Sunstone is of the best Spas I've been to in a long time! It's on the side of the valet parking for the casino and the front entrance is a little hidden. When you first walk in, the entrance is a little store. They have a lot of cute merchandise from spa essentials to knickknacks. I came in with my boyfriend to relax while we were in Palm Springs. Originally we were looking for a spa we could've enjoyed together. There was a co-ed outdoor pool and lounge room, but there really wasn't much we could do together. Nonetheless, we did have a really good time on our own. We both enjoyed the whirlpool, sauna, eucalyptus steam room, and all the amenities! The gender separated part of the spa is clothes optional. It was extremely relaxing and the girls working there were so helpful and friendly. We started our spa day around 4PM and they close at 7PM. I wish we could've stayed longer! read more

Staff and facilities were phenomenal. Went for a girls day for my mothers birthday, and she was so impressed. We had four different masseuses, not one of them was bad. I personally saw Natalie and she did in awesome job with the deep tissue massage. All the staff at the pool were accommodating and friendly. Jamie, Francisca, and Alec took care of us all day. Hands down the best spa experience I've ever been to! The only problem I had was getting there because the GPS took me to the wrong location so be sure to go to the casino valet and the spa is to the left of valet. You can self park if you want but valet is free and you can tip them what you want. From the moment we entered, we were kindly greeted by the front desk and we had concierge escort us inside who guided us throughout the whole process (*side note: remember their name and tip them specifically when you check out. They deserve it too!). We arrived an hour before our services to enjoy the spa, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, swimming pool. The wait room for your service is an experience too because you use gravity chairs which has ability to heat up and massage you. We booked a mud wrap treatment which was first time for me to experience something like this. Although our treatments were separate rather than together as a couple, I had a special table that used sand covered with cloth that molded with my body shape. I started with mud paste and then LED light chamber was placed over me. I felt slight heat so it wasn't too intense. Afterward, I took a shower in the same room to wash off the mud. During and after the treatment I was given a massage as well which was great! The amenities from the snacks, ordering food, organic tampons/pads/toothbrushes and everything you need for your hair and face was the perfect touch! I really wanted to give this place no stars because of the way I was treated by sang for a manicure, pedicure!! He told me that my finger nails were too small, he complained the whole time when doing my nails. He kept asking me "have I ever gotten my nails done with gel before" and I responded with yes I get them done and nobody has ever had an issue. He then continued to say that its difficult with my tinier nails...( don't they do children's nails too??? they are small also) overall just bad and not to mention I get home and my polish on my toes are falling off along with my nails look bad with all the amount of cuticles that he tried to cut off. not worth 160 dollars thats for sure. Sang is horrible do not go to this place not worth it!!! Oh and not to mention that I practically got my legs burned by the stuff he was using it hurt so badly. read more

My friend and I booked services at the spa and had a wonderful experience. Miriam provided my massage and Tomas performed my friend's. We both agreed that this was one of the best massages we've ever had. The salt scrub was amazing and we left feeling so soft and relaxed. I was surprised how nice the facilities were! There was a variety of amenities, and the staff were impressive from check in to check out. This is a great spa for going with friends or a co-ed group, as there's lots of space to mingle. If you're looking for a silent or even quiet spa environment, this isn't it! That said, I enjoyed my facial and appreciated that the esthetician did no upselling. Technically I don't feel it did much for my skin, which might have been less about the esthetician, and more the quality of products used. I was at he spa celebrating my son's fiancés upcoming wedding. our party of four enjoyed the eucalyptus steam room and salt bath before our selected treatments. The Desert Rain massage and Blue sage mud wrap were therapeutic, calming and amazing ! And they come highly recommended. The back of body massage wasn't worth the time or money. the treatment was a light 15 min. rub on my lower back. The last 15 min. of the treatment was the Moroccan oil hair enhancement added. Which was mostly the oul rubbed on my hair. Not sure I'd go back? as it was pretty pricey for the mediocre back of body treatment received. Me and my wife went for pedicures and where not all that impressed with the services we received. First (don't order tea, or expect to wait) they started my pedicure about 10min after my wife had already started because the lady was gone getting my tea, so that caused her to rush through my service. Also I asked for a simple clear coat and didn't get anything(which was my whole point for going). On top of that they didn't get us the heated neck wrap till about 15min into the pedicure. The guy that did my wife's toes rushed through her paint and left nail polish all over her toes. Aside from the poor service, the amenities are AMAZING! Planned a last minute spa day for my office. Dulce was the group coordinator and she was fantastic and easy to communicate with to plan our visit for 11 people. Having lived in Los Angeles for many years, I was spoiled by the number of Korean saunas that I could visit. Moving to the Coachella Valley, I thought that I had to give that up. I did, in some respects. I stopped here, in desperation. I am glad I did. A day pass is $30 bucks. In LA, I could get into many places for less than $15. So, this is a bit more than I'm used to paying, but the facility is very nice. You'll have to sign some paperwork before going in. The front of house staff is soft spoken and nice. The guys that work inside are super helpful and friendly. They'll show you around, explain how things work and will offer you hot tea or fruit. The lockers are code-based. Don't forget your code! You'll be given a big towel, slippers, and a robe. There are two big showers. There is another one, but I've never seen anyone use it. Plenty of bath towels, located in the sink, shower, and outdoor areas. There are nice amenities in the sink areas. The spa products (on sale out front) have a grapefruit smell, to me. I like them, as they are invigorating. The steam room has eucalyptus oil in it. It will clear your sinuses! The room has a curvy bench and small tile with dark blues and bronzes. It is lit by a few overhead recessed lights. Walking in, it can be a bit dark, but eyes adjust quickly. Outside the door is a knob that controls the length of time the steam room stays active. There is a thermometer by the door and another a bit higher up, above the bench, immediately to your left. I have never tried the dry sauna, but it has nice light-colored wood and plenty of light. They will put menthol in it, if you request it. Outside there is a private patio. To the left, there is a knob on one of the pergola supports with the timer for the whirlpool spa. The whirlpool seats 6 comfortably. The jets are strong! Around the whirlpool are adjustable recliner lounges. There are towels on stands for you to cover your chair or dry off. There is a laundry basket outside the door, as well. In the hallway, there is a laundry basket, a few lounge chairs and an infused water dispenser. There is a small lounge with recliners and blankets. It has medium light, enough to read one of the many magazines on display, but dim enough to take a nap before a spa service, if you prefer. Clean and modern. You can't go wrong. Why not 5 stars? They do not offer a discount to locals nor memberships. I would likely go more often but the price is a little prohibitive. read more

Started the day with lunch and mojitos poolside - thanks Tommy for being a big contributor to our vibe today, never ran low on cocktails or cold water, great food and stellar service! And then the Spa... hands down best spa experience in the valley. I've been to the upscale resorts- but I keep coming back to Sunstone and Aqua Caliente. Our favorite treatment is the Polished Gem scrub/massage combo - 90 minutes of heaven. Angel took care of me and I felt amazing. The scrub with hot oil is so decadent and my skin never felt softer. The nice ladies at the front desk told me about their day pass, definitely going to need to do that this summer. Every time I go on vacation I look for something like Sunstone and Agua - just a super chill day and great service. You're tough to replicate. Thanks for a wonderful birthday for the Girl Child. It's no wonder this spa is a 5/5 FORBES rating 2022. My husband surprised me with a massage and it did not disappoint. From the moment you walk passed the doors, you immediately smell the eucalyptus and feel the stress and negativity leave your soul. The facility is clean and full of amazing amenities ranging from a eucalyptus steam room, sauna, red bulb room (for an extra cost), jacuzzi, grounding room with warm and vibrating chairs, many snacks and flavored waters throughout the facility, lockers with sandals and robe, great waterfall showers, and co ed leisure rooms. The co ed room leads to the outside pool oasis full of lounge chairs, day beds, jacuzzi, and private area. Food and drinks can be ordered from staff to enjoy outdoors in the pool area as well. Lastly, and most importantly...the massage!! I was provided with an amazing masseuse, Miriam. I highly recommended her as your private masseuse. She provided the best massage this mom of 2 wild boys could ask for. I walked out so relaxed and felt the anxiety and stress of my everyday life of boys leave my body. Booked a Saturday morning massage. Wish we came sooner to enjoy the private pool, sauna and steam room. I was a little confused since normally the front desk gives you the robe/slippers and tour but instead they just sent me to the women's locker room. But there I was greeted by this adorable lady who cut up fruit for me (bananas, oranges & grapes)! I could have stayed in the shower for hours, it was so nice, that Rain Showerhead! Got in my robe, went to the co-ed lounge which is a tad bright, but nice since I could mingle with my honey and watch some soccer. Our treatment was in the couples suite and wow, what a great room. Everyone is extremely friendly and very helpful. We each had a different service and no one was disappointed. When you have a service of $50 or more, you get an all day pass at the Spa The Spa has a steam room, sauna, hot tub, three lounges (men, women, and co-ed) and then it has an outside pool specifically for the Spa. I booked 4 of the exact same massages at the same time during one call. They made a mistake and gave one in our group the wrong massage - 90 minute therapeutic instead of 60 minute swedish. We were searching for our fourth person after we had completed our services and even asked the staff to help us find her.They had no idea where she was and couldn't even tell us if she was still in her massage. They charged $75 more even though that's not what we signed up for and refused any compromise. Not a credit, not a sorry... Just a tough luck. The manager said we had signed a form upon arrival and services had been rendered. We all thought this form was a liability waiver and they didn't ask us to review or confirm the service. They gave us the back of the form and just told us to sign. It's too bad. We all enjoyed our massages and the massage therapists were very good as well as the locker room staff. The day was very relaxing but the ending was very stressful. The management is really the problem when they can't get your services straight, they lose their clients and then blame you. read more

Apparently we were not the first ones to do this either because as soon as we said we were looking for the spa someone asked if we were looking for Sunstone. So, just make sure you are going to the right place! The facilities themselves were pretty cool. They have one jacuzzi tub, a sauna and a steam room. I love that you can order food and have it delivered to you by the pool. I also love those zero gravity chairs in the quiet room. My facial was super relaxing. Beatrice is EVERYTHING. When I made my reservation I was asked if I had a preference of a male or female, I replied with, "as long as the hands are strong, I can careless." Then Beatrice walked into my life. She has been massaging for 30 years and it's clearly her passion. Her one goal is to make sure you leave her better than when you arrived; and she delivers!!! She literally hit spots of tension in my legs that I had no clue even existed. I usually stay in Palm Springs and play at the casino there, but after this spa experience, I think staying in Rancho Mirage and then traveling into Palm Springs at night for dinner is more up my alley. My hubby and I are regulars here! We come here about once a month and we get the 80 min Swedish massage! Miriam, Martha, Jeanne, are all great. The pedicures here are also AMAZING! The 60 minute pedicure with stones are the best ! The best part about this pedicure experience is that there's only 2 chairs, very private and perfect for my hubby and I! I showed up 30 minutes into the detox wrap and I asked if it was possible to reschedule for a later day n time because of my hectic day I wasn't able to make it on time. Been here before but not for a mani pedi. I booked a pedi experience and well, it wasn't. It was just a pedi like normal. Only this one cost $65. I did not get the heated wrap or the stone massage. I wish I could give five stars but I cut the last star due to food. Let's start with one important thing: prices. It's only $40 for a day pass. That to me is worth it there when you want a quick getaway! Then, for $25 more or even $15 depending on th deal at that time, you can add an hour spa pedicure usually infused with something. For the ladies, they have a steam room infused with Eucalyptus and a sauna room. They also have a jacuzzi. The showers are so beautiful. The second thing is that it is very intimate. The capacity for th jacuzzi is only 8 people. So their capacity for the entire spa is very low. They even provide snacks which is another one of my favorites. They have cold face towels infused with Eucalyptus that you can use while in a spa treatment like the sauna. They have bottled water and infused water everywhere. The only thing is food choices. It can be pricey because you have to pay for the hotel delivery fee. I usually go to the Cafe next door. However, they do not have amazing prices and the food is not high quality. But it is good enough to hold you. They also can deliver alcohol to you if you want it. The small beautiful spa is amazing. It's never packed because again, they have a small capacity for each spa treatment. The staff also wait on you. read more
