After a long flight travels I was in desperate need of a massage. I called and they were willing to accommodate a late night appointment. but unfortunately I had issues getting a rental car that didn't have problems. I missed the appointment. however, when i was able to go finally go Monday, the ladies were still accommodating and nice. The pressure was deep which I love. She kept asking me if the pressure was too much or if I wanted her to go softer which means she really cares whether or not you are comfortable. She found some significant knots that probably can't be worked out in just one session but she did a great job releasing many of them. I paid almost double for a deep tissue massage for an hour and 30 minutes and it literally felt like someone was putting sunblock on my back. The lady was very kind and sweet, but she just was not a deep tissue Massage Therapist and I totally got ripped off. I also upgraded for a scrub and the scrub was not an actual scrub because I did not feel a thing. I don't know what they were using, but it must've been like shower gel or something because there was definitely no salt to be felt. My room was very cold! Felt like I was in a morgue. And due to the pressure, not being anywhere close to deep tissue or even medium tissue... My body was unable to warm up. Unfortunately, as close as this place is to me, I will never come back here again.Total rip off. read more

Great massage! Best massage I've ever gotten. We got a 1/2 hour foot massage with an hour and 1/2 body massage, and it did not disappoint. We added on the extras like the body scrub, eye mask, and essential oils, and it was worth every penny. If you're in the Palm Springs area, go to RuYi to get a massage! Better than any hotel massage. This is a part two to my first review. After a not so great first go, the owner reached out to me in attempt to make things right. She offered me a complimentary 90 minutes massage, same as my previous service, which was beyond kind of her. Some business owners wouldn't go that far. I went in for my appointment and was greeted by Jessie, I assume the owner, who was delightful. Not long after I was placed in my room, Monica came in. Monica was AMAZING! Perfect pressure, smooth and continuous moments from place to place, and when I needed a little extra work in some areas (mainly my shoulders and upper back) she spent additional time making sure kinks were worked out. She also did some stretching with me which the previous person had not. This was beyond exceptional! Mind you, this was no easy feat... I'm 6'4" and about 220, so she had her work cut out for her. But she did it with ease and seemingly without struggle. 100/10 stars if I could. Both Monica and Jessie made this appointment for me. I will be back and most definitely will see Monica again. 3 of us went in for an impromptu mass a ge on a Saturday with short notice. They were able to accommodate quite easily. Super nice people inside. They gave us each little cookies and treats when we were done, with a small bottle of water. The massages were pretty good. Each person has a differing view of how they liked theirs, but it's all personal preference. Sometimes you get a masseuse that rubs a little too hard... but you have to tell them. In our case, when that happened, they responded and adjusted pressure immediately. I would recommend. Price and friendliness were both good. Massage rated 7/10. read more

Helen and Anna (and the sweet woman at the registration desk) were all lovely and so kind. I've been here about 8 times over the past year and a half and have finally gotten around to writing a review. The massages have always been great. The therapists always pick up on the tightness in my shoulders and lower back, especially around my hips (wow). Its not a "custom" massage place; if you're looking for specifics, this might not be a good choice. They all seem to follow a general routine that is slightly different with each therapist. But, every time, my therapist has picked up on how sensitive my thighs are to pressure and refrained from that, so just communicate. My last visit was 90 minutes and that time went by fast for me. The online scheduling is so convenient to me because I honestly hate having to talk and book stuff over a phone call. I've been to about 10 different massage places/spas in the Coachella Valley and a few of them are on par with Ruyi (based on my one or two visits), but the reason I keep booking this place is because of the prices, online booking, the location is convenient to me, and I've never had a bad experience here. read more
