Bought a new electric dryer replacing propane dryer. No power at wall receptacle in laundry room. Called Framing Electrical. Charged $85.00 to come out. For $360.00 would diagnose problem and not charge me the $85.00. Diagnosed problem as faulty dryer plug/receptacle and there was power in the 30 amp line. For another 400 plus dollars would repair/replace receptacle. Told him way to much and asked him to leave. Wrote check for $360.00 to a Kristopher F. (NOT to Framingham Electric Service). Had another electrician come in who was recommended to me by my plumber. Dryer receptacle is fine he says, there is no power to receptacle. My cost to diagnose this correctly $200.00. In summary, Framingham Electric Service got the diagnostic wrong and I'm out $360.00. I contacted Framingham Electrical asking them for some type of refund. Still waiting for response. read more
