I called the Palm Springs Hilton hotel and was told by customer service the spa is permanently closed!!!

5 stars for the massage. The ambiance is great, really good for a single friends/couple. It wasn't busy when I went so it felt like a personal event which was kind of nice. Peaceful: No spa menu can be found on-line, you have to call or see the menu in person on-site. Men's spa, 1 of everything: -1 shower -has wall jets and rain head -1steam room -1urinal -1 bathroom -about 10 lockers Very cozy Waiting room is chill as most spas -tea, infused water, and granola bars If you're looking for something more extravagant try a spa nearby but if you just need a massage and enjoy a nice steam, this does the trick. Hot tubs and pool are out in the middle of the hotel 1st floor. There's a tub you can reserve for soak but you gotta call. read more

I had the best time at Elements. I was staying at the hotel for my bday weekend and they made it super special for me. Andy was amazing with all of my requests and I SO appreciate the complimentary champagne! Jackie has the hands of a goddess and released all of my tension with a few tissue massage (I sprung for 90 min!). This was among the best massages I've ever gotten. Thank you all!! Made last minute reservations for the late hour on a Saturday night. Upon check in, Brittany walked me over to the spa waiting room, lockers, shower room and eucalyptus steam room. The entire spa was well maintained, very clean and aesthetically appealing. The waiting area has fruit, hot tea and snacks. I had a pedicure with Courtney. Courtney was a joy, uplifting and very charming. She did an awesome job with my pedicure and was extremely efficient. Lynn was my massage therapist and asked what areas she needed to work on. She really did an outstanding job on the areas I had asked her to focus on which were my lower and upper back. Lynn was extremely tender with her hands and firm in the areas needed. She was very sweet and really pleasant to be with in the room. I left the spa extremely relaxed. A glass of wine or champagne was offered before and after. I took advantage of the Chardonnay after my treatment. I am now ready to take on the world! Thank you, Brittany for coordinating my pedicure and massage last minute. Came here with my friend just last Saturday. The spa itself, overall was meh. It's pretty small and doesn't have much to offer. When we showed up they were out of clean towels and were told that when we come back to the locker area, there should be more ( there was not ). We had to take towels from the vacant lockers. There was an employee in the locker room just chatting it up on her cell phone and staring at herself in the mirror, like she was chillin at home or something. When I went out to the small waiting area with my friend, there was seating for 5 people and there was 7 of us out there. My friend and some other guy were just awkwardly standing around for a few minutes before one of the employees finally decided to carry out 2 more chairs for them from a room. My massage therapist, Jacqueline (sp?) was great! I would give her ****4 stars. I got a 90 minute massage. She actually asked what areas I wanted her to focus on and listened to the fact that I said I don't like soft massages and she went full force immediately. She asked if her touch was good and asked if I was comfortable. The only reason I didn't give her the 5th star is because one of my favorite parts of full body massages is the scalp massage at the end. That's like the climax. She didn't even..! She ended at my neck and shoulders kind of abruptly. I've never had a massage end like that. And I get a lot of massages. That part was pretty disappointing. My friend was not happy with her massage. She said her massage therapist only did one side of her body and was left thinking, what about my other side???????? She said she didn't have it in her to tell the receptionist that she was not pleased when we were checking out because her massage therapist was a little old abuelita. And she said it was not very relaxing because, throughout her massage, she kept hearing a loud noise, that sounded like a microwave door opening and shutting. I do admit that it was easy to hear people talking right outside the door of the room I was in also. But glad that only lasted for a moment. But nonetheless, it was still disruptive. Also, something that neither of us was aware of was that there is an included 20% gratuity fee with your service. I was ok with that, because those were my intentions already, but it would have been good to know beforehand. Also, that sucks for my friend who got a half assed massage for 90 minutes. The Elements team went above and beyond to provide an unexpected experience. Though, due to a staffing shortage, we were unable to book the couples massage, which allows extra time in the private room to shower, sip on champagne and indulge in chocolates post massage, Jackie gave two exceptional back-to-back massages and saved the couple's suite for us nonetheless. While one gave into her perfectly in-tune hands, the other enjoyed the suite and spa in it's entirety. With champagne still on-ice and chocolates still awaiting us, we came together and enjoyed the couples room after both of our massages had finished. Without pressure to quickly leave, we enjoyed that extra until ready to go. Again to our surprise, we were warmly handed an incredibly unexpected and generous birthday gift bag to top it all off. read more

I cancelled my hotel reservation and apparently the hotel doesn't communicate with their own spa. The spa charged me for 3 spa services that I didn't go to. The reason I made a reservation here was because I was staying at your hotel. if I'm not coming to Palm Springs how can I come to your spa?? your hotel should communicate with the spa and its guests. Courtney helped me out this time (first time with her) and was very friendly and approachable. Polish started peeling after 2 weeks I believe so all in all, great place to escape!!! read more

I was disappointed in this spa. It's very small with no wow factor whatsoever. My massage was average, at best. (Massages are subjective, of course, and my sister said her massage was wonderful.) The scented oils cost an extra $10, but I don't go to spas often enough to recall if this is standard. My recollection is that you usually get a scented oil included and they charge if you want to add more. The waiting area is unisex, which we didn't know, and we were pretty surprised to walk out in our robes to find a man reading a magazine waiting for his treatment. The women's locker room is small with few amenities. There were towels and robes lying around, not tidy looking. I don't think there was a sauna. The steam room is located in the locker room right next to the restroom, not very inviting. We had to turn the steam room on ourselves and it took a few minutes to steam up. The selection of fruit water, teas, and snacks was very nice and everyone was friendly and helpful, but overall this did not have a luxurious, high-end feel. The prices are the same as other spas in the area that are much nicer. The spa was convenient as were staying at the Hilton, but I would not go back. read more

My boyfriend and I went to this Spa while staying at the Hilton in Palm Springs. I made our appointments well in advance, and it was easy to do. Upon arrival, we were shown in to the locker rooms. When I got there, the locker room was empty, which was great for some quiet time. They have a nice little waiting area with some water, tea, and snacks. After sitting there for just a few moments, we were taken to our rooms for massages. The rooms are small and cute. My masseuse was amazing! This was my first time getting a massage, so she made sure that I felt comfortable the whole time. I also got a facial and pedicure while there, but I think the massage was the best part. While waiting for the pedicure, I did have to sit in the waiting room for a while. Overall, would recommend! read more

Amazing! What a wonderful spa and hotel! They have this incredible deal going on where for each night you get a $115 credit for the spa. My friend and I did an overnight girls trip and had an amazing time. The rooms are really nice, very comfortable beds, very nice pool area with great pool side service and above average food (usually pool food is just so so but this was very good!) The spa...amazing. They offer champagne while you wait or you can have a selection of wine or tea. I had the pleasure of having Silva perform my service. She was SO good. I had the deep tissue and relexology, I admit I am spoiled and have massages every few months locally so when I say she was SO good, she was SO good! They also have a steam room to enjoy before or after your service. Even without the credit, the spa has extremely reasonable prices. My friend had an excellent service too. Hotel is in walking distance to the main strip, I parked and never had to drive anywhere. Casino is across the street. Hotel room very clean and roomy, nice patio, good water pressure. Hotel staff super friendly. I really feel I stumbled across a gem here. Will defiantly be back very soon and will recommend to everyone I come across! read more

We visited Elements over Memorial Day weekend. Jo, my aesthetician, is a miracle worker. My husband and friends instantly noticed the change in my appearance. Jo worked with me to customize my facial after studying my skin. The results were healthier looking skin and younger looking. Additional benefit - relaxed! Great service. The receptionist was very nice and walked us to the women's locker room to show us around. They have a eucalyptus stream room and an aromatherapy shower to use in between services. I got a great 90 min massage from Brian and Jackie did a wonderful 30 min Reflexology. I would recommend this spa as a nice place to get out of the heat. read more

Disappointed that this spa has limited ability in accommodations. They do not have any massage therapists on site, just "on call". We tried to make massage appointments multiple times and being able to do that is actually based on some per diem employee willing to come in. They offered a male therapist, but if you felt more comfortable with a female it would be a 24 hour wait. It seems like they are really just running an overpriced lavender room with in call massage therapist who dictate their availability. So if you are winky here for a day or two there goes your chance to have a massage if their staff doesn't feel like coming in for a day. Seems like you could reasonably expect more from a spa inside the Hilton. read more

Unfortunately, this was the worst experience I've had here. My husband and I were scheduled for a couples massage and when we arrived the room was not ready and they had us in separate rooms. They were able to finally put us in a conjoined room where it sounded like jets were taking off. I finally ended the massage early due to getting a headache. The management had several excuses and attempted to give us 15% off of our price "because I did 30 minutes of a "massage". I actually did not relax for even one minute. The only thing I received was a headache! They did decide to "comp" my massage, but charged us $120 for my husband because he was gratuitous enough to endure to jet noise! The massage therapist are very kind, but management needs a little more training on customer service. read more

So many options to choose from and they ask if you would like any part of your body focused on . They also offer fruit , wine/cider , and other refreshments while you wait and after you finish . Worst massage ever! I came with a group of girlfriends and was really looking forward to my 90 min hot stone massage. I had a male massage therapist that did not tell me his name. He didn't ask if I had any concerns or areas of focus, and he began on my legs! I've been getting massages for over 20 years and I've never had a massage therapist start on my legs, always the back first. He was spending so much time on my legs I finally had to ask if he was going to work on my back. He was rough when applying the oil on me, and he didn't use any massage technique. It felt like a student's first day at massage school. I was very disappointed to say the least and as soon it was over I went straight to the front desk and complained. She was very apologetic and told me I did not have to pay, and she offered the Serenity Soak to help make up for it. This is why I'm giving them 2 stars, the Serenity Soak was very nice and it did help me relax and I was happy I didn't have to pay. For the amount they charge, I expected a much better experience. This spa was not at all what I was expecting, especially being attached to the Hilton name. The amenities were subpar and not enticing. The locker rooms were just that, a locker room. The entire ambiance was thrown off by the bright iridescent lights and the smell of chlorine. The massage therapists were not only rude with a harsh energy, but were extremely ill-equipped to deal with any real ailment. I walked in with a slight headache and sore muscles and walked out with a migraine and a feeling that I wasted my money on a lie. There is a certain amount of hospitality and grander that is expected when you're paying elegant prices, and unfortunately those expectations were not met. This spa is a diamond in the rough. Hidden away on the 2nd floor of the hilton can make it hard to find but the staff is friendly, the services are amazing, and the facilities are clean. I wish I had read all the reviews before I came here. I was expecting so much more for the price I paid. My husband and I had massages there yesterday (in separate rooms). I had a male therapist. I don't remember his name, but was told he is their best therapist. He was horrible. As a massage therapist myself, I know what a Swedish massage should entail. That is not what he gave me. Everything he did was lightning fast and jolting and not relaxing at all. I also asked for firm pressure, which he did not give consistently. I couldn't wait for it to be over. The shower I took afterwards was more relaxing than whatever that was he gave me. I was almost in tears when I told the woman at the front desk. She said she was "surprised to hear that because he is our best therapist". She offered to give me and my husband a soak and some champagne to make up for it. I took the champagne and made her take off the 20% tip that they automatically added on to my bill. Honestly, I should not have had to pay at all for that waste of time. After we got back to our room (we were staying at the Hilton), my husband told me about his experience... He doesn't know the name of his therapist, but said it was a weird massage. His therapist wore thick plastic gloves while she worked on his back and back of his legs. He could feel them, and it hurt. He could also hear them make that palstic-y sound. I suggested maybe she had eczema and he said that can't be, because she took the gloves off to work on his front side. He also felt that she draped him too loosely and he felt exposed. Not good. Whoever does the hiring and the training for this place needs to do better. I can not believe we paid so much money for such crap. Now that we are home, we feel like we need another massage! Do not waste your time or money at this joke of a spa. read more

Just had an amazing Swedish/deep tissue combo w/ Justin. Which was AMAZING! First, the spa staff are lovely. Then there's the very clean though small-ish men's locker room (to be expected at this sized hotel spa): 2 showers, fantastic steam room. Well appointed. The waiting area is inviting, with water, teas, fruit, wine, and champagne. And the treatment rooms are plentiful, roomy and clean. As for Justin, I could not recommend him more highly. Very sweet, great energy, and great massage skills. All in all a great end to a lovely Palm Springs weekend. I will be back for sure. read more

I've been to this spa two or three times and I've enjoyed myself each time. The facilities are clean and welcoming. The steam room in the women's locker room is eucalyptus-infused and seems to be the right amount of steam without being oppressive. The waiting area is small but there are snacks, tea, water, and even champagne. When I was there last time, the "hot" water for tea was tepid at best. I had a facial that was awesome. One thing I appreciated was the therapist, as they call them, didn't try to sell me any products. That's one of my pet peeves when getting a facial so I appreciated that she didn't even mention what they had for sale. If you have a room credit for the spa, make sure they take it off the final bill (which they originally forgot to do until I pointed it out). Also, they automatically add 20% gratuity, which I would've done myself but found it a touch off-putting that they'd done for me. If I hadn't had a great facial, I would've taken issue with an automatic 20% tip. Overall I'd say if you're in the market for a spa treatment while in downtown Palm Springs, this place is a definite winner! read more

The spa was very nice, from the warm reception to the eucalyptus steam room. What compelled me to write this review though, was my massage from Justin. It was AMAZING. He was clearly knowledgeable in how to unlock someone's tension, and knew exactly the amount of pressure to deliver to get the fascia and hypertonic muscles to just melt. You can definitely feel if your massage practitioner is present, and he most certainly was. I get massages all of the time, and this is one of the best I ever had. What an amazing experience all around! This spa is clean and the environment is soothing. They offer complimentary champagne, tea, coffee, and even a few snacks. They recommended that my friend and I show up about a half hour early that way we could get settled in and take advantage of their showers or steam room before our massage, which we made sure to do. The staff are so kind and know their stuff. Our massages were relaxing and afterwards we had a glass of champagne waiting for us. We decided we needed to try out their facials so we went back the next day. I have never had a facial before but now after having one at this spa, I can't wait to have another. So besides the fact that I had to get out of my car and go inside looking for the Valet and walk half a mile (exaggerated) to get to the spa we were still hopeful. We were disappointed with the fact that they had no Champagne which was supposedly complimentary, and the steam room was their only amenity. We booked a couples deep tissue massage with Justin and Carmen. The massages started out and we both thought we were going to be disappointed but as they got going it was an incredible massage. They both had great technique and we both really liked the non traditional massage music. The Steam room had the perfect amount of Eucalyptus and steam. Usually I can not handle steam rooms but this one was absolutely perfect. I was however not happy with the automatic 20% gratuity added onto my bill. I would have liked the option to tip what i felt was appropriate because if I had in fact had a bad massage there would be no way I would have left a 20% tip but thankfully they were great. If they would have not automatically added the tip I would have probably given more than the 20%. Overall turned out to be a great massage and we would definitely go back. read more
