Saw this on Groupon and gave it a try, I get massages often all over the US travelling for work. This was a standard massage I did an hour with hot stones - Worth it! Simple set up but relaxing environment non the less. I came in sore and left almost stumbling I was so relaxed! I would recommend this place and it's in a strip mall to get some errands done as well. Whoever left the one star saying they got "karate chopped" this is a standard practice for blood flow, calm down Karen. Yes there was a language barrier, but nothing we couldn't overcome as I had a sizable burn on my forearm and the masseuse was very accommodating and caring to that region. 5 stars through and through! read more

I've been to this place several times, I've had good experiences until yesterday, also it's bummy everytime I find a good Masseuse there and I come back for them "they no longer work there" I wonder why that is. So, I got sent home from work early and I've been in need of a massage so I decided to head over to zen spa, I understand it was getting close to their closing time but the woman masseuse was extremely rude from the start, she was so rough on me that I had the urge to get up and leave the first few minutes but I was a bit embarrassed on how to approach that. She wasn't using oil the first five minutes and was being so rough on me that I felt my skin burning from the friction, also she didn't have her nails cut so she kept scratching me. I asked if she was going to use oil so she did use oil on me afterwards but it was excessive, I'm an esthetician so I know the massage movements and rhythm and she didn't know what she was doing at all. The whole hour I only felt effleurage and tapotement when finishing, also she kept getting too close to my intimate parts and it did make me a bit nervous. I found it a bit gross to get too close to my rectum and afterwards do facial massage, I was very anxious the whole session and couldn't enjoy the massage due to this unprofessional behavior, it felt like she didn't want to service me or was upset to have gotten a service the last hour of closing which I can understand but also being in the service industry I wouldn't ever make anyone feel like an inconvenience and revenge it through the service for coming in towards the end of the shift, at the end of the day you are getting paid for the service and gratitudes so I don't understand where this attitude came from, I didn't want to write a review but I woke up so sore and my back is hurting more than before so I ended up paying for a service that rather than make me feel better has left me worst. If I could give zero stars, I would. I booked a couple's massage over the weekend for my fiancée's birthday, hoping it would help her relax since she deals with constant back pain from work. Instead, it turned into one of the worst experiences we've ever had at a spa. Neither massage therapist spoke English, so we couldn't communicate anything beyond pointing to where we felt pain. Even then, the massage was the complete opposite of relaxing. My fiancée said it was so rough she wanted to cry the entire time. I have no idea what kind of "relaxing" massage involves slapping, karate‑chopping, and stretching us like we were in a yoga class. At one point it felt like someone was on all fours karate‑chopping my upper back. We walked in hoping to feel better. We walked out in more pain than we started with. The massage was literally 120 minutes as advertised for $140 I believe but don't quote me, check the website.
