Do not rent from this place…read more 1. On 1/17/26 I reserved a tuxedo. I was told to pick it up on Wednesday 1/21/26 and that I would get a call before 2pm 2. On Wednesday I called at 3:42, I was told they were about to call me. I had an event at 5 pm at a location at across town. I was given a tuxedo to try on with a shirt that was 3XL. I have never worn anything larger than a L. I was told they could hem the shirt and be ready by 6pm. When I informed them I had to be across town at 5pm the older clerk angrily said "do you want it or not?" I politely said I would pick it up Friday afternoon. The jacket would have to also be hemmed up to match the shirt sleeves. 3. Friday afternoon I had another event that run late so at 5:46 I called them to inform them I would be 8 mins late to pick up the tuxedo. 4. The shirt was still fitting to big but i thought if i keep the jacket during the whole event on Saturday it would be ok. 5. The jacket sleeved were hemmed up about two inches from the mark the young staff member had done. The older gentleman even said it was hemmed up way above the mark. That gentleman was able to fix the jacket sleeves on the spot. 6. On 1/24/26 at 10:01 the event organizer informed all attendees the event would be cancelled due to the deteriorating weather conditions. At 11:18 I called Image Avenue Clothiers to inform them I would be returning the rental. I asked about their cancellation policy the young staff lady informed she would call me in 30 mins because they never had that happen in the past. I did not receive any calls. 7. I showed up around 1:20 with the tuxedo and rental agreement that has a cancellation fee of 50% on it. I was told by the older staff lady that I would not get any refund. Spend you money somewhere were you will be treated better.

Last week, I called to ask how much my alterations would cost. I was told the total would be $180 plus tax, which came out to around $194. When I went to pick up my items today, the owner insisted that he had written down $194 before tax, even though that was not what I was told over the phone. Then, when I was ready to pay the $210 he added a credit card processing fee, bringing my total to approximately $218. To avoid the additional surcharge, I left to get cash and returned to pay. I also asked for an itemized receipt so I could understand how the charges were calculated. He told me he didn't have one and that he simply calculated the price by looking at the number of pieces. I found that very unprofessional and lacking in transparency. On top of that, one of my dresses was returned with a crooked raw hem. When I pointed it out and asked if it could be corrected, the owner became visibly irritated. I also questioned why the hem had been left raw, and he insisted that was how I had brought the dress which I know that was not the case. Overall, I felt dismissed as a customer and uncomfortable throughout the interaction. Between the inconsistent pricing, lack of an itemized receipt, unexpected fees, and the owner's rude attitude when concerns were raised, I cannot recommend this shop. Unfortunately, while shopping other patrons were entering and giving staff members attitude about wearing masks/using the sanitizer and it broke my heart. New location, new review!…read more Chic'tique is my favorite boutique in all San Antonio! I've been a loyal customer for five years and the owner is the sweetest human in the whole world. This shop is women and latina-owned, and they carry a very limited selection of items that you can't find anywhere else. Every time I wear something from Chic'tique I get stopped and people will ask me where I got it from? The owner takes so much pride on making sure everything that is at the store is unique and of great quality. She is always adding new brands and items. They recently moved to a new location in the Broadway area acoss from Central Market. I love this location because even though is more intimate, the changing room and the vibe is so much better.
