This was a fun, unexpected spot to have a quick dinner. Décor: It's an interesting mix of boat house/dive bar. You can sit in the bar area or opt for the open "porch" like screened-in seating overlooking the pond. Food: I ordered some flatbreads on the first visit; super thin cracker-like crust, perfect! The candied garlic ribs were mind-blowing; yes, I said MIND BLOWING. On another visit, hubs and I both got the steak, and it was cooked perfectly with a nice seasoned crust topped with a blue cheese butter compound. Not something I expect at a divey-like place, but cool! Drinks: Hubs loves the flavored lemonades, and I get my usual cosmos. Very good, a Lil light-handed, but that is ok! Our first server, Lexi, was hysterical and honest with food suggestions! Plus, she loves to tell you to get dirty, Shirly! lol! The other time our bartender was spot-on and funny! Not expensive prices, not cheap food quality equals coming again another night! read more

Holy S! This place is great. Lynn's only waterfront dining. We knew 3 other tables of diners all checking it out after the fantastic Boston Globe review. We even knew Daisy- the bartender and hairstylist. Have anything on the menu. Have a salad. Have a hard lemonade. Have a skinny margarita. Just go! read more

I always drove by and wondered how it'll be like to sit by the water and have some drinks and food at the Four Winds and todays really happened. The food was amazing. The steak tips came out flavorful and cooked just like how we want it. The drinks were great too. I had the Lynn sunset. Made perfectly with the right amount of liquor. Get the fabulous hot pretzel app with cheese-mustard dip! Wide assortment of beers and house cocktails. Lovely view of Sluice Pond from the covered porch, open seasonally. Such a great surprise- bar food +++ Ribs are amazing, tacos fresh and so good. I also got food to go and LOVED the box for the tacos. Good food to go last week at Mexicali. And had 11 different containers.(all plastic.) here the box, healthy tackles, perfectly, without the need for all the different add in's! I stopped in today for lunch and when I left I wondered why I don't go there much more often. I had fish tacos and added avocado. it came with rice and beans that were also delicious. my friend had general Tao's pineapple chicken. she said it was outstanding. Even though it was a cloudy day, we sat on the outside balcony where we watched peop paddle up to the dock. The service was very good. I highly recommend this place. read more

I've lived in the area my whole life and never visited this amazing establishment. Came here on a Saturday night and got seated right away. Drinks to start were amazing from the spicy margarita to the coconut amnesia. I got the sticky ribs and my fiancé had the salmon. Both were perfect and the presentation was a 10. We've been to the Four Winds several times now and it's been good every time. Last night's experience was no different. Our server, CeCe, was friendly and accommodating and the food was good. I had the Caprese stuffed artichoke salad and the grilled pub steak with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus, and my wife had a house salad with steak tips and grilled asparagus. Both steak dishes were prepared as ordered and were delicious. They have a good selection of drinks and margaritas as well as draft and bottled beer. As good as the food and service is, what really sets the Four Winds apart is the view over Sluice Pond which the restaurant has dubbed Lynnapesaukee. We arrived just before sundown and enjoyed the sun setting over the water. Many nearby residents visit the restaurant by boat and dock at the slip by the back deck. We saw at least four parties of boaters depart the restaurant and make their way home across the pond. It's a beautiful sight and a little slice of heaven that many drivers making their way through Wyoma Square many not even be aware exists. There's no call-ahead seating or reservations which, honestly, can be a blessing when making last minute plans. Also the restaurant doesn't have a parking lot, but there's always been plenty of on street parking available when we've been there. read more

Growing up on Lynnfield Street I would pass 4 winds bar daily on my way to school. This was the 1970's back then it was a dive bar, so when I returned to Lynn after years of living in Texas it was a pleasant surprise to see 4 Winds turn into am amazing Pub and Grill. Love the food, service and welcoming atmospher. Unfortunately I was unab to return to Lynn due to the Pandemi. Hopefully I will return soon. read more

It wasn't a bad place but it definitely was someplace I would go back to. The inside is very small and the deck is a long wait.i got the chicken broccoli ziti and it was decent but definitely not my favorite place. they don't have much as far as kids menus are concerned so that part kinda stinks. A lovely late-summer day overlooking the pond - breezes blowing over us through the screens ... perfect! We ordered the pulled pork sandwich, pretzel bread with Gouda cheese dip, tempura shrimp, and fried avocado wedges. Everything was perfect except for the avocado - it was overfried, brown and not good (was taken off our bill). Waitress was great! We will return. read more

I got the General Tso's chicken served on a grilled pineapple. The presentation was great and the dish was flavorful - I just wished they make a more authentic general Tso's chicken instead of cut up chicken tenders, but I still enjoyed it. Everyone else said their food was pretty good. I also had the spicy pineapple margarita which I loved. Service was slow but I think they may have been short staffed. read more

I'd been wanting to try this place for a while and was pleasantly surprised! Looks like a dive bar (which I live) from the outside but it has amazing views and top notch food inside! Service was quick and friendly. We got the ribs for an app and they were some of the best ribs I've ever eaten. I got the fish tacos for my meal and they were huge and yummy. My husband got the crab cake sandwich and he really liked it. We couldn't order drinks because we were on lunch break but we will definitely be back. read more

So.....Patrick has a great menu, great food.... but after getting check and seeing $3.50 for a diet coke.....then having the audacity to charge another $3.50 for a refill.... I'm beyond pissed. Who does that? Its not like I had 4 refills... I had 1. Total cost $7.00 Kinda sleazy. read more

Love, love, love this restaurant! Best place for outdoor eating and drinking. Great drinks like the homemade hard lemonades and the food is the best on the North Shore! The tacos are the absolute best! The shrimp tacos are my favorite...so delicious. Grilled shrimp in flour tortillas with lettuce, cheese, pico de gallo and chipotle aioli. I want to like this place! It is close to my house and it has an amazing view.. but they just can't get it together. The food itself is ok, but the wait staff is slow and inaccurate. Tonight we had to ask for silverware 3 times, got the wrong meal, and our appetizer came out after our meal, and cold. We had a similar experience 2 years ago and thought we'd give it another try. The Good: Pulled pork pizza was outstanding, service was good, side salad was one of the best I've had. The Bad: Table was undersized for 4 people, afternoon sun was roasting us.....curtains were needed, the steak tips were horrible, not tips but sirloin cut from a roast (cut into cubes) and it was way over priced @ 18 bucks for 4 undersized pieces. I ordered rare and they came out med/med rare and were very tough. Maybe just caught it on a bad day, it was my first trip there and had lots of friends with good reports. read more

My wife took me here as a surprise & I saw it from the street I would have driven right by & as we were going in I was like omg who told her about this place?? But omg this place is AWESOME I was totally blown away they have a short rib app meat comes right off the bone & they have a spinach artichoke & roasted tomato Mac & cheese to die for we sat at the bar & the bartender was awesome super friendly she recommended some great food choices . Established in 1939.

The Four Winds Pub and Grill is the oldest continuously operated pub in the city of Lynn. Sitting on the waterfront of "Lake Lynnipesaukee", the Four Winds is a place reminiscent of a rustic lake country retreat. In 2012-13, the Four Winds underwent extensive renovation. It currently features a fireplace, new state of the art kitchen, and a 75 seat covered waterfront patio with a full service outdoor bar and boat docking for patrons. The patio is well known for its spectacular sunsets and is hugely popular throughout the season. A full chef driven menu is available along with full bar and sixteen draught beer lines. The Four Winds also features regularly scheduled live music and food and game day specials.

On our first night in Salem, my friends and I chose this place for dinner, and we were immediately glad we did. Every dish tasted homemade and full of flavor, and the service, especially from our server Elisha, was warm, attentive, and personable. We started with the charred broccoli mac & cheese, which arrived piping hot and baked to perfection. Every bite was rich, creamy, and delicious. Honestly, it's up there with the best mac & cheeses I've ever had. For entrées, we shared the shepherds pie and the steak tips. The shepherds pie, made with a hearty mix of lamb, beef, peas, carrots, house mashed, and cheddar cheese, was fresh and perfectly balanced. The steak tips were cooked to our liking, tender, and seasoned beautifully. Both dishes were comforting and satisfying. Olde Main Street Pub delivered exactly what we were hoping for: great food, genuine service, and a cozy atmosphere. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in Salem.

Some bullshit frozen garbage either drowned in cheap truffle oil, or "dusted" with truffle salt. Well, they don't do that crap here, however they do garlic fries. Hand cut, with whole cloves of roasted garlic all over. Not one or two cloves, like several heads worth of glorious, slow-roasted garlic. I managed to scrounge a couple spoonfuls of the kids mac&cheese from my son, almost lost a finger in the attempt and I found out why. They put just as much effort into the kids food as the adults. We also had a chance to try their burgers and WOW, every bite we took left us just wanting more and their fries were also amazing as well.
