My favorite clothing store in the entire United States. I've been to used clothing stores in New York City, L.A, Seattle, Maine, and more. Nothing compares to this. I'm in San Antonio a few times a year and this is always a must-visit location. I have never been anywhere that's has such a large and quality collection of mens clothing. And to have it completely centered on mens clothing makes it so much easier to find things since they have the space for it. The items are all quality! They have everything from $20 clothing items up to 1000s of dollars. It's always still good to make sure there aren't any stains or anything as I have seen a couple stains that were missed. They rotate clothing based on season, so checking back in at different times of year is worth while. Overcoats are more plentiful during the winter, linen clothing is really only put out in the summer. It is worth asking if they have certain item of clothing that are out of season. I've had them pull stuff out of the back that was recently brought in and was not going to be out on the floor until summer. They do have more large+ sized items than mediums and smalls. I'm the winter they camouflage hunting gear. Customer service is amazing. Even though I'm not usually trying on the higher-end clothing I feel like I'm treated like a high-end client. They're always happy to help you find items. I've even called to ask if they have specific items of clothing in stock and they were happy to look and see before I drive all the way over there. The changing rooms are nice and large. They don't do any returns or exchanges so making sure you really want you items is good. My only real complaint is that they starch almost all of their dress shirts. This drives me crazy personally. Since they are so starched you can't tell how soft the fabric really is and the shirts feel crunchy. I would 100% recommend anyone interested in buying used mens clothing to stop by here. read more

This store was amazing. Most places have such a small selection of men's clothes so it's refreshing to have a store with a huge variety of men's clothing. From sweaters, polos, shorts, to leather jackets. The prices were very reasonable, some items were a total steal. I got two jackets and a hat for $41! The two girls on duty were super nice and very helpful. Plus they have a rewards system so your purchases can lead to more discounts. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely but more in the future. read more

Never bring cloths there for f expecting to sell, just donate them somewhere else and take the tax credit, say they'll sell on consignment and give you a percentage but they don't. Went in with several pieces some expensive and still see at department stores and they said sorry can't take but will donate for you ( and they get the donation credit). you know they are just going to sell them anyways and keep for themselves read more

Wow! This is probably the neatest and best put together second hand store I have ever seen. I kind of felt like I was shopping in a high end store yet I wasn't. Love the ambience! We have a few things on consignment here so we will see how that goes but the guy that walked us through the it the first time was very very nice and explained the process (even though we did it a bit wrong). They rotate through clothes in a 90 day cycle so you will always find something new here. Looking forward to checking this place out in the future. read more

This place is wonderful! You can tell that I'm a sharp-dressed man, and this is where I get my threads. They offer a wide selection of mens clothing, from dress shirts, suits, slacks, pants, boots, shoes, and even accessories! The staff is exceedingly helpful. They have measured me countless times, because I can never remember my measurements. They send out great coupons, which I always use to grab something. Their clothes are always clean, and pressed to look great! The store is clean, and well lit. They offer numerous changing rooms, so you can always make sure that the clothing fits before you buy it. The selection is top notch. Many of the clothes seem to come from some department store, and have never even been worn before. They offer many classic styles that never go out of fashion. I've personally never sold anything there, but they offer consignment services, I've heard. The only drawback- No returns. read more

This place is fabulous. Wide selection of both styles and sizes. At least half the clothes here are once-worn or never-worn. They get a lot of wealthy wives clearing stuff out of their husbands' closets and selling it here. They buy hubby 20 new shirts at Christmas, and by the next Christmas he's only worn half of them. They bring them to Second Looks. Tommy Bahama shirts with the tags still on for $30. Always a great selection of Hawaiian shirts, plus the usual dress attire. I wear an unusual size, but even I found a couple suits here, including a Canali that had been worn maybe three times for $300. Walking around in a suit everyone thinks cost you two grand while you know you only paid a few hundred? It's a great feeling. They have a whole room of suits and sportcoats, several round racks of shirts, pants and shorts along the walls. They even offer shoes. Staff is very friendly, very professional. I make it a point to stop here any time I am in San Antonio. I don't give out many 5 stars, but this place deserves one. read more

The overall ambience of this place awesome. From vintage skies hanging on the wall, to the best up couches. This place does it right! I went in just browsing, and they do have quite a bit of things. One side is dedicated to sport coats and suits, while the other side is separates. Prices on some things are a but high but you really are buying quality, well made things. Very small shoe selection but not a lot of people go for used footwear anyway. Staff is small but very helpful, guessed my size and was spot on. Which to me, makes a huge difference versus the other places who just show you things that won't fit. I would like to take some things to sell, but not sure how it works here. No returns or exchanges so be sure to try everything on! All this place needs is to offer you a cocktail or beer and it would be a true NYC style men's shop. read more

Can't say I was entirely impressed. I've been twice as everyone needs a second chance. As I have learned, Second Looks, is what they DON'T do as soon as you walk through the door. I guess I didn't have a "rich" feel when I came in. I smiled and the one gentleman (I use that term loosely, since most well dressed men do not wear pants down to their knees) who was in front, did not smile or even bother to ask if I needed assistance. This was on both occasions. I walked in and looked around. Meanwhile, that one gentleman and a lady behind the counter just stared. On both occasions. I purchased two shirts and left. I will not be returning. It's unfortunate. The merchandise is not bad but there really isn't much for a gentleman that is big and tall. You could probably find most items at Kohl's or another chain store. The customer service is much more amicable. Unless you look "rich". Then you won't get a second look. read more

Great experience at this store! Went in with my brother to look for some clothes for him and we ended up finding a lot of great items. He likes a lot of color and print so it's kind of hard to find exactly what he's looking for at normal department sores. He had heard about this place on google and we decided to try it out. First impression was that the store was very clean and well kept and everything was organized very well, making for a very easy shopping experience. The employees who worked there, Eva and Norris were very helpful and super nice. We ended up getting 3 shirts and a pair of pants that he loved. He even said this was his new favorite place to shop. I thought when i went inside, they would direct me to the discount side and i would be on my own. The store manager-Norris, was the best. He took the time to measure all the areas needed for a professional fit. I like that the clothes are designer labels, doing an interview, the interviewer will know if you put out for your clothes. They didn't have a white shirt (I bought a tie though), so Norris directed me to Stein Mart, just down the road. I got the shirt I was looking for at SM, they also had some Issac Mizrahi shirts marked down to $20 from $60, i wanted to get one of them, but it would not have gone with my suit. I was put on a text alert list, they will alert you to sales and when they get a new stash of clothes, i can't wait, lots of stuff to make you look good. read more

I chose a pair of Luchese boots that I was told were mistagged and he wouldn't honor the price on the tag. He waved the tag in my face as if I was an idiot and said, this is NOT the right tag! He said but I can find out how much they really are, and came back saying they were $200 dollars more. He said if it was clothing it would be different but NOT these. The undivided attention he received was wonderful. The staff are very knowledgeable about their products and they make the shopping experience fun. It can be a bit overwhelming with the selection of clothes they offer and all these name brands, but the staff is what made this experience 5 stars. Norris is the best! He knows what to get as soon as he sees you! I went in there just to look around, ended up getting 4 dress shirts, a polo, jeans, and shorts! One of the shirts was BRAND NEW and only 17$! Second Looks had some very nice clothing. I did not care for the snobbish attitude of the clerks.

We were very disappointed by the poor customer service on this trip. Although most of the items are in good shape and good to high quality, the staff refused to honor sales signs claiming they were correct (they weren't and actually adjusted the sign while we were still in the store). They treated us like we were Julia Roberts on Rodeo Drive in Pretty Woman. We won't be back. Although we would have liked to have shopped there, the customer service is poor enough to make us choose elsewhere. Also, the prices aren't low enough to convince us to ignore the snotty attitude of the retail clerks and the low quality customer service. Maybe they treat other people differently. Maybe they judge based on how a potential customer is dressed or the color of their skin....who knows for sure? For people working a retail job selling secondhand/used clothing, they think very highly of themselves and not of the customer. All I know for sure is we won't be back nor will we recommend them to anyone. read more
