I am not one for a negative review, but this place fooled me by the reviews. My friend and I went here for massages and pedis before a wedding. Upon walking in the vibe was weird, it was not as big and clean as the Yelp pictures made it look. We established in the beginning that I had gel on my nails and they don't do gel, so the woman told me my toes looked fine, or "not so bad", then We were taken to the back for our massages...well let's just say I almost turned and walked out, but didn't want to ruin the experience for my friend. Instead of changing sheets between clients they just pull paper over the table like at the doctors office...well of course I took my phone flash light and lifted the paper, Only to find all kinds of little hairs that did not belong to me. I blew the table off, sprayed sanitizer, and sucked it up. The massage wasn't bad, but hard to relax when you're actively making sure not to touch anything but the paper on the table. My friends pedicure was the worst she's ever gotten, I think it took her 10 minutes. On a positive, when she flipped me over she did give me a wonderful sinus massage! That helped me relax. Maybe go for reflexology if you're in town, but I wouldn't be getting naked there lol! read more

At $70 for an hour it's an affordable option, but I've had noticeably better reflexology experiences elsewhere for a similar price. Not bad, but nothing I'd rush back for. This place could use a refresh. The space felt a bit cramped and worn down -- as my mom would say, it looks "tired." The bathroom had things taped up and covered, which didn't inspire confidence. The rooms also have open ceilings, so if your session starts before the top of the hour, you'll hear other guests getting their instructions and shuffling into their rooms -- not exactly relaxing. read more

The massage itself was great. They fit me and my 3 friends in to do a massage together. The only thing I would go in knowing is the walls are very thin and you can hear others talking in the street and employees in the shop, Our masseuse's also talked to each other during the massages every once in awhile so it's not super quiet. Disappointing third visit--wish I'd gotten the same therapist as before This was my third time at Beautiful Spa, and unfortunately, it was a major letdown. My first two visits were great--I was lucky enough to have David both times. This time, I was booked with John, and the experience couldn't have been more different. John's deep tissue massage was, frankly, terrible. There were several moments when I wanted to ask him to stop or question what he was doing. He spent time on repetitive movements in areas where I had no tension or knots, and the whole massage felt clunky and rigid. I hate to say it, but this might be the worst massage I've ever received. I'm really disappointed that I spent money on a 90-minute session that left me feeling worse than when I walked in. I was hoping for consistency based on my past positive experiences, but this fell completely short. I'd appreciate it if someone from management could contact me to discuss this. read more

I wanted to love this place since it had so many good reviews. Came here for a 30 minute reflexology massage and it was not good. No pressure, just the same motions back and forth over and offer again. I almost got up and left a few minutes in but hoped it would improve. Maybe I just got the wrong person? It was also pure chaos in the main room where the massage was with phones ringing, people speaking across the room to each other, customers coming in and out. Not a relaxing environment. Massage itself was pretty good, so no bad rep to the masseuses. Upon paying $140 for two people ($70 each), I gave them $20 ($10 each) tip. The lady upfront said, no we need tip of $20. Did a couples massage here and it was great. It can be a little off putting as it's not some high end spa but the service was great and the therapists were knowledgeable. Some language barriers made some things difficult but nothing we couldn't work past. We did the 1 hour full body and added on the cbd. Parking wasn't bad and it was easy to locate. Looking forward to going back next time I am in town. You definitely leave feeling refreshed and money well spent. read more

Hooboy. If my sister was filling this out, it would be a five. I was in Palm Springs for a conference and she came in from San Francisco to join me. We booked a 60 minute combo with a 30 minute foot reflexology session and mani/pedis. We went into a room with 3 tables for the massage and foot treatment. I had a taller, dark haired woman wearing her long hair up. My sister got a young man. From the jump, my sister was groaning with pleasure and her table squeaked from the pressure applied which she requested. Mine started out ok but the pressure deteriorated pretty quickly even though I asked twice for more. She was rough and jumped all over the place leaving areas out. As we progressed, the pressure diminished to literally a light repeated motion while working on my head and neck behind me. She left twice. The second time was to come back with a lukewarm towel. I was told to turn over: no draping to obstruct the view from the other table. A hard yank to the table to gain access to my feet where the real fun began. She literally leaned against the wall, used one hand to touch my foot and her eyes flitted from the clock to being closed. Ah ha. That was what was happening. She was literally falling asleep. I have never ended a massage early but it was so bad I asked her to please just finish. I had to ask twice. Meantime, my sister in her nirvana has this guy in a chair at the bottom of her table putting so much effort and focus. I laid there until he was done. She was completely unaware but pretty upset. Mani/pedi? She sat down, hot water, technician engaged and responsive. I sat down, a man filled the tub with lukewarm almost cold water and I sat there for 15-20 minutes. I finally said that I wanted my sister to enjoy her mani/pedi but I was going to cancel mine and walk around the block. I was upset. I should have stopped the massage much earlier - I thought it would get better and I didn't want to be that woman karenjng out on someone offering a service. I was so disappointed that I came away more tense than when I arrived with scraggly fingernails and aching feet from being at a pretty intense conference for 3 days. One bad apple. I really believe that's the case. Everyone else was kind and thoughtful. But one person can destroy your reputation. Things happen, I get it. But falling asleep while performing a service? Girl should have asked someone to take over and all the awkwardness and upset would have been avoided. And I paid the bill since my sister's card wasn't working due to another issue. In town for a conference and it's hot and I'm cranky... and my back aches! Fortunately I stumbled upon Beautiful Spa, with air conditioning and cold water and moderately comfortable tables. (I'm a tall guy and lying face down is always a challenge of squishing my throat or my forehead on a bar.) Mark hit all the right spots and as I write this review, my back ache is in the past. He seemed to intuitively focus on the most painful parts. Now if he could please do something about the super hot weather, or my cranky attitude... (teasing). It was a nice experience, but odd that I'd have to write a review in their presence in order to honor the Yelp check-in coupon. But this is me shrugging my very relaxed shoulders and acknowledging an otherwise very pleasant massage. read more

Came here back in April. The massage was decent. I've had better but it wasn't awful. My husband and I got a couples massage. What really put me off was I felt like they nearly held us hostage until we wrote a 5 star Yelp review in front of them and didn't let us leave until they saw I submitted the review. They also said "write us a 5 star review and we will give you a gift." The gifts were these little keychain things. Well, since they we have two kids at home and we got a massage for two people, we assumed that we could take two keychains. But the man then barked "ONLY ONE KEYCHAIN" and snatched it out of my husbands hands. Maybe it was a language barrier but the experience was bizarre to say the least. And I generally don't trust establishments that coerce their customers to write 5 star reviews. I deleted my fake review the minute I walked out of there. read more
