Took my idea and elements into Will at Frame 2000 who put together a wonderful picture for me to give my mother for Christmas. The layout, details and care Will took to put this together was so professional and creative. He put up with my incessant requests with a smile and delivered my requests exactly as I asked. My mother was beside herself with this wonderful memory we shared that she can be reminded of every time she sees it. Very reasonable pricing with many options for framing and a quick turnaround. I was so excited to get this framed. This was from a wallpaper that my friends mother had in their bathroom in Cincinnati Ohio. Earlier this year, I brought an original textured painting to this shop for framing. The staff were friendly at first and helped me choose a frame. We specifically discussed the importance of leaving space between the artwork and the plexiglass so the paint would not be damaged. When I picked it up and unwrapped it at home, I saw no visible separation between the plexiglass and the painting. I called immediately, and the owner explained that the frame's thickness didn't allow for more space but assured me there was a small gap I simply couldn't see. I accepted that explanation at the time, though I was surprised they made that decision without consulting me. Over the following months, the artwork appears to have shifted, and now the plexiglass is pressing directly against the surface, leaving visible marks and stains (see attached photo). This not only compromises the appearance but risks permanent damage to the piece. When I called today to explain the situation, I expected them to ask me to bring the frame back for a fix. It's a large piece and transporting it is inconvenient, but I was willing to do it -- mistakes happen. Instead, the owner was hostile, dismissive, and refused to take responsibility. Rather than offering a solution, he made false accusations, such as claiming I had chosen four frames and didn't want to pay more.. This was both unprofessional and completely untrue. I ultimately hung up because of his aggressive attitude. I chose this shop because of positive reviews, and I'm glad others had good experiences. But if things don't work out the first time, don't expect accountability or professionalism from this business.

In my opinion I have found Frame 2000 unprofessional. In August 2024 I purchased a very expensive frame +$1400 for a family portrait. Gradually after some time hanging on the wall (less than a year), we noticed the frame start to come apart on one end. So, I wrote Sam his responses are as follows: Sam +"The frame looks like it has been dropped and has a lot of damages on it, so we recommend replacing it. You can bring it by to our shop anytime we're open seven days a week. Just because you need to replace the frame there will be cost of replacing it to a new frame." After confirming we've never dropped the frame, as there isn't even scratch on the exterior. Issue is the bonding in that 1 specific corner... his response... Sam +"from the pictures you sent it looks like the frame wasn't taken care of by you. So we really can't do anything about it without Re framing it. We gave a perfect frame when you picked it up, after that it is your responsibility to take care of it." Proceed at your own risk. I will NOT be returning to Frame 2000. Photos attached, come to your own conclusions.

Professionally framed piece with complimentary colored matting.

Brought in a Terrell Davis jersey not really knowing what to do with it, and these guys were awesome. They helped me pick out some cool memorabilia and colors to go with it and then framed everything perfectly. Super friendly, gave great suggestions, and the finished piece looks amazing on my wall. Definitely recommend them if you need anything framed!

I have utilized frame 2000 for multiple projects. I have been very impressed with the detail and fine work that they provide. As you can see from my samples, they had to do a specific customized frames for a specific types of posters or magazine articles. They knocked it out of the park and were very professional. They also did a great job fixing up some movie posters that had been damaged in previous moves. Although it is a drive from my residence, I do enjoy their work and will go back there often. I strongly recommend them. They are not the cheapest or the most expensive, but do provide good work. You should feel very confident in their work. read more

Great service, unbeatable prices and local. These days, with everything being online, it's refreshing to see the brick and mortar competing. Some things you just have to see in person. Will was able to print samples so I could see what my project would look like on different paper. This made all the difference. Frame 2000 in Venice does an excellent job framing all different sorts of pieces, from photographs, to watercolors and beyond. My husband comes from a family of artists, so we are consistently looking to have new pieces framed in a professional and aesthetically pleasing manner. Frame 2000 never disappoints! EDIT: Sam's response below is completely disingenuous. He states that his website (https://frame2000.com/) says the don't accept groupon. That's great except that isn't the website they have listed with yelp. the one on this page is pictureframingstorevenice.com and it doesnt mention groupon. Also, he should have told me they no longer accept them when I told him I had one. He was more than happy to let me pay $150 more if I couldn't figure it out. Frame 2000 does great work but they exhibited a completely unethical business practice today. I was bringing in a poster to be framed and did a quick search to see if there was any coupons. There was a groupon available that was for $200 in framing for $62 so I bought it. What a great deal! They quoted me $249 for my frame job. When I told the man that I had a groupon he said "Oh I have to take off your discount then." He went inside for a couple minutes and came out and said that the price of the frame job was now $498!!! He said he had previously given me a 50% discount. So if i used the groupon my total out of pocket cost would be $360!!! That's $111 more than had I not bought it. When I pointed this out to him he told me to "return the groupon then". I told him that it was his choice to offer the groupon and that he should honor it or not offer it in the first place. His response to me was to tell me that I was "rude and a cheapskate". Wow. I just now did a search of "groupon" under reviews and there's many people that have had the same experience. The Owner Sam's replies are all the same and they're bulls&*t. Clearly the groupon trick must work for them or they would stop doing it. If you go in there and tell them you have a groupon before they give you a price you would never know you're getting ripped off. They're choosing to be sleazebags by running the groupon scam. Shame on them. read more

What an amazing find and the true representation of customer service. I found Frame 2000 from a yelp search because I needed two services: custom framing and help hanging a heavy large mirror. I left delighted with the experience and have found my go-to destination for all my framing and hanging needs. The detail: we just moved here and needed help installing our large heavy mirror in our living room. For $65 we were able to arrange for professionals to come out the very next day, next morning in fact, to safely hang the mirror and artwork for our place. They brought all the supplies necessary too! What a deal! The guys were experts with hanging everything level and had a real eye for placement. I will have them hang our future items for sure. We wanted to get an archival quality custom frame and double mat for our wedding contract, a ketubah. I had a specific vision in mind and Sam patiently listened to me and made suggestions till we found a combination of matting and framing that looked phenomenal. He had an artistic eye which I appreciated. I felt more than comfortable leaving our one of a kind and irreplaceable piece of art in his hands which was very reassuring. I bought 5 prints online that I needed to get framed. I came into the store and the owner was very friendly and gave me a lot of different options. I'm extremely happy with how they turned out. Great quality work and fairly quick turnaround, he originally said it would take 3-4 weeks and they were done in about 2. He gave me hardware pieces and they were very easy to hang. I've been going to Frame 2000 for a decade and they are the best. Always fair and transparent in their process and pricing. They do high quality work and stand by it. Once, months after my frame was done and hanging on my wall there was an issue with termites coming out of part of the wood and I brought it in and they replaced it no questions asked for free. read more

Found this frame shop a little hard to locate. They're in a tiny strip mall with cramped parking & occupy a diagonal store front. I needed a print framed & they did a superb job with a simple maple frame and good well-covered backing. Took only 2 weeks which I appreciated. 1 star off only because it was a tiny interior with limited counter space & no freedom or time to select a frame at leisure. I felt very rushed. Also, customers have to wait outside at a table blocking the entrance, and ring a little bell to get someone's attention. Prices are very reasonable. I would go back (maybe) & hope its less crowded next time around. read more

I had a wrinkled old certificate from my navy days and brought it in here to get framed. Not only did they get every wrinkle out, they made it look brand new. I came in on Wednesday to have a poster framed and was pleased with the polite gentleman that assisted me and the quote (I'd been shopping around the area and this was the best price for the quality). I mentioned that I was hoping to have the framed poster back for my dinner party that coming Saturday and the man said no problem! Showed up with a couple prints for framing. Will walked me through the entire process, tons of options, gave his design recommendation (which, of course, was the perfect choice), and never rushed me. These prints have a lot of real and sentimental value, and I am super picky about design details, so was a bit anxious when I went to pick them up.... but the finished product exceeded my expectations! Fantastic decisions around size of frame, mats - colors - perfectly positioned pieces - flawless mat cutting. Was not incentivized to post this review in any way, other than really enjoying the service and wanting to share the experience with others. I'll definitely be back. read more

Very happy. So glad I chose this place. Sorry about the quality of my pic. But that's on me. The actual work is great. My first year wedding anniversary was coming up so I wanted to surprise my wife by getting our wedding pictures framed. I know, that's normally a bad move. But I know it's something she wanted and it was a already a year without getting those picture framed and this would qualify for paper. I'm no framing expert. My criteria was that my wife would love it. So I needed a framer who could not only do a great job but hold my hand through the process. But not be too smothering. The good folks at Frame 2000 patiently walked me through the many options they suggested and explained how that would be appropriate for the type of pictures that were being framed. I of course wanted to think through more options. And I was given all the time I wanted to go through frame after frame. By the end I came back to the frames they had suggested because it now just felt right. Oh and of course I was getting short on time to get my order completed for our anniversary. No problem. They accommodate for slightly rushed order. And the price was very fair. Of course all this doesn't matter. I was so relieved when my wife said she really loved the framing. She would have told me if she didn't :). Done. And I will go back for more. So this is my review to the next person who is scrambling and needs to find a frame shop he or she can trust. Absolutely awful experience. Incredibly rude staff (owner I think), like seriously rude, totally blew me away. Not sure if he was having a bad day but I certainly wont be back! Looks like John had a similar awakening yesterday, wonder if it was the same middle eastern chap who doesn't understand customer service at all that insulted him - probably. **UPDATE** Just noticed the owner has left a comment after my review, I'll copy it here (see below) because I'm sure he'll edit it once he reads this. Notice how he doesn't even apologize for being so unbelievably rude that day. He could of easily gained a customer back by being sincere and saying sorry it was a rough day or something to that effect. Absolutely mind blowing how stubbon this guy is. "We Really Could Not Help This Customer Because The Way He Wanted His Framing To be Done Was Beyond our Capability . I Am From Iran And Been Living In USA for 34 Years went to USU Got My Degree In Civil Engineering And Running A Successful business in Venice Ca. GREAT customer service, blows Aaron Brothers away! I just picked up my three pictures in their fantastic frames and had a great experience at this store from start to finish. I went to Another Frame Shop initially and had such a negative encounter with the grumpy sales person who honestly made me feel like I was bothering her. Left there and went to Frame 2000 In Venice and Sam was so friendly and welcoming and not pushy at all. He is Doing Framing For Over 29 Years So He has a great eye For Colors And He make sure I had the best options for my artwork, and He didn't try and up sell me but instead recommended what He felt was best for the art. SO appreciated. In an age of crappy customer service, Sam is a breath of fresh air. Save your time and go straight here, you will be glad you did! read more

What a lovely shop and team. Sam and Will are wonderful to work with and are excellent at their craft. I'm working on a large gallery wall for my new apartment and have had several images printed and framed here. The quality is impeccable, the turnaround time is quick, the team is SO very kind, and the experience is seamless. I really value Sam's opinion and expertise as I select the perfect mat color and frame style. Will is also great at achieving all of my printing needs. I used to get my images framed using online services like Framebridge but certainly not anymore now that I see the huge quality improvement in the images I've had framed at Frame 2000. These people are not only the best framers I have found in all of West Los Angeles they are also the nicest. Good quality craftsman. I have been using them for 10 years. Want to support real artists? Go here. I have a high attention to detail and I am always impressed with the work they do. Never any complaints. If you want avoid spending money on frames made in sweatshops, shop here. Cost of living in LA is high ( you know you live here). This shop pays their employees a fair wage so don't complain about the price if you think the minimum wage should be raised. You are paying for these craftsman to have a career and afford a life in Los Angeles. read more

I went about 2 weeks ago to try to check out some frames for a collection of posters I have. Sam and Beto were just amazing. They showed me what kinds of materials would go best with my posters and helped transform my posters into a real work of art. They take extra care with every facet of framing and I am extremely impressed with the product. I highly recommend. If you have a photo, artwork or picture that you really cherish, it's a MUST to bring it to Sam. They also have a fantastic instagram and facebook account that shows the work that they've done. read more

I have been going to frame 200 for over ten years and have always received beautiful, well-crafted results in an amazingly short turn around time. For the level of framing as well as the quality of the product the prices are unbelievably reasonable. The icing on the cake is that Sam, the owner, and Will, his assistant and expert framer, could not be nicer, more honest people. I came with 6 pieces of art in order to get them framed. There is no price list in that store. The prices are always "around" or "ish". The business owner tried to get my over all budget much more than giving me the prices I was asking for. This place is like a souk and I left without giving them any job to do. On the top of it, the prices given by the merchant were not reasonable. I end up at an other framing store paying 3 times less expensive. Good luck G. read more

What a fantastic experience!!! Sam and Christian made everything so easy. They went out of their way to help me get exactly what I wanted at a price I could afford. Nice as can be and super friendly. I had the pleasure of being assisted twice at Frame 2000 by Will and instantly knew his ideas were trustworthy--that he had an artist's sensibility. Yet I also never felt pushed into any choices to be made. The store has a very large selection of frames and that added to my comfort level. He very patiently gave me all the time I needed to pick out the frame (I'm bad at making decisions), and walked me through the process of how it would be framed. I went there recently to get a small poster framed I got at a music show. The staff there was super helpful! Very nice and they worked with me to show many options for a border.
