We get massages on a monthly basis and have done so for years, so we are quite picky. Both of our massages at Lily Massage in Cathedral City were EXCELLENT! The entry inside of the place was clean. The massage rooms, sheets, face donut, etc. were also very clean. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Hot stones and oils were included in both of our massages. We highly recommend this place and plan on returning as soon as we can. We are from out of town, about an hour west of the desert area, but would absolutely drive the distance to have a massage here again. My masseuse was named "Neil". He gave a great strong deep tissue massage (at my request). Prices were totally affordable, especially for a resort area. I think each of our massages were about $85 for 90 minutes. Highly recommend Lily Massage in Cathedral City, Ca.

The other day I took my mother and my fiancé for massages, and we were all excited. Unfortunately, none of us had a good experience. One of the first things I noticed was that the staff didn't seem to understand English. I politely asked several times if they could please close the door because I could hear people talking outside, and I felt extremely uncomfortable since I was undressed and worried someone could walk by. No one responded or seemed to understand my request. The massage itself was one of the worst I've ever had. It honestly felt like the therapist was inexperienced and didn't know what they were doing. Instead of feeling relaxed, I was uncomfortable the entire time. To make matters worse, the therapist giving me my massage passed gas during the session, and his stomach kept growling loudly. The smell lingered in the room and completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing experience. It was incredibly distracting, unprofessional, and honestly disgusting. My mother and my fiancé were also disappointed with their massages, so unfortunately it wasn't just my experience. We all left feeling like we had wasted our money. For the prices they charge, I expected a much higher level of professionalism and quality. I would not return or recommend this place based on our experience.

I was initially told that the additional 20 minutes would be $20, but I was ultimately charged $30 more. I also felt pressured to leave a tip, which was uncomfortable, especially given the overall experience. As for the massage itself, it wasn't what I expected. Instead of applying much pressure or working out tension, it felt like mostly light rubbing. During the additional 20 minutes, she worked on my neck and back, but I didn't feel like the service was worth the extra charge. I woke up today with significant soreness and pain in my neck, which was concerning. Overall, I left feeling disappointed with both the service and the way the additional charges and tip were handled. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.
