This place has everything! We split a steak sandwich ($15), rosemary latte ($7), and a local beer ($7)! Sandwich was a little bland for me, but quality of beef was good. Rosemary latte could've used another shot but the rosemary stood out nicely. Beer - no complaints. Great price point (equal to a latte?) Love the ambiance here. Lots of seating spaces - not as many by heaters, so bring a blanket or get here early to get closer to a firepit. Took a stroll around the premise and loved to see the petting zoo area, local produce/farms in the back. This was our first time at Fox Point Farms and it was amazing. We went on a Friday night and they had a live performer. The crowd seemed to be more young families with young children but they had plenty of things to do from the music, to cornhole, to fire pits and many more. They have a brewery with a wide selection and the market had loads of healthy food options and snacks. Alongside the vibes, they have a pizza stand and a taco stand. We are at the taco stand and it did not disappoint. All of the meat in the tacos were super tender, the tortillas were hand pressed and extremely fresh. And the Agua de Jamaica was so refreshing and not super sweet (that's how I like it). It was super nice sitting down in the beautiful evening and listening to the live performer and eating our tacos! Parking is a bit tight and you may have to park further away and walk, but overall I would come back for those tacos, maybe a beer next time, and the vibes!! 10/10 would recommend! read more

Cool hang out spot especially for dogs and kids. The lawn is huge and can accommodate all. Lawn space for picnics for dogs and kids, 10/10! Music 10/10. Vibe 10/10! Love the seating and fire places. However, the food is pretty terrible. We got some sandwiches, the turkey foccocia was decent, tiny though. The Brie one was alright. The tacos in the back, you get 3 tiny tacos for $17, it was not good. We got fish tacos, barbacoa, and carnitas. The "best" from them was the carnitas. The tacos needed salsas and seasoning (maybe some salt). The tortilla was good though. The vegan taco, my friend got and she took one bite and didn't eat the rest. I would skip the taco truck and stick with sandwiches or no food. They also ran out of Dino nuggets, didn't know so we asked the taco lady to make our toddler a cheese quesadilla. Which is probably the best thing here. Probably best to eat before hand. Hopefully they will up their food game. Beers and kombucha were delicious though. I was excited to come here for some drinks thinking that it's been awhile since it opened that it wouldn't be so crowded. I was wrong. It's still very popular. We went on a weekend in the early afternoon. We needed in having to park down the road past the traffic light on a side street and walk up to the property. I ended up buying a non-alcoholic kombucha. All tasted good but. Some in a smaller cup than the coffees and craft beers they serve. The other bummer was learning that seeing the farm animals had an additional cost associated to it as it is catered to children:families. The ambiance is definitely a 10 out of 10 here. It's spacious, modern, and hip. Lots of events here but not enough parking. Hopefully they make more. I can't say anything about the food because I didn't have any. But I love how there's a farm on site, available for feedings on the weekends. The farm to table restaurant looks gorgeous too. This is such a great concept, I just think they need to work out a few things before it's 5 stars. We came here on a Sunday, and this place was hopping. Lots of young families enjoying the beautiful day. I didn't really know what to expect since I had seen cool pictures on Instagram, but didn't understand really what Fox Point Farms was! It is a one stop shop! There is a market filled with ready-made items and items you can order such as smoothies, sandwiches, and coffee. There is a restaurant on top that we will have to check out next time. There are also a few different vendors selling food from a pop-up shop. We ate at the pizza vendor and that definitely contributed to the four stars. The pizza was delicious, but we ordered three pizzas and it took us well over an hour to get them. I understand that pop-up shops don't run as efficiently as an established set up. However, even though there were a lot of people, it definitely not crazy busy! The guy at the front quoted us 20 minutes, but, like I wrote, it took over an hour. I wish someone had told us at the beginning that it would take over an hour to get three pizzas, because we would've eaten that one of the other places. Live and learn! The pizza was good though. My husband got a smoothie from the main shop. It was really good. My best friend got kombucha on tap, and she loved it. I got a coffee, and it was pretty good. I think the concept of itself is really fun and definitely is geared towards families with young kids who need to run around and get their wiggles out while their parents enjoy some food and drinks! read more

We made it just in time to miss the tractor ride and farm area on Thursday, Jan 2 around 5pm (enter sad face here) but honestly it had enough to keep my very active 3 year old entertained. I wish I would have gotten the names of the 2 staff members we interacted with. The cashier was so friendly to our kiddo when he ordered (quietly) and returned the table buzzer. And the young man that was hustling cleaning tables but when I asked if there was fire pits available on the other side of the grassy area, stopped what he was doing to go turn it on for us and then disappeared (like a ninja). Play area (wood chips IYKYK) was small but cute... big log to climb on with a small slide on one side. Cute small tables and benches for the kiddos and even small Adirondack chairs throughout. Large grassy area for kiddos to run and play, they had cornhole but had brought it in by the time we were done eating. Not sure how many sets they have or if they have other outside games. We sat on the far side with a large fire pit, enjoyed the space for our little to play freely, they also have 3 bathrooms (clean and changing tables) on this side. Food was really good: kids grilled cheese (not a crumb left), steak sandwich (if u like blue cheese, this is a MUST, that blue cheese was memorable!!!) and the tuna melt. Both adult sandwiches were very filling and filled; they do not hold back the proteins! Drinks: I got the passion fruit/lillikoi kombucha. Personally speaking I AM a Lillikoi snob (we grow our own) and this was REALLY REALLY GOOD!!! Hubby got the No-till Pilsner and he quite enjoyed it. They also have a restaurant upstairs that I would imagine has a beautiful view, the market (where we ordered from) has lots of fresh veggies, meats, premade salads/cold sandwiches and more. Also, a taco stand outside. Will we return: defintely yes! But we will come earlier so we can enjoy the farm. And I'll take more pictures. read more

The farm might be somewhere else close by, but I couldn't see if from the store and parking lot. From the store, this appears to be a convenient store for the surrounding development. One of the buildings here is an event venue. The store has some essential produce and some home goods. Store also has a shop that sells coffee, kombucha and some brews. Very Chip & Joanna Gaines esthetic. Great place to hangout for people with kids -- there is plenty of space to stretch out and run around and can still keep an eye on the kids. The Pineapple Hydrate kombucha is delicious and not cheap. Best tasting kombucha I've ever had -- so good that I won't be surprised if you tell me it was plain old tea. This was my first time dining at Fox Point Farms. My friends have been there previously. It is a lovely venue. They have a farm where they grow a lot of the ingredients for their food. It is all very healthy. Gabriella was our server and she was exceptional. We had the following: bronze appetizer, Caesar salad, carrot soup, quinoa, salad. For entrées, we had the Santa Clarita, New York steak, the Braised short rib, and the local catch, which was halibut. We also got the bread and butter. The bread that night was focaccia and cornbread. There was a lemon butter and some kind of berry wine butter. It was exceptional. All the food was very delicious. The person who had the short rib said they've never had a short rib. I highly recommend everything there. Will definitely be back again. read more

What a cute little place! I personally don't care that this isn't an "authentic" farm like many of the comments are saying, you're in Encinitas next to a Sur La Table, what are you expecting? I love that you can grab food, drinks, and take a nice walk around the farm. There is a path you can walk on around the property that has a few exercising options along the way (pull up bars, tire lift, etc) and you can see the crops and animals (goats, cows, and llamas). The farm is beautiful. The servers were very nice and patient with us while we tried to decide what we wanted to order. I ordered a latte and shared their savory toast with a friend. The latte was delicious. The toast was good but a little on the bland side. I ordered a vegan Bahn mi to take home. They both tasted fresh but the flavors just weren't there for me. Beautiful farm in Encinitas. They have a market, brewery, cafe, farm, and more. There are tables, fire pits, and little couch seating areas where you can sit and enjoy. There is also a big grass area where people were sitting on blankets while their kids played. They have yoga classes and other events there as well. Plenty of parking & truly beautiful scenery. I absolutely love this place! I have been a few times but my fiancé never had been so we had to stop by while in the area for a drink. I walked him around a little to show him all the different areas that people can enjoy. It was actually my first time upstairs at the restaurant and the menu looked amazing. We came for the farm tour: for $15, there's a short tractor ride where we picked two carrots and there was an explanation about the activities of the farm. Then, you can feed the cow, mini pigs, two alpacas, and also see the 30 chickens. Very educational and cute to see the animals. They also have a supermarket where they sell food, a brewery, and a roastery. Lots of people had their picnic blankets on the grass. I think this place looks really nice but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. At this point they're also still working on opening places like the brewery and the coffee shop. So the only thing open is the market and formal restaurant. Maybe once everything is open again it would be worth checking out because for right now, there isn't much. Small parking lot and they also have overflow parking but it's a decent walk away. The harvest market is part grocery store part cafe/coffee shop. We got there on a Sunday around noon and it was packed with a long line winding through the store. We got the vegan veggie sandwich and the turkey sandwich. I was excited to see they used prager artisan breads. The sandwiches were good but very small, especially for the price. That being said the quality of the ingredients seemed high and from signs throughout the store it seems like they grow most of the produce they use in their sandwiches. Seating is all first come first serve around the market. They also have a large green space where a lot of families were playing with their kids. Dog friendly as well. read more

Love that there are so many seating options and you can find a place close to others and all the activity or away and quiet, cozy around a fire pit. This place was meant for San Diego and our year round excellent weather. The beer and beverage selections are top notch. Everything is brewed out sourced on site. As for the food, the majority stops at 2pm. However there is a taco stand in the back round the corner for delicious bites. One thing to note as strange is that coffee is not available after 2pm. They only have cold brew later in the day. I was hoping to try their roast and was disappointed it stopped so early. Staff continually walk around and clean/wipe down tables. They should crack a smile or say hi to customers when walking around. However the staff attending to drinks and good are very friendly. Be ready for parking. Not a lot of spaces for a huge place. Additional/alternate (overflow) parking is about a 3-5 minute walk across the street (traffic light crossing). But once you get parked and arrive, you can find a place to chill as you like. read more

I believe this place is just coming into its own. The whole area is being developed with brand new planned community houses being built around this spot. Brand new and "shiny" the Market just launched within the last few months. The market has a few grocery items, but also houses the cafe with coffee, tea, bowls, breakfast items as well as beer. They also recently launched a restaurant on property. I spent sometime at their cafe. The seating is all outdoor and there are tons of families with children just running amok everywhere. Very popular spot. Cafe is order at the counter, get a buzzer (if you order food) or listen for your name (for coffee/tea), wait and then come pick up your items. Food wise, I had the breakfast burrito. I rather enjoyed it. The eggs were good. Not dry, which is a bonus for me although I did feel like it could use a little bit more bacon. I felt like there wasn't even a singular strip worth in there, but overall it was simple and I liked it. My friend got the vegetarian focaccia sandwich. She absolutely hated it. she said it tasted like it was made yesterday and ended up throwing it out. Side bonus though, they have Dino chicken nuggets for kids and they were also tasty. They have a market and shop where you can order food to eat. Definitely on the pricier side but everything is farm to table. Past the market, I think there was a Mexican food vendor, not sure if that is permanent or they change the vendor out. In the back is where you would find the tractor ride and petting zoo. $15 for ride and feed the animals, skipped it as I didn't think it was worth it. Overall, it looks like a nice place to lounge and hang out with friends, maybe even throw a work/party event. People made it seem like it was kid friendly, but I noticed more adults. It could be because of the event they were setting up, but my kids weren't very interested. Better for little toddlers. We came here to let our daughter play around and I thought this was a really great family-oriented farm. There was a farm-to-table restaurant attached to it, which was closed at the time we came. There was a little playground/log where a lot of kids were playing and our 17-month old really enjoyed running around here. The farm itself sold pasture-raised meats with various cuts (ribeyes, NY Strip, etc) that you could purchase. The cafe was open and had a variety of healthy options like salads which you could add steak to, as well as sandwiches. Attended the grand opening today (made a reservation for a free yoga class via the MindBody app). The grounds are brand new, I was expecting the farm though to not be so attached to a new compound of apartments complexes or housing so close to this new venue. I am glad that I a self tour of the beautiful farm in quiet mode and with the cloudy sky...for the ones considered taking yoga classes there...it is too hot, you might end up filling like me, a roasting coffee bean in a greenhouse! I could not finish the class between the heat and the intense smell of the incense I got dizzy. I love the signage on the bathrooms and that everything smells brand new. I did not see the restaurant open but the coffee shop and market was. Prices are outrageous and seem to be catering only to the affluent north coastal folks...$2 per price of fruit in insane. Maybe I am the only one around being super careful with the money but imagine getting salad, a coffee, a fruit and multiply that for various family members if you go in family (it seems to be a family oriented farm/multipurpose space). I was very enthusiastic to attend but I need to go again to try the brewery and restaurant and attend a concert or two there and check the vibe again. read more

I came across this place on TikTok and decided to check it out--it was definitely worth the visit. I paid $15 for an incredibly delicious chorizo breakfast taco, then tried one of their hazy IPAs from the on-site brewery. The beer was decent. Inside, they have a beautiful market, though the prices are a bit high--likely reflecting the quality of the products. Outside, there's an upstairs seating area, as well as standing tables downstairs. They also have an uncovered outdoor seating area. If you walk about 50 yards, you'll find the farm. For $15, you can take a tractor ride where they share the farm's history. Along the way, you'll see a variety of fruits and vegetables being grown, and we even got to sample some--the snap peas were incredible. You can also feed the animals, including a cow, two alpacas, three goats, 31 chickens, and two baby pigs. What I love most about this place is the ecosystem they've built. They've partnered with a local beehive to help pollinate the flowers, use animal waste as fertilizer, and create a sustainable cycle that brings everything together.
