This place has the worst service. The girl who works at this store doesn't greet people. She just stands there waiting for you to order and tells the total. No "thank you" or anything when taking payment. No niceties at all. No manners at all. This isn't an isolated incident either... I have been here twice when she was working here today 04/01 around 2:45 and a few days before. Whoever does the hiring here, what are your qualifications and training seriously. The jerky is not bad and the price is acceptable but the service is enough to deter me from coming back.

I like the idea that their products ate made fresh. I tried the spicy bacon, which I like. Will come back and try others.

As of 11/2/2020 This one has pork and bacon. Super good!

As of 11/2/2020 I try not to go here often cuz it's pricey; but hard to resist. There were only two selections when I arrived at noon today. I bought both kinds. Jerkies are fresh and nicely cut and packed. The employees are nice and efficient. As I was walking in, there was an employee wiping down the doors and handle. There's plexiglass between the customer and cash register. Sanitizer and napkins (such a bonus) are provided. Another Yelper mentioned a 'disgusting smell?' I've been here 3-4 times and never experienced at the RH store.

I used to drive 1hr out from Irvine to Rosemead just to get fresh jerky from here to take home to my parents. It's a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it especially when it's fresh off the grill and still hot. The classic pork and beef are by far the two best flavors. My only complaint is that for some reason, the store always smells disgusting, but the same at both locations. I don't know what they're using or if this is just a byproduct of cooking, but the smell is pretty nasty as soon as you walk in. You get used to it though in about 5 minutes. That said, don't let the smell divert you away. This jerky is SO damn good.

I come here everytime I go to LA. I come pretty often so I'm not buying 10lbs haha.I love the bacon and my mom likes the original. I usually get 5-6 bags of .25lb or else I'm going to all 1 lb in one setting.

Pepper beef jerky - $25.50/lb sweet and peppery very good!

Very good jerky from SG! I looked the beef more than the pork, but both are excellent!

Their jerky is really tasty and full of flavor. You can sample the flavors before you buy them. Spicy pork is my favorite.

Nice, reasonably priced Indonesian dishes. Had a chicken rice dish with appetizers and it didn't…read morebreak the bank. Never really had the banana leaf wrapped rice before so it was a treat. The rice was flavorful along side the well cooked meat. It came with an egg, spicy peanuts, and a coquette. You can order at the counter or at the table. Though, if you're unfamiliar, it's worth it to ask the staff for details especially for the items listed on the daily special since there's no descriptor on those. The place also serves as a mini grocery for Indonesian items if you want to make it at home. It does give homely vibes with a sense of community. Will definitely come back to try the other dishes like the satay. Fun fact, they were part of the original food court but now have their own space.

In Los Angeles, Indonesian restaurants are few and far between, therefore, finding a good one has…read morebeen a challenge. Indo Bistro is definitely one of the betters ones. They serve authentic Indonesian foods that remind me of Jakarta. Today I was really craving Ayam Goreng Kremes, because it's been many years since the last time I had it. Nasi Ayam Kremes is a combination of Indonesian style fried chicken, white rice, perkedel (fried potato pattie), fried tofu, fried tempeh, and sayur asem soup. The chicken is deep fried after it's been cooked in herbs and fully marinated. Very flavorful as I can really taste the different herbs and spices. Over the fried chicken is a generous serving of savory crunchy crumbs. There's also a side of medium spicy house sambal. I would recommend adding some kecap manis (Indonesian sweet soy sauce) and use this as dipping sauce. The half fried chicken is rather small, about the size of a Cornish hen. The soup is pretty good, even though I am not a fan of sayur asem soup. This tamarind-based soup contains green beans, chayote, corn rounds, and peanuts. The deep fried marinated tofu and tempeh are so yummy! They truly remind me of the good ol' days living in Indonesia, as they are the staple foods of the locals. The perkedel is just passable, possibly because it is served cold. Unfortunately, it isn't as crispy as it should be. The restaurant is small. Other than the kitchen crew, only one person was doing all the work. Good and very friendly service. My order did take a long time, however. If you're in a rush, you may want to eat somewhere else. Indo Bistro is the place where you really want to "santai" which means relax, take it easy. Indo Bistro is an Indonesian restaurant, mini-mart hybrid. They sell a variety of pre-packaged Indonesian snacks, shelf stable groceries, and also freshly-made market snacks, such as pastel, lemper, bakcang, rempeyek, etc. I also tried their savory snack Lemper, which is sticky rice stuffed with shredded chicken that's been cooked in coconut milk. After it is wrapped in fresh banana leaf, it is then char-grilled. Their lemper is really good, but very greasy. It's basically food and lip gloss in one. BOGO Lol Next time when I'm craving more Indonesian food, I'll be coming back to Indo Bistro. They have really good chicken satays.

I normally don't like…read moreeating at Asian Restaurants because of the lack of cleanliness and warm hospitality but this Phoenix location really blew me away with it's exquisitely lovely design and amazing Food and Service. The whole store was sparkling clean, well stocked, and enthusiastically inviting upon my arrival!! The Restaurant had a gorgeous selection of artfully alluring desserts and fresh specialty drinks on display on my way to the dining room. Alisa presented me a beautifully designed colorful and neatly laminated Menu which was an excellent asset in helping me choose my meal for the late afternoon. I decided to try their Congee with the preserved egg and a side of Chinese Donuts. My food came out quick and exceeded my expectations wheh it came to presentation and taste!! I love how Phoenix shows so much respect to Congee by presenting it in an Elegantly shaped v shaped Black Bowl and how finely chopped and delicately seasoned the salted pork was. The preserved egg had a vibrantly artistic orange hue to it too that I wasn't expecting and I like how the Congee was garnished with fresh scallions! The Chinese Donuts were crispy, hot, and cut up in attractive and uniform bite size pieces too. I enjoyed my meal so much and loved that the Chefs and Alisa were of Cantonese heritage to enhance the Cultural Qi restoration of the experience! Alisa was so warm and lively to talk to, I told her my Mom recently left on a Vacation to China so I was looking for good spots to make Cantonese food that feels like home. The Phoenix Team definitely hit the spot and showed me how our favorite recipes can be elevated to the next level! I took pictures of the Congee and Chinese Donuts to show my Mom that I was being well taken care of by Phoenix and even picked up some Mango and Almond pudding on the way out for my Mexican Church Dad. Thank you to the Phoenix Team for giving me such a special and highly satisfying health restoration experience! Cantonese Food is such a refined and poetically Sexy Art Form and it makes me so happy to see a Restaurant sell the traditional delicacy of Congee and Chinese Donuts so well and make it easily affordable for the Community to enjoy!!! I definitely recommend you try Phoenix for your next Cultural Magic Carpet Adventure!
