We aren't familiar with the store layout and were talking amongst ourselves as to where men's pajamas could be. An employee who was close enough to hear us made a bee-line away being sure not to make eye contact. Once we found the department, we are talking to each other about where the flannel sets may be located. A second employee followed the example of our previous encounter. We did find what we wanted. No prices are listed nearby or on the garments. Now to find a cashier. We walk around looking. None of the customer service desks are manned. We finally find an employee who is able, and willing, to check us out. That was an unpleasant interaction. Our pajamas were sixty dollars and I apparantly am an ignorant human according to the cashier for not agreeing with their opinions. Brilliant.

They usually have a nice sales section in the back and most of the time, they have 50-60% off extra on those sale items. I did not see anything that I liked, but I did check some of their pants and socks. Nice selecion. In 1989, J.Crew opened its first retail store, in South Street Seaport in downtown Manhattan..today there are hundreds of stores, mostly in the USA, but also in some international locales.

I entered the doors and was overwhelmed by the amount of dresses. I really had no idea of what I wanted. I was told by the stunning and friendly salesperson - I assume it was Stefania because she was behind the register- that there were a lot more dresses upstairs. To say that I surprised by the amount of dresses and every color of the rainbow available would be an understatement. I didn't even know where to start looking. However, the women s upstairs were very helpful and knowledgeable pointing me in the right direction and room to begin, and were there for every step of my experience. There is literally something for everyone. I had a specific question, and the women working there answered it immediately. They know their inventory of thousands of dresses, and if they don't, Stefania is always there to help. This dress shop was perfect for the event for which it was intended. I was able to try on several dresses and come out and stand on a pedestal in order to see the dress from every angle. It's also a one-stop-shop - they have shoes and accessories, matching bow ties, and alterations are done on the premises. It was well worth the short drive from Massachusetts, and I highly recommend this Boutique for your special event. I strongly either shop at Stefania's Boutique ONLY, or make it your last stop on your list.

People all thru the store. I started to look for the size I had on which I couldn't find everything is color coded not by size. Finally after 5 mins of searching an older lady with blonde and grey hair came out from the back and asked me if I needed help. I said yes and expressed the concerns I had she said your not that size. She sounded as she didn't want to help me so Sent me in the dressing room and started to bring in some sizes that I knew just by looking at them they wouldn't fit. After trying on two bras she brought me in the bra that I told her I had on I showed her it was big and she then says "you should just get a breast reduction we won't find anything for you today". Then calls over another younger girl and tells her the same thing she looks at me and says yea you should. I've worked in customer service and I would never be this forward with people. I could have suggested online since in store they don't carry my size. Or maybe try resizing me again. Nope I left that store without buying anything and felt so defeated. It's always a hard experience when I go shopping and yesterday I felt like crying because the way that older lady made me feel. I will not be returning to this store as they don't understand that you should treat your customers good. I hope corporate sees this and does something about this I can't be the only one this has happened to.

With that having been said, I am having my first in-person job interview in about 3-4 years today since everything went "remote" due to the pandemic. I panicked. I do not own not one stitch of clothing for this type of thing, and this wasn't a planned interview. This was one of those phone calls at 9:30am ending with "can you pop by for an interview today?" I searched online everywhere. I'm 49 years old, but a young minded 49. I want to dress nicely. I want to look professional without looking like some four year old's grandma (not that there's anything wrong with that if that's your thing). I want to feel beautiful even if I don't think I am. And these girls at this shop - they were amazing. They asked what I was looking for. They felt my frustration. They probably saw the pain and anxiety in my eyes and face - (even a customer helped!) and they also understood the mission. They dressed me from head to toe. I tried everything on and I was amazed at how I looked. It was absolutely perfect. I wish I had gotten their names so I can call the company and tell them how amazing they are, but if you were working at Rainbow Shops on Oaklawn Avenue in Cranston, RI on April 29, 2024 around noon, this review is for you. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! Now, all I have to do is land this job! ;-)

They also have a huge jewelry section , I'm not a jewelry fan but my best friend is and she loves that section. They range in things sometimes they have little things like dog stuff , just off things which I don't mind. The location is fine and they have there own parking lot which is cool , I like that. There's never more than 2 employees it seems like and that can be an issue sometimes. The customer service isn't great , you're not greeted when you enter and you have to go looking for help even when you look clueless walking around this small store. That's the improvement I think they need. I've also come into this store before and workers were just so loud with their stories , very unprofessional and it was gossip stuff not something I want to hear screamed across the store.

Most people don't know how to use them, and then if you need to make a return you're waiting in line forever with the people making purchases, so it's a mess. I feel like I seldom find good deals unless if it's in the clearance section. The clearance section and added coupons you can find some deals, but even that selection is scarce and it's catered to just like crop tops, belly shirts and shorts most of the time. Regular prices items are really high, but I believe they do this so the coupons make it appear you're getting a great deal, which seldom do you. The associates act like you don't exist. And pretty much don't acknowledge you at all. I do like that they have an Amazon drop off in the store though. Those employees are nice, and it's very quick when all I have to do is return something that I didn't need or like from Amazon.
