Do not go here unless you want to be disappointed, I don't usually leave bad reviews but this place is definitely not somewhere you want to get your nails done at. They rush the service, do a horrible job and if you ask them to fix something nicely they get mad at you and make you feel dumb and disagree with you that anything is wrong with your nails. They painted my toes worse than a child and when I asked them nicely to clean them up cause there was paint all over my toes they told me they looked fine. I pointed out all the paint on my skin and they "tried" to clean it up meanwhile saying that's how they are suppose to look the whole time. Ontop of that my big toes got red, hot and swollen on the corners a few days after, they must not properly clean their equipment. This photos are AFTER they "cleaned them up". I am so glad I was recommended to this nail salon. I had been looking for someone to do Ombre nails or something more modern. I had never tried any other style or swayed from my usual French square tip. Kathy was pleasant and patient with me and explained different type of styles and made me feel comfortable with the coffin shape. I walked in without a appt and had a small wait but worth it. Me and my mother walked to get 2 full sets. Then the owner said look on google for a design so I did but then they told me the price $75. So I said that's fine I'll pay then she wanted the money up front so I said ok the the nail person said I'm not going to do then nails now bcuz I'm in a bad mood. She is argumentative and always using the excuse of not understanding english or some other poor excuse for her rude behavior. Tony did a really good job in spite of her always putting him down trying to get his customers switched to her sister in law Anna. I would not have gone back except for Tony's consistent work. I have been going to Foxy Nails for almost a year now and don't see myself going anywhere else. There is a lot of parking in the plaza. They have a clean store. The staff are friendly and funny at times. They really try to get to know their customers. They also offer water to their customers. While walk-ins are welcome, you are better off booking an appointment or coming in on their slower days. If anything, make sure to call before coming. Otherwise, prepare to wait for a long while. My to-go manicurist is Tony. He really takes his time to do the service right. He gives the best massages! He always ask if he is applying too much pressure though I think it's perfect. I feel so relaxed after those massages. I would probably say the downside is that they are limited on certain designs (if you reference a picture), but they are definitely trying come out with their own designs and some of them are super cute! read more

I always come here for nail services. Lately, I got Tony to do my pedicures. It took only less than 15 minutes to get it done. Another thing, Tony always over charged me for the services. I always pay cash to get discounts but the last time, Tony only showed me the card price so I did not get any discount at all for paying with cash. Please be careful when paying if you get the services from him.... Or better go to the ladies! read more

The man that did my pedicure CUT MY TOE. As he was doing a set on my nails, he cut my pinky finger and was SO ROUGH with my fingers in general. He didn't wiped the blood off the acrylic nail off before it cured, so of course the nail became BUMPY. He didn't even apologize. On top of that, he charged me extra for using cash and card. Then he didn't do my nails like how I WANTED them done. Then insists me on giving him a tip when I didn't like the service and MY NAILS. I tipped the man $10 to not make a big deal honestly. Two days later, I have a severe toe infection because of that man. He clearly DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO DO pedicures/manicures/sets correctly in a set cautious manner. Just got a gel mani yesterday by the guy with long hair (didn't really introduced himself) I won't even mention that he wasn't friendly all I care about is that they do a good job. Well my cuticle cleaning took about 3 minutes. So he didn't clean me up as you can tell. The polish was bumpy and my middle finger was a powder dip you can't tell it doesn't look good. Worst is that you can tell my index cracked already so I'm bummed. Definitely not going back not even to get it fixed. I will say however the other 2 ladies that were there were so cheerful and I'm guessing pretty good at what they do based on how loyal the other customers seemed to them. When i first found this place,i loved it and my nail tech...last couple times have not been good...when i call for an appt,i expect to get the tech i booked with..well,i did not this time or the time before.i got put to her boyfriend whom clearly did not know how to do what i asked for..the shape and the work done was absolutely horrid!!! I get gel polish which is a thick polish and he put 3 coats on and makes u dry ur hands in the uv light 4 times..so,not only was the job horrible my nail polish was way to thick...i did not ask for a design ither i used a couple colors and they charge for that 3 extra dollars..needless to say I'll never go there ahain or recommend the place foxy nails again..everytime i go the price goes up. They should tell the client that tjis and that will be extra..i could've gotten a whole new set for what i was charged for a crappy fill.. read more

My friend and I previously went to Foxy Nails. We go mani/pedis. The polish on our nails started peeling off within a day or two. When I called the salon to explain the problem they said it wasn't the product they were using. Rather it was something that we were doing which made the polish peel. This is the worse nail salon I have ever been to. I guess thats what I get for not yelping and letting my mom take me to some random place. I asked if they could do a manicure prior to getting a full set, they said they only do it after, which makes no freaking sense because don't you think you would get your cuticles pushed and cut PRIOR to haveing a set of nails put on? skipped the manicure and asked for them to push an cut cuticles prior to putting on the set. pushed all my cuticles up, and cut 2 of them, and forgot the rest. Not only that but made those 2 bleed. Once I saw that, I didn't even correct him on cutting the rest. I said I wanted the nails short, not 2 inches long. I asked to cut them down like 3 times. WHAT PART OF SHORT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND!! The acyrlic put on was globbed thick. Then sanded my nails where it was burning me, through the thick acyrlic down to my skin, I pulled away twice and he kept pulling my hand back. I was about to scream! generally i would tolerate pain if need, but I was dreading this as though I was at the dentist, give me more novacaine jerk! I asked for french tip to be painted on, it was sloppy. The whole time he did it he was talking in some foreign language to the owner. 1. I don't want to hear you speak in another language that I can not understand. It's rude and annoying! 2. He didn't take his time and perfect it, was very sloppy. Here comes the pedicure. The girl was real sweet, and did an over all good job EXCEPT when she gave me a half ass foot and leg massage. It was more like she lightly molesting my feet and legs, she stared at them dearly as she did this which freaked me out as she clearly is a lesbian. It was actually annoying! SKIP THE MASSAGE! Get me the EFF!!! outta here now!!!! I went with my mom, brother and sister, all which complained about something or other. The owner told me that I spent more than everyone else, looking for approval. Yes, and! Ring it up!!!!!!!!! Holy Moly! This place is a crap hole! Foxy Nails is my new go-to nail salon. They are professional, have reasonable prices, and the salon is always clean. They are very friendly and offer water or tea while your nails are being done. The drive to Thousand Palms is well worth it. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Update: My daughter was visiting from Northern CA at Christmas. I took her and my other daughter to get our nails done at Foxy Nails. All of our nails were perfectly done. My daughter brought a picture of the design she wanted, Kathy made it happen, and it looked better than the picture! Anna did my nails and gave me a great manicure with gel polish. My other daughter also had Kathy and her nails look beautiful. Even though it was a Friday and they were very busy they took the time to give us great service and beautiful nails. My recent experience at Foxy Nails was extremely disappointing. When the technician brought her tools to where I was sitting, they were not in plastic and I questioned if they were sterilized. She literally lost it and wanted to know if I thought she was dumb and just kept antagonizing me. I asked her to please stop and just finish the job. She had the audacity to suggest that I was not going to pay her. I was appalled that she would even make a statement like that. I told her I was a "woman of my word" that she would be paid. She made a minimal effort to do the whole job. I would never consider going back to an establishment for such abuse all because of questioning their cleanliness. read more

Five stars! Best nail salon I've been to in years. Also one of the cleanest (they put in a plastic bag for pedi spa and clean after every guest.) Very nice people and family owned, you can't go wrong with that! Went in for a full set of acrylic, and took less than one hour. the prior reviews was correct on the guy with long hair, he did my pedi first and it was very sloppy. i even had to ask him to redo some of my cuticles cause he skipped on them. from the time i sat down to getting up for my pedi, it took 20 mins, and thats with my prior colors removed. fastest pedi ever. so i asked to switch to Anna for my gal mani, and she took her time and did a fantastic job. 5 stars for Anna and 1 star deducted for the poor pedi job.
