Nice area. Appeared clean. 60 minutes full body massage was about $200. The masseuse was very professional. Enjoyed the massage. We enjoyed the relaxing room with tea, mocktail drinks, and snack. The pool and jacuzzi were nice and clean. The quiet message chairs were also really nice. The steam room, sauna, and halotherapy salt chamber were also nice amenities that we enjoyed. Overall, enjoyed the day at the spa.

The location is really lovely and the staff were kind and friendly. I booked the gel manicure however and the end result was really disappointing. I don't usually get my nails done so it was kind of a treat but I had a gift card and at check out they didn't ask how my service was so I didn't feel like making a fuss. But my nails look so much worse than they did when I arrived. There is something still on them that is pulling my skin and there's a polish all over the place. Also the massage part was much shorter than I thought it would be. In terms of the day spa area the whirlpool and sauna area doesn't seem to be a quiet area as there was a group of women talking so if you're looking for a more peaceful spa it doesn't really fit that vibe. I can't speak to the other services either.

Go on a Monday that doesn't follow a holiday and you will have the place to yourself. I last paid $80 for a haircut. I can make a short drive to the desert and pay $85 and get entrance to the spa for the whole day to boot. My husband and I made a day of it and enjoyed all the amenities and had lunch by the pool. For under $250 we had a spa day, had a service, enjoyed all the amenities and lunch, and felt totally pampered. Highly recommend!

My fiancé and I had the couples massage We paid $415 for the both of us and had access to the spa all day long which was amazing! Our two massage therapists were absolutely amazing we were very happy and relaxed after our massages - we then went into the lounge where we enjoyed some tea and cookies together - theres a pool area, the showers were so clean with shower caps, shampoos, etc.. overall an amazing spa. Thank you Sunstone.

Went here with my sisters and loved everything about my experience. It is a smaller spa not a lot of things to do but the service and relaxation level was definitely 10/10. I had a prenatal massage by Keyla and she was amazing and very knowledgeable. Will return and book another massage with her.

My son bought me a gift card for my birthday. I waited for the weather to change to use it. The massage was fantastic. The facilities are very nice, the staff is helpful and kind. The pool was at a great temperature. I had lunch and a cocktail by the pool, both were delicious. I look forward to coming back soon.

Went to try this place out and was greeted by a friendly staff and provided a bottle of water upon arrival and check in!!!

Went to get a 30 min back of body massage yesterday! I arrived early about an hour before my appointment and upon arrival I was greeted and checked in by a very friendly staff at the front desk and provided a free bottle of water! They got me all checked in and then an another friendly male employee escorted me back to the men's locker room and showed me how to use the lockers to secure all my clothes and belongs and provided me with a robe and sandals to wear! Once I was changed another male employee came an got me and took me on a tour of the facility and showed and explained all the amenities I was able to use and enjoy before my massage appointment! Once I was done with my tour of the facility i wanted to try the HALOTHERAPY machine so the male employee who provided me the tour got the machine all set up and ready and I went into the booth for 10 mins and WOW what an experience after I got out of the HALOTHERAPY machine my sinuses felt amazing and my head felt clear and I could breathe a lot better! I then gave the steam room a try for bout 10-15 mins and that relaxed me and opened up all my pores! I then went and took and amazing rain shower and they have shampoo conditioner and body wash in the showers for you to use to clean my body from all the salt powder from the HALOTHERAPY machine and sweat from the steam room and the shower was amazingly awesome! Once I was done with my shower I dried off and put my robe on and went into the men's lounge and sat in the reclining massage chair and relaxed and waited for my massage appointment! Approx 30 mins later the massage therapist Sal came and got me and to me back to the massage room and got setup to start my massage! Sal was awesome and provided a very relaxing massage with essential oils and a lot of pressure which was needed to work a lot of knots and stiffness out of my back from working 50 hours a week at my job!!! Once I was finished with my massage I went and took another amazing rain shower to wash off the oils used from the massage and went and changed back in to my clothes and grab my belongings out of my locker! Then went back to the front desk where I was greeted again by the friendly staff and asked how my experience was and checked out!!! I will definitely be back in the future as I had an amazing experience and felt very relaxed when I was done with my appointment! I highly recommend this spa for all your pampering need both male and female! Thanks again to all the staff you knocked it out the park and really made for an awesome relaxing experience!!!

    Happy 35th birthday!!

We had an amazing time at the spa. We went as a group of six to celebrate our daughters 35th birthday. The staff was amazing!!!!!! Very friendly, professional and genuinely kind. It was the day before the huge tropical storm hit our desert, so they were quick to inform us that some of the outdoor amenities may not be available, due to possible lightening. We understood their safety policy but continued with our visit. Another gentleman (sorry about the name) and Wendy kept monitoring the weather and recognized it was safe and we were able to use the outdoor amenities, we were so excited! It was actually very nice outside for August in the desert. I was so impressed with their continues communication and their commitment to making our experience truly enjoyable. Thank you, Thank you ,Thank you!!

Can males and females go in the steam room/ spas/ etc together or are there separate male/ female areas?

There is a womans area and and a mans area. There is a co-ed lounge and pool area that men and women can enjoy together.

As a family we'd visit The Spa throughout the late 80s and more frequently in the early to mid 90s. We also went there after the 90s but not as often. The last time I went there was around mid 2000. It was always memorable for us but very disappointing when they closed down for a very long time. We went there one time, hoping to enjoy the waters. But all we saw was flat ground where The Spa used to be. We inquired about other spa resorts but none compared to The Spa. I would call sometimes after they renovated the casino nearby to inquire if they would open a hot springs resort again. I was told that the waters were too sacred for the native Americans who own the land, so they would never rebuild a spa. My mom loved it there so much that we tried to find something that was even just a little bit as nice as The Spa in Palm Springs or Dessert Hot Springs. We never found a place like it. Sadly, I stopped inquiring and my mother passed away 2 years ago. I found out recently that they opened Séc-he in 2023, a year before my mother passed. So going there recently was bittersweet for me. I wish my mom had been able to enjoy it but it really doesn't matter since she's in a much better place anyway. I had a great experience there and didn't imagine how much nicer it was than I expected. Of course I was surprised by how much bigger Séc-he is than the previous Spa. I expected to have the same services as The Spa and almost didn't enter because of the price. It didn't make sense to me because I was thinking it was similar to The Spa. This renovated spa resort is much bigger and more interesting, aesthetically, than the previous one. The previous one was built in 1960 and while I liked the mid-century modern look, I like this a lot better. I was given a tour of the area and amenities before I began my journey there. I have been to the three top resorts in Japan, Harbin and Esalen in N. CA, and Beverly Hot Springs in L.A. Séc-he offers more amenities compared to all of those other hot springs and hot springs resorts. You really can't compare because Japanese love to replicate an atmosphere that's as natural as possible. And Esalen and Harbin are outdoor, with Esalen overlooking the Big Sur ocean high above. So it's a different experience and they're not as luxurious as Séc-he. I recommend the 15-minute private mineral bath that you have to reserve. It's one of the only features that was retained from the previous The Spa. You don't need more than 15 minutes because it's very hot. The floatation room was the highlight of my journey at Séc-he. It was my first experience doing that and it was amazing. After a while I didn't feel my body because of the relaxing atmosphere and the way you float effortlessly on the water. Your body is just inches away from the bottom but it feels like you're on a lake or on a calm ocean somewhere in the Caribbean. I highly suggest visiting the spa on a Monday because there's less people. I think Monday-Wednesday would be ideal. I have been to many spa resorts in CA throughout the years that have mineral or geothermal waters. Glenn Ivy and La Vida were our family's favorites but La Vida closed over 35 years ago and Glen Ivy only offers a small geothermal bath that is too small to appreciate because there are too many people using it. My parents used to go to them long before I was born. The only one that still exists in Los Angeles is Beverly Hot Springs but you're limited to 2 hours, which is necessary due to its size. Otherwise it would be crowded with too many people even on week days. If you seek out the best geothermal waters, Mercey Hot Springs would probably be among the best. But I recommend reading about the unique, natural method the geothermal waters are distributed at Séc-he. Because of the way the hot springs move around geologically, you get benefits from minerals that you won't derive from other hot springs. And this is something I immediately felt on my skin after going into the outdoor pool that's fed by geothermal waters. My skin felt like it had an oily, silky residue. The water in that pool is very soft. That's something to keep in mind if you're seeking the most beneficial geothermal waters because all hot springs aren't the same. I will definitely go there again and this time to enjoy cryotherapy.

There is a reason that Spa at Séc-he consistently ranks #1 in many of the rankings in CA and in the US. It is unreal. Not only is it huge, they have thought of literally everything. Re-imagined in 2018 and completely renovated between 2021-23, they re-opened in April 2023. But it's history of being a natural hot springs dates back more than 100 years. I'm not going to detail all the amenities - just browse their site and book some time there. PRO TIP #1: it's not a 1-hour treatment and done. Plan to spend 3-4 hours there, enjoying all the amenities and different areas. PRO TIP #2: booking a treatment includes a 15-minute soak in a personal, private mineral bath. These waters are 108 degrees and come directly from 1.5 miles below the earth surface. Very mineral-y, but I'm sure did wonders for my skin. Don't miss it. PRO TIP #3: if your a FT or PT resident, mention it on check-out, they offer a locals discount. ENJOY!

I stayed in a suite which had a private patio with a stone tub so you can have your own personal mineral bath. The room was very clean, not a lot of amenities, but it did have a small kitchenette and a very cool record player complete with records to play. There are three mineral pools. One is smaller with jets and has a higher temperature than the other two. There's another bigger one that serves as a swimming pool with a lower temperature. And the third one is enclosed with a medium temperature. As you walk further through the garden and down some stone steps, you will reach a small spa that has various rooms for treatments. There is also a dry sauna, showers, and an infrared sauna on the outside. This one was my favorite because the glass doors face the garden. It was very Zen. The massage therapist were very good. Thank you to Landon and Andrew for that. I really appreciated the intimacy of the Resort and all of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Mel was especially helpful and kind. I found this cute little resort outside of the heart of Palm Springs. Why did I choose The Spring Resort? I LOVE the heat and I LOVE hot springs! The resort is not huge but has three mineral pools, a large open air pool, medium size dipping pool and smaller hot tub. All naturally hot and restoring. The rooms are peaceful without TVs but still have WiFi available. Robes and slippers are also in the rooms along with a mini fridge that was in the closet. The pools and towels are available 24/7. When we visited average outside temp was 110 degrees. We didn't lay out like lizards during the day and opted for cooler quiet late night relaxing pool time. We had the pools to ourselves and it was so peaceful! The medium size pool that was indoors was the perfect temp for me and I enjoyed it very much! They offer a light breakfast option of healthy cereals, oats, hard boiled eggs, toast with juice, tea, or coffee. The resort is very chill and peaceful. We noticed a bachelorette/birthday gathering during our stay. They were a bit loud, slightly obnoxious, but I guess that is what happens when you gather a group of girls for a spa day. The resort also offers day passes to enjoy the hot springs. We were surprised one morning to find guests outside our room already sprawled out on the chaise lounge chairs. We didn't mind since we were going to spend the day out exploring the downtown area. So claim your spots early! The staff is friendly and helpful. The office has items for sale to enhance your stay like mineral soaps, lotions, bath items, and swimwear just in case you forgot to pack them. They have parking right outside of the resort and street parking. The best part for us, they offer electric vehicle charging, a single spot, worked out perfectly for us! Score! 2025: 57

My friend and I were beyond happy with the beautiful and quiet setting. We enjoyed a superbly private stay, as it's off season. Most people come to stay when the weather is cooler. I thoroughly enjoyed the sauna the morning we left, before breakfast. Sweating for 30" is relaxing if you haven't tried it yet. Breakfast options included Avocado, tomato, hard boiled eggs, bagels, croissants, fresh cooked waffles, cold, cereal, yogurt, half-and-half, cream cheese, coffee, tea, and I'm sure more I did not note. We breakfasted I'm a lovely little patio, surrounded by birds and plants. A neighbor cat visited but did not engage. There are daybeds along the pool and a few under the trees in the patio in between the row of rooms. I believe there were a total of 14 rooms. Each room has cool tiled floors and a a fresh king bed. Ours had a lovely bathtub with the hottest shower I think I've ever had. There are imported Italian soap, shampoo, and conditioner (that left my hair looking very pretty). There were two wonderful robes in the boudoir. I wore mine too and fro as I am born to spa and was in seventh heaven. Our room opened up onto a large patio balcony from which we watched the sunrise and the sunset over the valley in front of us. The amenities are open 24 hours. The owner, Mrs C is hospitable and engaging. She has Italian soaps and such for you to purchase, as well as soda pop and wine. Time and money went into planning this spa. First of all the owner's name is Camillia and she is actually the person working the desk. The property is absolutely beautiful and well cared for. A big plus is that the jacuzzis and pool are open 24 hours. They have a semi-indoor hot spring jacuzzi that is very large and has a really nice ambiance (especially at night) with the lanterns on the wall. They also have another hot spring jacuzzi outdoors by the pool and it is amazing to soak in this jacuzzi and watch the sun set over the mountains across the valley - Truly a million dollar view! Their pool is luke-warm and so nice to take a dip after soaking in the jacuzzis. And if you plan on spending the day on their pool deck they have lots of nice cushioned pool lounge chairs and 5 outdoor beds. There are also tables you can sit at and have a meal or play games, etc. Our room was very comfortable and luxurious. I love the dark wood, heavy curtains and Italian tile! The bed was very comfortable and we slept great. Tip: they have a couple of rooms that have private outdoor patios overlooking the valley and mountains but they don't offer these rooms on Priceline, Expedia or other travel service. Camellia said they only book these rooms directly from the hotel website or by calling. They also have a nice area for massages & treatments. We didn't get any treatments but I believe they have independent massage therapists come in when you book treatment. But it is a really nice spa / treatment area that rivals some of the best spas I've been to.
