I was greeted through the microphone and they recommended some great options for my car. As soon as I stepped out of my car and into their lobby, I was offered coffee and some other beverages. They had a clean and well put together lobby unlike any other place I've been. The service was great! Before they wrapped up, they brought me out to do a quick run through and offer a couple of suggestions before leaving. They kept it real with me and offered services that the car genuinely needed. I never felt pressured. I also love the report they send you with recommended services so you can keep track! The free vacuum is a great perk as well! Challenging when a lot of people are using them but worth it. Sometimes some vacuums didn't really work so you just had to figure out which ones worked fine. Took my car there a few months ago when I moved back to California and they did a great job!

I was able to wait in the vehicle while they performed the service. They did a quick light inspection at the beginning of the service by checking the headlights, high beams, hazards and reverse lights. Tires were inspected during their multipoint inspection and fluids were topped off as needed before they pulled me through the bay. Excellent, thorough and efficient service and technicians were kind and courteous.

Like any terrible relationship, I have the feeling that if I bring up one, small, issue they will utilize that to open a can of worms and take all my money and then I'll leave. ...Wow. That analogy works really well but hits a little hard. ANYWAY. Eastman's has restored my faith in a healthy relationship. Car-wise. I'm working on the other stuff. I have been to this shop a few times because its location is near my work, but I will continue going there because of their honesty, dedication to service, and customer satisfaction. Every time I have been here they have always been AMAZING at being forthright. In one instance, their technicians looked over my vehicle and Larry (the owner) told me that...although they could do the work, to scout around. It may be more cost effective to go to a shop that specializes in what I had going on. (AMAZING. A place that's honest and will take a customer's well-being over a credit card swipe). Another example is when I went there in the morning and asked if they could look at my battery. I could pick up my car later in the d... NOPE. Larry walked out with me. Looked it over. Grabbed a wrench. And fixed my issue within 5 minutes! When I asked the charge he, clearly joking, said, "I dunno...five bucks...?" (I did give him that $5). When my battery acted up again though, he was still there. He ran tests on it. We couldn't find the problem, and he apologize (which - I think it was a fluke...I haven't had an issue since) but he did recharge it for me. He also didn't actively seek to find other areas of improvement. He said there were more tests he could do but said, those take more time and are more expensive. We should see if this was just a one-off (it was) before going through all of that. His shop has probably saved me 100's of dollars. Honesty. Honesty is huge when building a rapport with customers and retention. Of course, quality technicians and work is required and Eastman's has that as well. I don't know much about cars so I can't really speak on technique. I just know this: When I need something fixed.. They fix it. It doesn't mess up again. (or) Eastman's will give me honest answers, recommend other avenues to resolve a problem (and) Charge fairly or just ask for $5.00.

I went to two other auto places to see if they could help me…read moreremove my rear brake light panel so I could get my brake light fixed and was told they wouldn't help me because they didn't want to break anything. My last stop was Brakes Plus in Grimes and Caleb not only removed the panel but fixed the light for me as well free of charge! I was able to take my trip down south to see my kids because Caleb was knowledgeable and experienced enough to help me! Management was friendly, the other techs were nice and I will definitely be back for future car needs! Keep up the great work! Please give Caleb a raise because a human that caring deserves it!

Went in for brakes on 2/28/23. Left with brakes and suspension all around. Car was noisier in the…read morefront end than when it went in. Oh, guess the tie rods need to be replaced too. Ok. And still not better. Two months go by and it's apparent that at least one of the new struts has failed. Confirmed by independent shop (our regular shop). Took the car back to Brakes Plus to have the strut replaced under warranty. Found out both struts failed. Interesting and pretty coincidental. Work done on 4/27/23. Went to pick it up after leaving it for a day. Was told there was issues with the stabilizer bars that had to be changed. When I looked surprised, the technician said "oh, didn't someone call you to talk about that?" No, no they did not. Two days later, I notice a lot of grease thrown around the driver side front wheel well. Closer inspection revealed several holes in the outer CV joint seal. Again went to independent shop and they said the holes were undoubtedly caused by heat from a torch, as when someone might cut away a seized bolt in a stabilizer link. At this point we've decided that B+ cannot be trusted to "fix" anything so we had our regular shop put a new CV joint on. All good now right? Nope! We started noticing more and more front end noise again over the next or so. Thought maybe the struts were going out again. Not the case though, as it was found that the bolts on the stabilizer links were not tightened by Brakes Plus. On one side the bolts were almost falling out and the other side were hand tight. We've tried multiple time to get this situation resolved and have only received cursory responses that offer nothing in the way of progress. And we've spent nearly $1,300 having these mistakes fixed elsewhere because we have no confidence that Brakes Plus could competently get us on the road again and not have another issue small or large. In short, if you value your time, money, and peace of mind that your driving a safe vehicle when you leave a repair shop, look somewhere else.

I live in the Wolf Creek subdivision, so it's literally within walking distance from my house. But that isn't the best part. The best part is the service. Cars are expensive these days. Of course, I take in my car regularly for oil changes and brake pads. Recently, I was having issues with the plastic in the front wheel-wells coming loose. They fixed that for me with no charge. Also, fairly recently, I needed an oil change on short notice due to an upcoming trip. I dropped off my car on a Thursday night after hours. They were able to work in my oil change on Friday. They don't recommend maintenance my car doesn't actually need, they've never surprised me with a bigger than expected bill, and they've been very flexible with scheduling. My wife tells me she's going to start taking her vehicle there, too.
