Located near Bristol Farms, in Palm Desert. This place opened in September of 2022. Very clean and bright when you walk in (always a good sign). Friendly gentleman greeted me and once I chose my treatment, a woman showed me to my room. I am female, so I was glad that my Therapist was also female. The treatment rooms are painted a shade of dark gray and calmly lit. I did need to request that they make the room warmer, the A/C was blowing pretty cold. They did so right away; no problem. They give you a small towel to cover yourself during the massage. I have been to other similar places that also do this, and it's not my favorite. I'd rather a sheet, which covers your entire body. So I just asked for one more towel so I was a bit more covered. Again, no problem. I had a 60 minute massage and it was good. I said I like deep pressure and that is what I got. She really tried to work out the knots in my neck and back. I was surprised that there was no music during the massage, but about halfway through my hour some relaxing music did come on from somewhere. I happen to like Spa music during a massage, and feel that it adds to the experience. They had only been open about a week, so I am sure they are working out their routine. At the end, when I went to pay, they asked me to put my phone number in an iPad if I wanted to "Spin" an electronic wheel on the IPad for a chance to "win" different prizes/discounts on todays service (i.e. 10% off, $5 off, etc). I did, and the wheel landed on $10 off! I was thrilled. Plus, they gave me a Loyalty card which gives you your 7th service free. Most spas make you go 10 times and 11th is free. So I like the quicker reward they offer here. It's a clean, friendly new local place for a massage. Plenty of parking, and I walked in with no appointment. read more

Hubby found this spa and we got the 60 minute couples massage. He likes medium pressure, I like medium to hard/deep pressure. My gal was working front desk as well, but she had great technique and my lower back knots and stressed neck was massaged out. Soft relaxing music, dim lighting added to the calming and spa-like ambiance. Costs are very reasonable and the therapists are very good here, we will be back. read more

I had a 30 minute chair massage and I know that the masseuse tried very hard and I feel bad but I didn't like the way she massaged me. I get massage very often because of my chronic pain on my neck and shoulders and I know what good one feels like. Unfortunately I kept looking at my watch hoping to end soon. read more

WORST place ever! I really believe their 4.5 stars are not real. Or if they are they are not based on a massage must be based on something else and other services they may offer that may be illegal because massage services are not it. Saw one of the other rooms and there was a shower in the room with a bed, does not sound like a normal massage plMe & my husband got there with no pain and left with pain. We are very disappointed. To finish it off, she demanded a tip which tip is optional based on the service and she demanded one. Not okay. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

I was visiting family and found this great spa! Usually, massages in the desert are very pricey for a good therapist, however, Summer Spa was very affordable and I was able to get a 90 minute massage for a great price. My therapist was Crystal and she was very nice and a good therapist. The facility is clean, welcoming, and relaxing. I will definitely be back! read more
