So I was rear-ended in Chicago April of 2022. I travel for a living so I had a hard time being in town when the park came in for my vehicle. Also, I had a hard time with the insurance company for a rental so it is taking me until just to pass months to get my truck into the shop for repairs. When I got there I pointed out to Kevin that they wrote on the estimate that the clips had came out of the front end and they need it to be replacing take into consideration. He's already been paid for the job. He's already cashed the check. He didn't even remember me until I refreshed his memory and he acted as if I was completely insane to think that the front clips were going to come out of my car by being rear-ended. We had a little scuffle. I apologize we moved on and he fixed the car 2 days later. I am driving down the road pull into a parking place. Put my car in reverse to back up and a huge light illuminated on my screen and said that I couldn't move because there was something there. But when I go back to look boost of the parking sensors are just dangling and I mean dangling they're just hanging there. So I called him and ask him if I could bring the truck by and he said yeah I get there and he says that the parking sensors come pre-installed on the bumper so it is no fault of his. But he's going to fix it. So tell me how can I get rear-ended 30 mph and those parking sensors didn't move. So how could I have hit a bump or something tapped me to knock them out. He insisted that I had been hit. To be honest, I'm having electrical problems with it and it hasn't moved my driveway since I picked it up. In addition, I've had nothing but problems since I picked it up. So to the end yesterday I called and asked him for an email address to send him some pictures because every time I talk to him it turns into an argument. I'm done with all the drama. I just want to send you the pictures. I'm going to fix it my self. I don't need you to do anything. I just wanted to make you aware because you assume responsibility for absolutely nothing. And I quote don't fix it. Bring it by. I'll fix it. I said I'm not complaining. I'm not trying to give you a hard time. I'm simply trying to show you what kind of work was done after they put the sensors in. They did a great job putting the sensors in unfortunately they didn't reattach the bumper. The clips were hanging out when I came out the next day. I seen a gap in the bumper and to this very minute 10:07 Thursday morning February 16th it still isn't fixed as he stood in the parking lot screaming at me that I just don't know what I'm talking about. He's been in this business his whole life. Well again. How could I get rear-ended 30 mph and nothing affected the parking sensors then yet they just fell out of the bumper he purchased for my car. Something's not right so I believe in telling the truth and you will realize that I'm right in saying he assumes responsibility for nothing. So when I told him the the clips weren't reattached to my bumper and there's an inch gap on one side and the other side. I reached my hand in there and just felt the clips. They're not even in the holes. He proceeded to tell me well ma'am and again I quote the man who brought it in here was anebriated I immediately looked at him and said this is exactly why I wanted to send you pictures and I wanted to put my bumper back on myself because I didn't want to deal with your nasty attitude ever again. Every time I go there he degrades me so I've read the other reviews online and I'm really happy that everyone else is happy. But this is the true. Kevin, my husband got upset with me for my arguing with him and I told my husband you don't understand how confrontational he is for him to have the audacity to tell me that my husband was drunk when he brought the car in there was totally uncalled for even if he had been and then he screamed at me as I am cussing him out pulling out of the parking lot. I'm going to tell everybody who you are. I'm going to tell him that you drink and drive. I had to laugh because I don't drink. My husband does drink I drive now my husband wants him to produce the 24-hour surveillance showing a customer complaining that they smelled alcohol on him and showing him laying on our vehicle with his head in his arms you know that could cause a divorce for someone other than us. He had no right putting that out there. Not even to me but regardless he was just looking for an excuse for their leaving my bumper hanging and not reattaching. So in closing I'm going to say if you're a man you're probably okay to take your vehicle in there, but he certainly has no respect for women. First of all, they are pretty rude from the beginning to the end and never apologize for their mistakes. Keep saying that I can't understand them. I had my car towed to this place on Friday 1pm and finally got estimate Tuesday 12pm. Initially, they told me to take my car back if I didn't like to wait for estimate. So I went back Monday evening to pick up my car but they refused to give it back, stating that the car is up on the lift and all the technicians left. I insisted on providing the estimate next morning. I asked if the estimate is done after 3 business days for a minor curb accident. Repair took 1.5 days. Got the car and had to go back to work right away. I knew something was wrong. The handles were very stiff and would not return back after turning it. This is what you get after $1325 mechanical damage repair bill. Now they blame on alignment guys not finding the issue with the car. "Well, the alignment guys didn't figure it out either." I could not go back next day, because they go on vacation Fri-Sun. I drove around with this stiff handle that would not return until next Monday. They did another estimate. Half day this time. Told me that steering rack is bad and would need to be replaced. Used parts go for $300 + labor (they don't know what the labor would cost). They havn't returned any phone calls for the whole week. I've noticed that my car makes metal clunk whenever I stop and accelerate. They don't look at the whole car. Just replace what's obvious and probably don't even test drive before giving it to you. I was involved in a pretty bad rear end collision in May 2014. This body shop did a great job aesthetically on my husband's car after a minor rear end collision earlier in the year, so I requested the car be towed to auto body plus. My car's rear end was completely mashed in, there was frame damage, and it was obviously a near total loss, if not a missed total loss. My car was a 2012 Hyundai sonata, and it came out to about 11k in damages. The body shop had my car done in two weeks. Two weeks was surprisingly short for a car so damaged, but I was excited either way. When I got it back, it looked great. But the airbag sensor was constantly on, which meant the airbags were basically deactivated. I called them and they said they couldn't fix it, and that it had to be taken to the dealer. Ok, fair enough, not a problem. Upon taking it to the dealer, the employee, who was either the head or the manager who was Hyundai certified and very experienced, told me the car needed to be completely redone. He said parts had been modified to fit, there were egg shaped holes in the parts where they were attached, parts didn't fit correctly. Most importantly, he told me that if this car were to be hit again, it would not crumple the way it's designed to and it is totally unsafe. He also said the paint didn't match. So I call auto body plus, send them the paper I got from the dealer's collision center. They agree to fix it. So I get my car back, and I Park it for less than 48 hours on the curb. I live in a private neighborhood with little traffic. When I get the car to auto body plus, I get a call two days later. "Your car was hit again. That's why your car isn't put together right." so since they made this ridiculous claim, they tried to tell me they weren't responsible for the faulty repairs because my car had been 'hit' again. They said they couldn't find evidence of a hit and run on their cameras, so they basically told me it had to have occurred within the 48 hours it was sitting at the curb. My car had no cosmetic damage when I took it in. I checked it over, I looked hard, and it looked fine. No scratches, dings, nothing. But since they made this claim, they didn't have to do the corrective repairs. Smart on their part, but I will never take my car to these crooks ever again. I ended up having to put in ANOTHER claim for a hit and run/uninsured motorist. What a mess. Don't trust these people. read more

This family owned and extremely friendly business went above and beyond for us. My husband and I had 3 vehicles repaired within two weeks let's just say bad thing happen in three's. With everything we had went through my husband severely rear ended in a hit and run. Then another car and I rubbed bumpers in a parking lot and the day my husband dropped his truck off he rear ended someone in my car. A terrible two weeks turned into a wonderful experience. The owner made sure that my husband's truck hitch was replaced with the upgraded one that was destroyed in the accident the insurance company was trying to give us a lesser version. My headlights were damaged behind the lenses and would have eventually failed had they not caught this and replaced them. They have our business for life and I would highly recommend them for any repairs you may need. read more

I dropped my Subaru Forester 2015 here because my darling husband backed into a dumpster. He ended up cracking my back panel just below the back window and putting a nice ding in my lift gate. I bought the replacement parts for my truck except clips thought it came with them. They painted the part to Match it looks beautiful. Fixed my ding. . This place has AWFUL customer service. They had our car for over 4 months! They were paid by our insurance company and they didn't even complete some of the work that they were paid for! The work that they did do was TERRIBLE. They glued parts on and you can see where the parts don't fit on the car correctly. They did work on the car that cost extra money and never asked us if it was okay to do. The invoice they gave us was hand written and it didn't show how they accounted for the money from the insurance company. I have contacted a lawyer and the BBB.
