Then, they located shops near me and forwarded my contact info so I could see about getting my car looked at. I turned it in around noon and I got my vehicle back less than 24 hours after I brought it into the shop. The family owned business is honest, friendly, professional and a drive around the block was enough for the mechanic to know what the issue was (rear wheel bearings were shot). When they put it in the lift, they saw one of my struts needed to be replaced as well as rear brake pads when they took the wheel bearings off. The repairs were explained and even showed me the faulty parts when I came back the next morning. I didn't even ask to see it(which is what you should always do). Shop Manager Mike explained everything and mechanic Christian was efficient and thorough. The price was fair and I would definitely come back for any repairs. They're located right in Brooklyn Park.

I will write the review that I wish was on Yelp when I attempted to research this business…read more Approximately two and a half months ago, I was rear-ended by a lovely young lady that wasn't paying attention while driving. I called the Lexus dealership in Annapolis and was referred to JB's for repair. Pros: Really nice people, quick Turnaround (2 1/2 weeks) and collision repair knowledge. Cons: communication is ok; I would have liked more informed updates that discussed my out-of-pocket expenses when using this shop. This is why I want to put a warning if you use this particular shop. Warning: This is the only certified Lexus repair shop in the area that won't bring down their labor rate per hour. This will affect you because they are well above the insurance cap ( they charge 54 dollars, and state insurance companies cap at 50 dollars an hour). This means the difference will be paid by you, the consumer. Knowing what I have learned, I would have picked another place that wouldn't force me to pay additional fees even though their finished product was good. It is bad enough to get into an accident that isn't your fault but to have to pay the difference is even more traumatizing. I am fortunate that the insurance company waived the charges, but from what I hear, this isn't the norm. This shop is an excellent place if you are willing to pay 200-500 out of your pocket.

At the time, I trusted that the repairs would be completed properly and to industry standards. Unfortunately, during a recent repair, I discovered that some of the previous work had not been done correctly. Instead of replacing the damaged sensor mounts/brackets, they were simply glued back together. As a result, the current repair became more expensive and complicated than it should have been. For a brand-new vehicle, I expected the repairs to be completed the right way using the proper replacement parts, not temporary fixes. This experience has left me very disappointed in the quality of the workmanship and attention to detail. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend McCormick Auto Body and would encourage others to thoroughly inspect any repairs completed there.
