Fox's It's been serving the community since 1929 and offers a wide variety of traditional Jewish favorites like matzo ball soup, Reubens, latkes, blintzes, knishes, They even have freshly baked bagels Have you been there before, or are you planning to visit soon?

I was craving latkes and heard Fox's Deli was the place to go. We arrived and were seated immediately. The booths are comfy and the dining room is decorated with custom designed posters of the menu choices. Very fun. We ordered matzo ball soup and latkes to start. The soup broth was incredibly comforting. I will need to remember fox's when I am sick and craving soup broth. The latkes were exactly what I needed. You get 4 per order. We enjoyed them with sour cream and apple sauce. They were crispy and flavorful. I ordered a patty melt with fries. My husband order the Rueben with fries. The sandwiches come with chips; fries were a $2.50 up charge. We could have ordered one serving of fries and shared; as they give you large portions. The fries were perfect. They came out crispy and hot. We both loved our sandwiches. A great dining experience. The service was wonderful

Delicious! I am particularly partial to Jewish Delis for the latkes and the dessert case, and Fox's Deli was no exception. The snickerdoodle cookie was probably the besar snickerdoodle I've ever had. I tried Matzo ball soup for the first time, and with the latkes it made a great comfort meal for a cold day. The deli was very busy on a Saturday at lunch time for sit-down dining. I opted for take out and didn't have to wait long. I'll be back to try one of their sandwiches and more desserts!

Prompt service and delicious Jewish deli foods we cannot get at home. We split a Reuben with 1/2 pound corned beef - delicious with plenty of lean corned beef (but you get 1 pound and even 2 pound sandwiches). The cabbage soup was so tasty with its sweet and sour tang. Best was the cheese blintz we ordered for our dessert - served with sour cream, cherries, and applesauce condiments. A perfect meal. Also there are wonderful drinks - we ordered a Dr. Brown's root beer, but you can get a phosphate, seltzer, or even a chocolate egg cream drink. Fox's is amazing!

This was not the entry I was expecting to make when you go to what once was a Rochester staple for delicious authentic and classically known for its Jewish-American food...it was so disappointing, and pretty sad really. For a Saturday lunch hour that used to be crowded and super busy, was found with minimal tables occupied and not much of an energized atmosphere. I ordered a Ruben and side order of knosh and my partner tried one of their bacon-blue burgers found as one of their "wall specials" my Ruben was nothing like what is advertised. Luke-warm, crumbly meat that just wasn't what was pictured on several Facebook posts. My partners bacon-blue burger was "ok" he said but wished they had real blue cheese on it and not a package delivered with the burger of creamy Ken's dressing. Overall, sadly disappointed.

If your town does not have an outstanding deli, it's time to fire your mayor or move. I hadn't been back to Fox's since what feels like college. My loss. Corned beef and pastrami with Russian dressing and coleslaw on rye, washed down with a cream soda. 'Nuff said.

Great spot to have a delicious homemade sandwiches.... Walking in you can see the deli area where they actually slice up all the goodies. I went with their number for me selling sandwich... the Reuben! Hot lean sliced corned beef with melted Swiss cheese.... So amazing! Love the names of all the menu items, they have posters throughout the place representing these items. They have some homemade cookies available, I recommend the almond one!

Head chef Nalee Phommachanh had the vision alongside owner (and sister-in-law) Vilay Sysavath. The family- run business offers a diverse and authentic Southeast Asian menu, a quarterly rotating chef specials menu with paired rotating drinks, and a full-service bar with specialty Soju-based cocktails and other Asian-fusion beverages. My wife and I were in Rochester for a thrift show and wanted to grab some lunch. We love Vietnamese, pho is one of my favorite foods, so we decided to give them a try and we were glad we did. The restaurant is small and jam packed full of tables, but we were still able to be sat and given menus immediately around 2PM on a Saturday. We decided to order a bunch of things and share them. Obviously, we got a bowl of pho, along with an order of egg rolls, a chicken lemongrass plate, and a couple pf Thai teas. Our food took a bit to come, but it was pretty busy, and we were very happy with our food. Everything was delicious. The grilled chicken from the platter had awesome lemongrass flavor, the pho's broth was flavorful, the egg rolls were absolutely amazing, and the portions were huge - we had plenty to take home afterwards. Employees were friendly, prices were comparable to similar restaurants. We'd definitely go again if in the area.

I've been to Roc Pho Shop a couple times now and find it enjoyable... had it been around during my…read moredays at RIT, I'm sure I would have been there regularly. Unsurprisingly, I originally visited to try the pho itself. While the pho is served with a plate of Thai basil, hoisin, siracha, sprouts and lime to add flavor, I'm still somewhat regularly disappointed in the lack of umami flavor in the broth itself. It lacks some depth. There are also times when my broth wasn't quite as hot as I would have wanted. Generally, the pho is fine... but there are better options around Henrietta and Rochester. Just something to keep in mind. I've had a variety of other dishes as well, and the pork banh mi is another that could use some improvement. In the couple times that I've had it, it seems to be very dry. I want a scrumptious banh mi with plenty of pickled veggies and a flavorful pork... but that isn't what I've experienced here. It's served with a broth on the side, and that's fine... but I want my flavor *IN* the sandwich... without having to use a broth as a substitute to add moisture to the meat or flavor to the sandwich. On a recent visit, I brought my mother. She ended up ordering the shrimp fried rice for her lunch, and, while the size was large (she ended up needing a takeout container to bring about half of it home), she found the dish to be lacking in flavor and components (noting that more vegetables might have been nice). During this visit, I also ordered the spicy cucumber salad for the first time... and also found *that* side lacking in flavor. There was an itsy bitsy amount of spice... but for something marked on the menu as spicy? It wasn't what I was expecting. Service was fine, and the overall ambience of the restaurant is inviting and clean. The entrance/exit can be a bit rough for cars that are a bit lower to the road... just something to be aware of.
