This was the BEST MASSAGE EXPERIENCE I've ever had in my life. I came in with major stress in my shoulders and several knots, and Tom completely worked them out. His knowledge of how the body works really shows - thanks to his degree in Kinesiology and Certification as a massage therapist. The session began with a heating pad (a first for me), and for the next hour, Tom focused on bringing my body back to balance. I left feeling renewed in mind, body, and spirit. And for that I truly am grateful. The entire space was spotless - from the massage room to the restrooms - which made the experience even more relaxing. The front office is excellent as well. Thank you Kelly for going above and beyond by returning my call on Tuesday to set up my appointment. See, they were closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but for the high season which starts today, October 27, 2025, they are now open 7 days a week. I really needed a massage and took a chance on this place, I'm from San Diego. I was pleasantly surprised they offered deep tissue massage. I've found plenty of therapists who don't want to work that hard. So you never know. My one star rating isn't exactly fair because I never made it into the office, however, I'm leaving a review in case someone else reading this finds it useful, as I would have. I called to make an appointment, Kelly seemed warm and kind and I was happy to book a prenatal massage. Here's the heads up, though--a nasal swab is needed, or vaccination, and it's required to wear a mask during the massage. This sounded uncomfortable(and not very relaxing) for a few reasons, even though she insisted that since I'd be on my side during the prenatal massage, "It's the same as wearing a mask any other time". Well, when you work from home and haven't been required to wear a mask in many months, including during travel, with the exception of medical offices, it's hard to go back. I've had the good fortune of experiencing some of the best of the best massage therapy locations all over the globe - from world class five star resorts to renowned eastern medicine healers. Yet the massage I had over the weekend from Joshua was the single best, yes BEST massage of my life. My friend who came with me agreed that hers was also one of the best of her life too. When it comes to massage I am finicky. I prefer a strong massage but don't like to be wincing throughout, and I usually come out bruised at the end. The technique they use here is a bit unique as it is firm, always moving, never really hurts at all, yet every single knot gets worked out, and your body is totally stretched out by the end. I was so completely relaxed that I actually fell asleep on the table, something I never do. These guys are pros. The facility is clean, nice, easy parking, fair prices for a real massage. Sure if you want a $50 massage you can find one in the valley - but it's not going to heal you. This is therapy. This is the real McCoy. Can't wait to go back. Thanks to a great team! read more

I was very skeptical about going off our resort and getting a massage, let alone, getting a prenatal massage where I had to be on my side. I am so glad I still committed to All About Massage because I received the best massage of my life. Request Gala! She was an absolute pleasure to work with and used a large variety of movements and techniques to make my pregnant little body feel so relaxed and stress-free. She even incorporated some reflexology to help loosen my shoulders. For the prenatal massage, I started off on my side, but I was able to clutch a full body pillow and wrap my leg around it which was extremely comfortable. Because I'm only 19 weeks, I was also able to lie on my back for the rest of the massage. Part way through, I started laughing because the little babe inside of me was doing rolls and we were able to feel her sticking out of the side of my stomach. She was clearly enjoying mom being so relaxed for the first time all pregnancy. All in all, I will come back to All About Massage every time we come back to visit Palm Desert because it was worth every penny! read more

Three of us had a 90 minute massage, and this review reflects the experience of one of us (IG): I had an extremely suboptimal experience with a 90 minute massage at All About Massage. During the massage, I had the feeling that I was going to be injured and need to go to the emergency room as my friend a neurosurgeon had told me happens to people who are handled poorly in massage treatments. But since the professionals at All About Massage were represented to me as highly qualified and experienced, and because All About Massage also has gotten rave reviews on Yelp etc, I assumed that my discomfort did not represent anything ultimately harmful but would, on the contrary, be beneficial to my health. Much to my dismay, I have had neck pain and inability to do my usual functions with my neck ever since I had the massage 10 days ago. Not what I expected, not what I paid for and just plain NOT GOOD. One evening I tweaked my back (I don't believe it was related to tennis) and decided to look for a massage facility to help my achy mid-back. Yelp led me to All About Massage and I was able to book a 1 hour massage with Masaru. All I can say is I wished I were able to book 1 1/2 hours (they were pretty busy and I was fortunate even to get in on short notice)! We spent some time talking about my injury as well as my stress areas before we started... Masaru had the right amount of pressure (I'm used to deep tissue) and addressed the areas which needed loosening up. I booked an appointment two days before my wedding here and was not disappointed! I believe my masseuse's name was Brianna. I originally asked for deep tissue because I don't feel anything with regular massages typically. Brianna verified with me before starting that that was what I wanted. She reminded me kindly that I will feel sore afterwards. I decided to tell her to still give me deep tissue but maybe not AS deep since I need to walk down the aisle in two days. Got the couples 1 hour massage. We "Checked in" with Yelp and each got a free upgrade to "hot stones". 1 hour massage costs $95.00 + tip. Our massage techs were "Victoria" and "Gala". They were awesome and really took care of us. The massage itself was designated as "therapeutic massage" so I don't know which type of massage we actually received. The massage was probably a medium on the massage scale. My wife and I are a little sore, but feel great. The hot stones were a first for both of us. Did not make our massages any better or worse. Basically, when they are massaging your back, they put hot stones in the palms of their hands as they are massaging you. Receptionist was friendly and very helpful. When we were making our reservation, we were not sure of what we wanted and the receptionist was very helpful and patient. We would definitely go again for another massage. read more

I came in for a series of 6 prenatal massages. Sandy was such a blessing of a massage therapist! I came in with my hips and lower back in serious pregnancy pain to the extent that I couldn't even sleep. Not only did the massage itself feel amazing, but the pain steadily decreased and I could sleep again! Sandy has a great intuition for where to massage. She seems to know exactly where the stiffness is and work on it in the perfect way -- where you feel the knot working out but without too much pain. Not only that, but both Sandy and the entire front desk staff was so kind and sweet. They were always checking in on my progress and the baby and seemed to share my excitement for this exciting phase! The gal that answered the phone was whispering I said a number of time that I was unable to hear her even called back cause I thought it might be the connection. She wouldn't speak up and acted as if I was a bother. I asked if the credit card was necessary because I didn't feel comfortable and I Am a local resident and she basically hung up.
