I must share my experience with you! My Subaru buying experience did not start out to good. I had started with the local Subaru dealership here in Lansing. The sales person was no help to me whatsoever, he made me feel as if I was an inconvenience and I wasn't good enough to buy a Subaru. I started to search online for another dealership and stumbled upon Sellers. My first contact was with Jackie Elicea, what a great personality, so friendly and helpful! Ms. Elicea made me feel like this was the place for me to be! Within minutes she had emailed me the information I was looking for and also passed me along to Ms. Adrienne Cross. I had all the info I needed within a 1/2 hour, as where it had been a couple of weeks and was still nowhere with the other dealership. On 03/11/15, I took the 2 hour drive to Sellers. I was greeted by Ms. Cross with the friendliest smile as soon as we started talking, I knew I was in the right place! I even found out later that Ms. Cross, herself, had a little car accident that morning on her way in, to be so happy and positive, not many people would be like that. Ms. Cross answered every question I had and showed me many different options, she really put my mind at ease! By the end, I felt like I have known her for years! We even did the "formal" hand shake, then she said "I'm a huger" I said that I was too, that was the icing on the cake! Really made me feel like she cared about me and was so happy for me! I had such a wonderful experience there and felt I needed to pass this along to you. I plan on having all my service taken care of there and will definitely be back to work with Ms. Cross in the future. I will be a customer for life thanks to Ms. Cross! read more

I love my new Subaru but would never, ever recommend to anyone to go to this dealership. To sum it up, once you buy your car and take ownership the customer service, communication and service totally ends. If you need anything or anyone, once they return your call you feel as though you are a bother and should be thankful they are even responding to you. Subaru has a program called Subaru Love Encore. It is where a car specialist goes through your new car with you and makes sure your comfortable and answer any questions and you get a gas card. This dealership does not do this. They talk it up but do not contact you and when you do inquire you hear she is on vacation. I waited two months and on a Saturday when a Kayla finally called me she was short, rude and full of excuses why I hadn't been contacted. I also dealt with service and the general manager with a replacement fob. We agreed the cut key would be mailed to me so I didn't have to make a trip back out to the dealership after I had already picked up the fob. This also didn't happen and I had to drive out there again. I have found two other people who have had similar dealings with this dealership. Advice: read reviews and talk to people there are so many reputable dealerships out there. I will be contacting the Subaru field office In Illinois. read more

Last month My wife and I flew from Los Angeles to Macomb Michigan to pick up a 2012 Toyota Prius from Sellers Subaru. Prior to making the big decision to fly across the country on a one way ticket to buy a car without seeing it or test driving it , I had the pleasure of dealing with the greatest car sales consultant ever! Joe Hawlik was so helpful over the phone on the many times I called him, face timing me to show me live pics of the car and answering all of my questions....here is an excerpt of an email I sent Joe: "I also want to say, Thank You! You made our buying experience the best ever car buying experiences we have had... The trip to Michigan was well worth the effort given the smooth, easy and quick transaction not to mention a great deal for an excellent car! Thank you and Adam also, for recommending Mae's Kitchen, the ambience was awesome....real "homie" and the food was stupendous... Yes, I did order an omelette which was out of this world! We haven't opened the chocolate fudge yet, waiting for the right occasion....I know we will love it.thank you. Hope your wife enjoys the tea." If you are in the market for a car, check out Sellers Subaru in Macomb MI and ask to speak with Joe, he will hook you up! read more

After 14 years of driving the same car, i decided it's time to upgrade and took delivery of my first Subaru last Saturday. Andy of Sellers Subaru made it possible to bring in the specific car i needed, a new white 2015 Legacy Limited which arrived fresh from the factory. He took the time to prepare a detailed written price quote with all fees clearly stated which made me feel i'm being taken as a serious customer. This dealership have a very responsive customer service team and allowed me to make interactive quick follow-ups via video chat right on their website while on lunch break in my office! My salesperson was very thorough and has excellent knowledge of Subarus and provided me tons of information before and during delivery. He even gave me a tour of their very modern facility including how to enjoy their touch screen-operated espresso coffee machine. I highly recommend getting your Subaru from this dealership. You won't be disappointed just like in my case. P.S. Driving my brand new Subaru feels like i got more car for a lot less money! read more

My husband and I just recently (today!) purchased a used car from Sellers Subaru! We met with Kristen Shultz upon entering the building and she saw us through to us driving away with our new car! She was incredibly accommodating with our unique banking situation and freely gave us her personal contact information so that we could reach her whenever we need to. All we needed was a cheaper used car as a commuter car for me for school, and that's what we got. She was not pushy, she did not talk down about our car. She laid out the facts for us right away and answered all of our questions. Her associate Jamie in finance was just as quick, easy, and pleasant to deal with. Our car was waiting for us when we pulled up to the lot today to pick it up, as promised. Freshly cleaned, gassed up, and ready to go. Our entire experience was the most painless, pleasant, and even fun that we have ever had with buying a car. If you are looking for a quality car, used or new, Subaru or not, I highly recommend Sellers. read more

The most honest dealer I have even done business with. From the salesman taking my phone call and practically transacting the whole deal over the phone for me at 8:20PM on a Thursday evening. A special thank you to Jon Bauer the sales manager a truly genuine person and Jason Vela a salesman that is not out for himself but the customer and it showed in every way. The car was delivered clean and flawless, the finance manager was not scary and the service people on duty on a Saturday were friendly. Even their receptionist seems to like her job when answering 25+ of my calls during this transaction. Thanks Sellers your unique model and approach shows and is refreshing. Wow mind blown and so happy with my new car. My dog Izzy loves her stuffed Impreza, a nice touch! I would highly recommend this dealership something I've never said or taken the time to share. read more

First I want to say I normally don't write reviews but because of my experience I felt the need too. Kim and the service department staff at Sellers are dedicated and thorough. I initially had taken in my car for what I had initially thought to be some minor issues and after looking into the problem something major and out of place was discovered. I honestly don't know how my car would've ended up and how it was missed by a different Dealership. Kim and the staff took exceptional care of my car and situation in spite of the circumstances I was dealt with from the other dealership. They made sure that I had viable transportation the whole time my car was in the process of getting repaired and because of this I look forward to having my car serviced at Sellers in the future. I again want to thank the service staff for their outstanding customer service! read more

I would like to commend Kim Rundel in the Service department for her persistence towards resolution with the engineers at Subaru, and Whitney Gosick for her ability to get me right back on the road in a new Crosstrek while they worked on mine. I would also like to recommend my salesman Eric Gonzales for his knowledge and help throughout this process. I purchased a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek floor model just before Christmas at Sellers Subaru. Unfortunately there have been some mechanical defects. I had had previous "mechanical defects" experience, with 2 different manufacturers and dealerships, and the memories were not pleasant. This time however, the people at Sellers Subaru took care of everything. No worries. Thank-you for all your support. read more

I can't say enough great things about my Subaru dealer. I have leased my last 3 vehicles through this dealer and felt special how they remember me BY NAME when I walk in the door. Even though my family worked and retired from another car company, Subaru is the only one for me. You can't beat the quality, style and service. Josh Cagle has great selling skills, very personable, polite and I think of him as a son. Thanks Josh and Jim for helping me get through the initial steps learning all the new gadgets. Samantha made it look so easy to setting the radio stations to my liking. I have highly recommended Subaru to everyone I know. Thanks Team Subaru read more

Have wanted to get into a Subaru for some time now but my family finally made the switch to Subaru this week and are so happy we did. What was the most surprising part of our experience joining the Subaru family was the level of service and care we received from Steven , Alex, and the whole Fox Subaru Macomb team from our first step into the dealership. We have bought and leased many vehicles, however, this was the first time I didn't feel like we were being sold to and talked at. Clear and respectful communication, patience, and unwavering support was felt from start to finish. Cannot recommend Alex at Fox Subaru Macomb enough! read more

We visited several Subaru dealers in the Metro Detroit area over a couple weeks looking for the right Subaru. Sellers was by far the best one in Metro Detroit. Our sales person Joe was fantastic. He made the whole process seamless and hassle free. They had a great selection of vehicles in stock and I definitely will be back to buy a another Subaru when the time comes. A good word needs to be said when you get good service these days, as it becomes more and more rare. They are awesome to deal with and Joe made everything really simple. read more

I brought my Outback into Sellers service department to have the front brake pads replaced. As I finished my cup of coffey Lonnie came out to the waiting room and informed me that I had about 8k miles left on the pads and asked if I wanted to have the work done now or bring it back later. I don't drive many miles and decided to bring it back later. My car was brought around....after it was washed. Their customer service exceeded my expectations. I appreciate the honesty and the ability to take options. Thanks. Alan Matula read more

I bought my first-ever Subaru last week and couldn't be happier with Fox Subaru Macomb and with my new car. It took a minute to learn how to pronounce the name of my salesman, Tom Squillace, but it was worth the effort. He was friendly, informative, flexible and fun to work with. Zach Miller made the mundane financing paperwork enjoyable, and being welcomed by Sales Manager Steve Buckman made me feel right at home. I look forward to coming for service and bringing my dogs to hang out in the waiting room with me! read more

I am very happy with Seller Subaru. I bought an outback 2015 limited, and I love it. Eric Gonzalez is awesome, and patient. I had a difficult time weather I wanted an outback or forester. I love the whole team at subaru, they answer every question I have, and helped me out. Plus there serves is wonderful . I went on vacation and I had a bird dropping on my car that baked into my paint and they got it out. I am very happy with Seller Subaru. read more

We just purchased a 2006 Vibe thru Sellers' used lot and had a wonderful experience with the sales and finance staff. The car was described accurately online with a really helpful video that showed all details. They did a great job of accommodating us and setting up a time for our visit, which went incredibly smoothly. I would definitely recommend Sellers Subaru for anyone looking for a professional and responsive sales team! read more

The staff at Fox Subaru were great to work with when picking out a new Subaru Crosstrek to replace my vehicle. Steve , Tom and Zach were courteous and friendly with no pressure to select a vehicle. Tom who assisted me all day offered to share his lunch and stayed with me even after the dealership closed to be sure I was familiar with all the options of the new Subaru. Thanks to everyone at Fox ! read more

Joshua Cagle helped me buy my car, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! Drove more than an hour to buy my Subaru Outback at Sellers because of the excellent service. I was treated with fairness and respect which has not been true at other dealerships. Eric Gonzalez helped me get the car I wanted and didn't try to sell me a car or features I didn't want or need. Highly recommended. read more
