This place is incredible! I stumbled upon this gem online and planned a day trip to SD with my husband so we can check out SoCal MiniPigs. The animals are so friendly, and the hour just flies by as you feed and spend time with the animals. The pigs love belly rubs and will come up to you for some snuggles! They don't like being picked up though, but if you stay still with a bucket of lettuce they won't leave you alone! :) We also got the VIP Mini Cows package and the owner, Wes, truly treated us like VIPs. We were lucky enough to be the only ones to spend time with the cows, and we got to feed them and lounge in the VIP area. The farm also doubles as an Airbnb with stargazing, and the suites are named after each of the cows! We were only here for a day, but are planning on coming back for the Airbnb and get the full farm and stargazing experience! read more

Where do I begin? We absolutely loved our visit here! You can tell Wes and his wife love their animals so much and take such wonderful care of them. We booked the Mini Pig Experience and added on a visit with the mini cows: Adeline, Shasta, and Sedona. We really enjoyed our conversations with Wes, and he made the entire experience so fun and memorable. Their ranch, along with the time we spent with the beautiful pigs and cows, gave us the chance to disconnect from the stresses of everyday life. We received a complimentary bucket of greens to feed the pigs. Definitely wear clothes you're comfortable getting dirty in - the pigs love the mud, and they also love cuddling up with you! We would love to visit again and stay in their Stargazer Suites that overlook the cows' ranch area! read more

SoCal Mini Pigs is not just a petting zoo. It's a special place where visitors can interact with mini pigs, from petting to feeding and even adopting. Visits are by appointment only, so my husband and I booked a session on Valentine's Day. This was hands down the best animal experience we've had, thanks to the amazing staff and adorable animals. The animals were friendly, engaging, and active, which is a testament to how happy and well cared for they are. Each party is given a complimentary bucket of lettuce to feed the animals, with more available for purchase. We got to pet and feed not only mini pigs, but also goats, ducks, chickens, and even a large, handsome turkey. And because it was Valentine's Day, the staff passed around glasses of sparkling wine for guests, which was an extra special touch. The setting is tucked away in a mountainous area, making it feel like a hidden gem off the beaten path. It was the perfect stop on our way to San Diego. We're definitely looking forward to returning again next time! read more

This is a great place where anyone can get loaded up on dopamine, oxytocin, and vitamin D! I've been here twice. Both times there were abundant mini farm animals to feed and pet. I vastly prefer the baby goats to the baby pigs. They're softer and seem to enjoy being held. The mini horse looks straight out of a fairy tale. The family that owns this place is lovely. It's a perfect place for any sort of animal lover. read more

We had such a wonderful experience with SoCal Mini Farms. From start to finish everything was handled with so much care and attention to detail. The animals were adorable, and clearly so well taken care of which shows how much they are loved. The staff made the entire visit fun, stress free, and super engaging not just for the kids but for us adults too. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone got hands on time and answered all of our questions. It truly felt like such a special and personal experience that left us smiling the whole day. Loved it! Wes and Sandra were so friendly and engaging. There were so many babies when we visited, and my niece and nephew were able to easily feed them lettuce, interact and give belly rubs. Turkey, Sassy mini-Horse, calf, chickens, dogs, pigs and goats, all so friendly.... and treat orientated of course. The pigs and piglets were so much like little doggo's, they just wanted some love, scratches and pets and I felt like they would just accept all of that, for hours if you let them. Easy to find from the address and directions provided! Be aware that you will get much dirtier than expected, even if you 'try' to stay clean. Piggies are gonna get in mud puddles and come say hi, and the little ones are gonna munch on your shoes and socks! Adorable. I will be back and highly recommended So Cal Mini Pigs! read more

Went with my wife for an anniversary trip! Absolutely fantastic. The place is amazing and so much fun. The owners love for the animals is apparent and infectious. The couple that runs it are fantastic, I was worried it would feel like a cash grab gimmick, it is absolutely not. They love the animals and are simply ecstatic to share that experience. 5 outta 5, 10 outta 10, 20 outta 20, whatever. Absolutely great experience and family. P.s. they will tell you when you get there to just sit right on the ground. If you want the best experience, listen to them. Don't wear anything fancy and sit right in the dirt. read more

My mom, my sister, and I had so much fun at SoCalMiniPigs! We went when they had babies that were only about a month old and they were absolutely adorable. Being an animal lover, I just sat down on the ground and let them come to me. Just wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and let them climb all over you. I had babies fall asleep next to me. Sandra and Wes are great hosts that welcome everybody and they make sure everybody knows the rules before you go in. It's so neat that they share this special place with the public. read more

Wes and Sandra are so sweet and accommodating! They went above and beyond to make our visit extra special!! They have an adorable son who is also working around the little farm and it's the cutest thing! Every year we do something to commemorate the anniversary of my mom's passing. She had a baby pig and was just in love with the little sweeties! It was so special to have the littles in our family experience feeding touching and enjoying the environment! They really do make every effort to keep the area as cleaner than you might expect. The kids are already asking when can they go back?!? And I must confess I think I had even more fun as it reminded me if my childhood on my dad's farm. Amazingly friendly, warm and inviting personalities! The price of souvenirs was very fair and we picked up some lovely items for grandma and the littles! read more

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! Let me just say that the owners are the absolute best people we have met since moving out to Valley Center 9 years ago! I chaperoned our daughter's 1st Grade class field trip the first visit to SoCalMiniPigs and she made me swear we would go back again with our whole family soon... So, we all took a family trip back to the farm and loved it even more than the first time! Such an amazing experience for all our children (I can't lie, I enjoy all those sweet animals even more!) and the memories made... PRICELESS. If you're looking for a real wholesome family/friend experience... Look no further than SoCalMiniPigs! Best money I ever spent and we are already booking again... We had a blast! Time slots are for an hour, and honestly it was more than enough for us to hang out with the piggies. They provide a basket of lettuce to feed the animals, it's $5 for a refill. I love that there was a sitting bench area with shade. They also had a water mist spraying the whole time. It was probably for the piggies but it was great to have because at some point it was hot! There was chickens, goats, a cow, sheep, turkey and a mini horse. The piggies were mainly out and about, the rest of the animals were lounging in the back or fenced away. It was a good amount of people but not crowded. There was enough piggies for you to hang with. Parking is a little complicated, you are basically parking on dirt/grass. If the lower level is full, you drive up a dirt hill to park at the second level. The owners were super nice and friendly! Be ready to get dirty, there is mud and poop. read more

SoCal Mini Pigs is truly a special place. The communication before the visit was detailed and helpful. The property presents very charming and inviting. I bought this as a gift for my daughter Christmas 2024. She had such an amazing time, she said it was definitely worth the weight because we got to see baby pigs and baby goats. The owners were very intentional to make sure that everybody had the best experience possible. I love that the guests were all different ages. Please take the time to make the drive, turn off your cell phones except for photo opportunities and enjoy. You will love it read more

So Cal Mini Pig Farm is the BEST! So relaxing and fun at the same time. The baby pigs were so AWESOME. All the other animals rock as well, the goats were very friendly and in your face and the sheep and mini cow were also nice animals. Watch out for Carlos the turkey...LOL! He like to take all the food. And I would like to add how friendly and hospitable Sandrap and little Weston were. Sandra was so inviting and a gracious host, the wine was great and the snacks were healthy and fresh....and little Weston, I will be voting for him when he runs for class president. The piglets gladiator wrestling in the mud pit was the best part of my visit-and my day!

We had the absolute time of our lives at this farm! I came here with my husband and our toddler to celebrate her 2nd birthday as she is a big animal-lover. And, over the zoo, aquarium, and Disneyland, I'm so glad we chose this farm. The drive from our home is an hour away but it was worth it. The owners were very welcoming and gave us a bucket of lettuce to feed and befriend the animals with. They talked to the guests the whole time we were there and even offered to take our pictures. My personal favorites were the white dog (I didn't catch his/her name) that kept asking for ear scritches, the strong-willed baby mini-pig who's a few days old but kept escaping her enclosure to socialize with the other animals, and Carlos the cool turkey, though, all the animals were so well-behaved. Lovely people, lovely animals, and lovely experience overall. I absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants a change of pace, disconnect from the city life for a bit, or just to recharge. 10/10! read more
