It is a nice spa to experience . We enjoyed all the amenities. The steam room, sauna, salt chamber, and grounding room were all enjoyable. Our massages were great. They just need to keep up with the cleaning. I was trying to use the bathroom but on the toilet seats either had pee or poo on them. I alerted the staff. I would go again. Everyone was nice. read more

Sunstone is of the best Spas I've been to in a long time! It's on the side of the valet parking for the casino and the front entrance is a little hidden. When you first walk in, the entrance is a little store. They have a lot of cute merchandise from spa essentials to knickknacks. I came in with my boyfriend to relax while we were in Palm Springs. Originally we were looking for a spa we could've enjoyed together. There was a co-ed outdoor pool and lounge room, but there really wasn't much we could do together. Nonetheless, we did have a really good time on our own. We both enjoyed the whirlpool, sauna, eucalyptus steam room, and all the amenities! The gender separated part of the spa is clothes optional. It was extremely relaxing and the girls working there were so helpful and friendly. We started our spa day around 4PM and they close at 7PM. I wish we could've stayed longer! read more

I have spoken with the GM of sunstone and he assured me that this is not how it should be and offered to help compensate another visit to make things right and show my guest and I that they can do things better. I agreed to this and will update this review when that time comes. read more

Staff and facilities were phenomenal. Went for a girls day for my mothers birthday, and she was so impressed. We had four different masseuses, not one of them was bad. I personally saw Natalie and she did in awesome job with the deep tissue massage. All the staff at the pool were accommodating and friendly. Jamie, Francisca, and Alec took care of us all day. Soooooo thankful to have such great people there to spend a wonderful day. If you purchase any service you get to use the private pool and facilities the whole day, worth it! read more

Overall Impression: Very nice size for the property, and very clean. The best feature here is the outdoor jacuzzi and lounge space. I visited in the fall, but I can imagine during the summer it's too hot out there to enjoy. There is a swimsuit dryer if you need it, and a dressing room in the locker area for shy guys. Would give it 4.5 stars if I could. Lack of cold plunge or cold rinse kept it from 5. Additional note - If you are visiting with a female companion, there is also a Co-ed Lounge with recliners, TV and water/fruit. This area leads to an outdoor co-ed pool and patio with more recliners and chairs. Swimsuits required here :) read more

I really wanted to give this place no stars because of the way I was treated by sang for a manicure, pedicure!! He told me that my finger nails were too small, he complained the whole time when doing my nails. He kept asking me "have I ever gotten my nails done with gel before" and I responded with yes I get them done and nobody has ever had an issue. He then continued to say that its difficult with my tinier nails...( don't they do children's nails too??? they are small also) overall just bad and not to mention I get home and my polish on my toes are falling off along with my nails look bad with all the amount of cuticles that he tried to cut off. not worth 160 dollars thats for sure. Sang is horrible do not go to this place not worth it!!! Oh and not to mention that I practically got my legs burned by the stuff he was using it hurt so badly. read more

Hands down the best spa experience I've ever been to! The only problem I had was getting there because the GPS took me to the wrong location so be sure to go to the casino valet and the spa is to the left of valet. You can self park if you want but valet is free and you can tip them what you want. From the moment we entered, we were kindly greeted by the front desk and we had concierge escort us inside who guided us throughout the whole process (*side note: remember their name and tip them specifically when you check out. They deserve it too!). We arrived an hour before our services to enjoy the spa, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, swimming pool. The wait room for your service is an experience too because you use gravity chairs which has ability to heat up and massage you. We booked a mud wrap treatment which was first time for me to experience something like this. Although our treatments were separate rather than together as a couple, I had a special table that used sand covered with cloth that molded with my body shape. I started with mud paste and then LED light chamber was placed over me. I felt slight heat so it wasn't too intense. Afterward, I took a shower in the same room to wash off the mud. During and after the treatment I was given a massage as well which was great! The amenities from the snacks, ordering food, organic tampons/pads/toothbrushes and everything you need for your hair and face was the perfect touch! Even though I lost my credit card, the staff went above and beyond to look for it. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I cannot wait to go again and refer family and friends! read more

Had my first pedicure at sunstone spa today. Jade was wonderful. I highly recommend. The sis itself is wonderful too. Dry sauna, steam room, indoor hot tub. And the showers are great too. Such a relaxing experience. All the staff are friendly and helpful. read more

I was surprised how nice the facilities were! There was a variety of amenities, and the staff were impressive from check in to check out. This is a great spa for going with friends or a co-ed group, as there's lots of space to mingle. If you're looking for a silent or even quiet spa environment, this isn't it! That said, I enjoyed my facial and appreciated that the esthetician did no upselling. Technically I don't feel it did much for my skin, which might have been less about the esthetician, and more the quality of products used. Overall would return with a group and try a massage, but would opt for somewhere a little more peaceful & quiet for myself. read more

My friend and I booked services at the spa and had a wonderful experience. Miriam provided my massage and Tomas performed my friend's. We both agreed that this was one of the best massages we've ever had. The salt scrub was amazing and we left feeling so soft and relaxed. We spent the day using the steam room, sauna, whirlpool, and private pool. We ordered lunch and drinks delivered to the pool. This was the highlight of our girls trip and we'll definitely be back! read more

Me and my wife went for pedicures and where not all that impressed with the services we received. First (don't order tea, or expect to wait) they started my pedicure about 10min after my wife had already started because the lady was gone getting my tea, so that caused her to rush through my service. Also I asked for a simple clear coat and didn't get anything(which was my whole point for going). On top of that they didn't get us the heated neck wrap till about 15min into the pedicure. The guy that did my wife's toes rushed through her paint and left nail polish all over her toes. Aside from the poor service, the amenities are AMAZING! The people that work there are amazing and helpful. The steam rooms are the best. read more

Planned a last minute spa day for my office. Dulce was the group coordinator and she was fantastic and easy to communicate with to plan our visit for 11 people. Spa was nice, clean, and had COVID protocols. We would definitely come back. We have done spa days before at other locations but everyone agrees that this spa is our favorite so far. Everyone enjoyed their massage and felt well taken care of during our visit. read more

Having lived in Los Angeles for many years, I was spoiled by the number of Korean saunas that I could visit. Moving to the Coachella Valley, I thought that I had to give that up. I did, in some respects. I stopped here, in desperation. I am glad I did. A day pass is $30 bucks. In LA, I could get into many places for less than $15. So, this is a bit more than I'm used to paying, but the facility is very nice. You'll have to sign some paperwork before going in. The front of house staff is soft spoken and nice. The guys that work inside are super helpful and friendly. They'll show you around, explain how things work and will offer you hot tea or fruit. The lockers are code-based. Don't forget your code! You'll be given a big towel, slippers, and a robe. There are two big showers. There is another one, but I've never seen anyone use it. Plenty of bath towels, located in the sink, shower, and outdoor areas. There are nice amenities in the sink areas. The spa products (on sale out front) have a grapefruit smell, to me. I like them, as they are invigorating. The steam room has eucalyptus oil in it. It will clear your sinuses! The room has a curvy bench and small tile with dark blues and bronzes. It is lit by a few overhead recessed lights. Walking in, it can be a bit dark, but eyes adjust quickly. Outside the door is a knob that controls the length of time the steam room stays active. There is a thermometer by the door and another a bit higher up, above the bench, immediately to your left. I have never tried the dry sauna, but it has nice light-colored wood and plenty of light. They will put menthol in it, if you request it. Outside there is a private patio. To the left, there is a knob on one of the pergola supports with the timer for the whirlpool spa. The whirlpool seats 6 comfortably. The jets are strong! Around the whirlpool are adjustable recliner lounges. There are towels on stands for you to cover your chair or dry off. There is a laundry basket outside the door, as well. In the hallway, there is a laundry basket, a few lounge chairs and an infused water dispenser. There is a small lounge with recliners and blankets. It has medium light, enough to read one of the many magazines on display, but dim enough to take a nap before a spa service, if you prefer. Clean and modern. You can't go wrong. Why not 5 stars? They do not offer a discount to locals nor memberships. I would likely go more often but the price is a little prohibitive. read more

Just had an amazing Spa Day with the Girl Child - best day ever! Started the day with lunch and mojitos poolside - thanks Tommy for being a big contributor to our vibe today, never ran low on cocktails or cold water, great food and stellar service! And then the Spa... hands down best spa experience in the valley. I've been to the upscale resorts- but I keep coming back to Sunstone and Aqua Caliente. Our favorite treatment is the Polished Gem scrub/massage combo - 90 minutes of heaven. Angel took care of me and I felt amazing. The scrub with hot oil is so decadent and my skin never felt softer. The nice ladies at the front desk told me about their day pass, definitely going to need to do that this summer. Every time I go on vacation I look for something like Sunstone and Agua - just a super chill day and great service. You're tough to replicate. Thanks for a wonderful birthday for the Girl Child. The only bummer of the day was we had to pay extra for a pool pass, although spending a small fortune at the Spa. read more

Quick update.. the polish on my mani did chip the next day. Just an FYI, not really a ding to their services, since the facility products may be decided by someone higher up. But then also, I'm not the most careful person. So it can be a combo of things. read more

upon arriving the spa is calm and beautiful and the hostess very accommodating and kind. I was at he spa celebrating my son's fiancés upcoming wedding. our party of four enjoyed the eucalyptus steam room and salt bath before our selected treatments. The Desert Rain massage and Blue sage mud wrap were therapeutic, calming and amazing ! And they come highly recommended. The back of body massage wasn't worth the time or money. the treatment was a light 15 min. rub on my lower back. The last 15 min. of the treatment was the Moroccan oil hair enhancement added. Which was mostly the oul rubbed on my hair. Not sure I'd go back? as it was pretty pricey for the mediocre back of body treatment received. On another note... the food ordered poolside was delicious with huge portions being served. read more

Booked a Saturday morning massage. Wish we came sooner to enjoy the private pool, sauna and steam room. I was a little confused since normally the front desk gives you the robe/slippers and tour but instead they just sent me to the women's locker room. But there I was greeted by this adorable lady who cut up fruit for me (bananas, oranges & grapes)! I could have stayed in the shower for hours, it was so nice, that Rain Showerhead! Got in my robe, went to the co-ed lounge which is a tad bright, but nice since I could mingle with my honey and watch some soccer. Our treatment was in the couples suite and wow, what a great room. The package had a soak and a massage. There's a giant shower in the couples room and a big tub with colored lights like a limo! Hahaha! We had a great time here, and I will definitely be returning. Free Valet and great cancellation policy of 4 hours before treatment. read more

Awesome! Loved it! Very new, very clean and very tranquil. The staff is helpful, warm and welcoming. They cut up my fruit for me while I waited in the relaxation room for my masseuse. Mom and I came here from the P.S. condo for their weekday 50 minute, $89 massage special, and am I glad we did! It was a really nice spa. I'm a spa snob and wasn't expecting much from a brown town casino, but it totally takes you away. Dee was my therapist and did a wonderful job on my relaxation needs! Mom gave the same outstanding review to Sam who worked on her. The spa area itself is SUPER clean and well attended. Cold spa water, wash cloths for the steam room, hot sauna, gorgeous private showers, all the ammenities I've grown to expect. They even gave me a birthday gift! I will definetely go back when we go back to P.S. The spa even has a nice, private outdoor pool area where you can order food! spoiled, spoiled, spoiled! be sure to check out the Grand Palm Buffet for the Cioppino and a salad (only get that!!) after your treatment. A great lunch of crab and shrimp with an ice tea for $12 for lunch! Do it!!! read more

My friends and I recently visited the Sunstone Spa which is attached to the Aqua Caliente Casino Resort Spa. It was amazing!!! The service is top notch. Everyone is extremely friendly and very helpful. We each had a different service and no one was disappointed. When you have a service of $50 or more, you get an all day pass at the Spa The Spa has a steam room, sauna, hot tub, three lounges (men, women, and co-ed) and then it has an outside pool specifically for the Spa. This area is the best Gem of the whole Spa. There are numerous chairs and lounges to sit in, great towels, and room service. Yep, room service by the pool. I've been to the spa three times and I've never been disappointed. Sent from my iPad read more

We come to Sunstone Spa on nearly every trip and in fact, a friend goes more frequently than I do (because she goes to Palm Desert more often). The staff here are always at the top of their game, professional, courteous and friendly. The spa is consistently clean and well taken care of - which is awesome. Get your fluffy rob and slippers -- be prepared to relax and enjoy. The prices are fair for a hotel spa, but totally doable as a regular treat!! Yay!! read more

This spa is full of it. I've tried to book my appointment to use an offer the casino offered for $300 to spend on the spa. When I called in to book the service the salon took my appointment. As soon as I told them I was using a Spa credit on the casino offer, they told me they could not book my appointment until a different 2 weeks later. They made it inconvenient for me. If the salon didn't want to do the promotion with the casino, they shouldn't sign up for it. But don't make it a hassle and inconvenience for players to book the appointment. read more

Love this easily accessible Spa at the Agua Caliente Casino. Separate 10,000 sf freestanding facility; detached from Casino (so you don't have to get smoked out on the way in). A plethora of sitting areas (with plenty of magazines to peruse). Fabulous indoor Jacuzzi and sauna's. Amazing services (separate facilities for men too). The special touch is the co-ed outside pool and lounge chairs. Delightful experience all the way around. Highly recommended when in Rancho Mirage. read more

Clarissa gave me the best deep tissue massage. Wonderful experience and highly recommended.

It's no wonder this spa is a 5/5 FORBES rating 2022. My husband surprised me with a massage and it did not disappoint. From the moment you walk passed the doors, you immediately smell the eucalyptus and feel the stress and negativity leave your soul. The facility is clean and full of amazing amenities ranging from a eucalyptus steam room, sauna, red bulb room (for an extra cost), jacuzzi, grounding room with warm and vibrating chairs, many snacks and flavored waters throughout the facility, lockers with sandals and robe, great waterfall showers, and co ed leisure rooms. The co ed room leads to the outside pool oasis full of lounge chairs, day beds, jacuzzi, and private area. Food and drinks can be ordered from staff to enjoy outdoors in the pool area as well. Lastly, and most importantly...the massage!! I was provided with an amazing masseuse, Miriam. I highly recommended her as your private masseuse. She provided the best massage this mom of 2 wild boys could ask for. I walked out so relaxed and felt the anxiety and stress of my everyday life of boys leave my body. I can't recommend this spa anymore. It is a MUST! Thank you to the amazing staff for making this weekend getaway for my husband and I so relaxing. We enjoyed ourselves and will recommend this spa to any and everyone. read more

This was the best spa I've ever been to. There is a private jacuzzi for men as well as a co-ed pool and jacuzzi! I had the most amazing sweat in the steam room and then next door in the sauna. Cold refreshing towels and water are provided. Hairspray, razors, toothpaste, tea, you name it they have it. Everything is provided so that you can have the most relaxing spa day ever. I also had the deep tissue massage with Chris. Wow, I can't even begin to explain how perfect this massage was. I told him I needed a lot of work on my back and he proceeded to spend a majority of the time working out the kinks in my back. Cost: Massage $150 + Tip $80. Worth every penny. Steam Room: 10/10 (Large, Hot, Tons of steam) Sauna: 10/10 Jacuzzi: 10/10 Therapeutic Arnica ( Deep Tissue): 15/10* Chris was my masseuse and he gave me the best massage I've ever had in my life. read more

My girlfriends and I came for a spa day as a part of our girls' weekend. We had a bit of an adventure getting there. So when we were looking for spas in Palm Springs one of my friends said oh look at "sparesortscasino.com" anyway, so we did, and at the bottom of that page was a link to the resort spa and also spa specials at Sunstone. Well, spa resort casino and Sunstone spa are not the same place! They are sister properties. We finally figured that out when that morning we showed up to the Spa Resort Casino and asked about where to find the spa and they said...we don't have one here. Apparently we were not the first ones to do this either because as soon as we said we were looking for the spa someone asked if we were looking for Sunstone. So, just make sure you are going to the right place! The facilities themselves were pretty cool. They have one jacuzzi tub, a sauna and a steam room. I love that you can order food and have it delivered to you by the pool. I also love those zero gravity chairs in the quiet room. My facial was super relaxing. All in all a great place to be! read more

Blame the pandemic & lockdown! Steam and sauna are not open. The HALOTHERAPY treatment day pass for $60 is not worth the time and money! Halotherapy is a scam, not even therapeutic! A 2 stars for the 2 attendants! read more

I booked 4 of the exact same massages at the same time during one call. They made a mistake and gave one in our group the wrong massage - 90 minute therapeutic instead of 60 minute swedish. We were searching for our fourth person after we had completed our services and even asked the staff to help us find her. They had no idea where she was and couldn't even tell us if she was still in her massage. They charged $75 more even though that's not what we signed up for and refused any compromise. Not a credit, not a sorry... Just a tough luck. The manager said we had signed a form upon arrival and services had been rendered. We all thought this form was a liability waiver and they didn't ask us to review or confirm the service. They gave us the back of the form and just told us to sign. It's too bad. We all enjoyed our massages and the massage therapists were very good as well as the locker room staff. The day was very relaxing but the ending was very stressful. The management is really the problem when they can't get your services straight, they lose their clients and then blame you. read more

I absolutely love this place. It's a small spa, but they offer great services. Halotherapy is a must. Zero gravity chairs, dry sauna, and eucalyptus steam room-each these amenities are included with a 60 min service. They also have a pool and jacuzzi. It's definitely a hidden gem. read more

Beatrice is EVERYTHING. When I made my reservation I was asked if I had a preference of a male or female, I replied with, "as long as the hands are strong, I can careless." Then Beatrice walked into my life. She has been massaging for 30 years and it's clearly her passion. Her one goal is to make sure you leave her better than when you arrived; and she delivers!!! She literally hit spots of tension in my legs that I had no clue even existed. I usually stay in Palm Springs and play at the casino there, but after this spa experience, I think staying in Rancho Mirage and then traveling into Palm Springs at night for dinner is more up my alley. All staff at this spa were amazing, but special kudos to miracle hands Beatrice. Bless you! read more

My hubby and I are regulars here! We come here about once a month and we get the 80 min Swedish massage! Miriam, Martha, Jeanne, are all great. The pedicures here are also AMAZING! I also want to thank Felicia for always being very attentive with my needs in the Spa, she's always checking in on me and making sure that I am doing well or asking if I need anything. She is very polite. read more
