I needed anywhere. Finally, Francesca's came to mind. Of course, they had exactly what I was looking for! The stores remind me a bit of a Charming Charlie's type store, but for adults. They always have the accessories I'm looking for, and some fairly inexpensive clothes that aren't going to be seen on everyone else in San Antonio. Service is a bit indifferent, though. The employees always seem friendly, once you're at the register, but you're ignored until then. read more

Worst customer service experience with the store manager, Dre. (When asked her name, she couldn't even give me her full name) I wanted to do a return for a dress I had ordered 11/3/2021 and finally had time to pick it up today. The manager refused my return because of their 21 day policy and wanted to give me store credit for a dress I had just picked up. She said if it was a "handful of days over I would make an exception" which tells me, she just didn't want to help me out. I will probably go to another store to do my return and get my store credit because that is not the issue at hand. When asked if you can make an exception for an online customer, given covid and how crazy times are now, as a manager, you should just help the customer out given the circumstances. I could be in the wrong here, but when a manager is contradicting and unable to empathize, it definitely tarnishes my entire perspective of that store. So I will no longer visit the quarry Francesca's if Dre is the one to set an example for the employees. I really hope this review reaches someone and this behavior and attitude is corrected immediately because "Dre" is not someone who should be representing the Francesca's franchise. read more

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Francesca's. One of the things I love the most is you could go every day and always find something different. Their stock is always changing. I enjoy going in about once a week since it does change so frequently, and almost always find something! It is my go to place when I need a dress. I would say almost all of my favorite dresses are from Fran's. They also have lots of neat knick-knack stuff. Perfect type of stuff to buy someone a cheap but fun present. Very random. Their jewelry is one of my fav's too! Usually I ahve no problem finding the perfect earrings and necklace to go with whatever outfit I just bought. They may be a "chain", but their clothes are all so different that it doesn't feel that way. read more

I went into Francesca's at the Quarry today hoping to find a dress that I have been eyeing for a couple of days. Prior to going to the Quarry location, I stopped at the Francescas at the Village of Stone Oak to see if they have it unfortunately they did not, but they were kind enough to call around to other stores to see if it was available. We had to leave before the Quarry could give an answer. So we headed that way to see if the Quarry location had it. As soon as we walked in I went up to the register to ask if they had it, the 3 ladies working barely acknowledged me and looked at me like I was stupid, and then finally one lady spoke up and said they did not have it in a very rude tone. I responded and said okay I would look around for another dress,I found one and went up to pay, and no acknowledgment whatsoever. It was very odd and she didn't ask me for my phone number for the rewards so my mom asked if she did and she said no and then her manager comes over and gives us dirty looks and was like i'll show you how to fix it, so I wasn't sure if I needed to cancel the transaction and so I asked and she looked at me as if I was stupid and then finally she asked me for my number and that was all she said and she looked so frustrated about the whole thing. I asked her if I was good to go and she just nodded and didn't hand me my bag so I grabbed it and left. Very rude and absolutely no customer service at this location, the location at the Village of Stone Oak are the friendliest people. I normally give retail workers the benefit of the doubt and just brush it off but these employees were just very rude and looked very unhappy to be there. read more

Trendy, kinda boho, hip, cheap. Not Forever 21 trendy, but nice trendy. Chic trendy. The kind of trendy which can last, if you wear it right. Hit up the jewelry table in the back for some good deals. This is a noteworthy place to find a dress. Located right next to Amy's ice cream in the Quarry, it's really convenient if you don't have a lot of time to find something. They have tons of flirty summer dresses in all different colors, patterns, and a variety of sizes. It's also a small boutique, so not as overwhelming as some other places. I'm more of a vintage jewelry collector, but if you like the trendy stuff they have an ample selection of earrings and necklaces. I didn't see a lot of pants/jeans, but they did have some adorable summer skirts. Everything clothingwise was priced around $38-$48, and the purses were around the $40-$50 range. read more

Haven't always been a fan of Francesca's as the one is Austin never had a great selection! However, most of the time I've visited here within the last year, I end up leaving with something! They have a great selection and are starting to get more trendy with more quality product! This is a shop I would like to shop at more, but, won't - here's why: They don't have XS sizes here - that eliminates a whole group of women from shopping. The prices are too high for the inexpensive fabrics used in the designs. Both pairs of earrings I bought had broken backings - once I pulled the earring out, the backings got clogged with some plastic, so I can't use them. The sales girls were slow to attend to customers. Overall, I am disappointed, because while this shop offers a different style from many stores in San Antonio, it doesn't deliver with quality items. read more
