Service was outstanding. Helpful with both drinks and food menu. Recruited other diners to tell us what food they were enjoying!! Garlic sticky ribs were to die for and way too much on a full rack plate. Chix wings app (in sweet chili sauce) didn't last long on our table as we gobbled them up. Friend had the General Tso chicken with veggies and rice and thought it was great too. I just ate a quarter of the ribs cold for lunch and liked them even better! Go go go

Holy S! This place is great. Lynn's only waterfront dining. We knew 3 other tables of diners all checking it out after the fantastic Boston Globe review. We even knew Daisy- the bartender and hairstylist. Have anything on the menu. Have a salad. Have a hard lemonade. Have a skinny margarita. Just go!

I always drove by and wondered how it'll be like to sit by the water and have some drinks and food at the Four Winds and todays really happened. The food was amazing. The steak tips came out flavorful and cooked just like how we want it. The drinks were great too. I had the Lynn sunset. Made perfectly with the right amount of liquor. I definitely will go back.

I've lived in the area my whole life and never visited this amazing establishment. Came here on a Saturday night and got seated right away. Drinks to start were amazing from the spicy margarita to the coconut amnesia. I got the sticky ribs and my fiancé had the salmon. Both were perfect and the presentation was a 10. Out waitress was amazing and the view was perfect.

I stopped in today for lunch and when I left I wondered why I don't go there much more often. I had fish tacos and added avocado. it came with rice and beans that were also delicious. my friend had general Tao's pineapple chicken. she said it was outstanding. Even though it was a cloudy day, we sat on the outside balcony where we watched peop paddle up to the dock. The service was very good. I highly recommend this place.

Last day of vacation and again just driving around seeing the sites. Susan was a great server!…read more Kept it simple today. I had the Nikki salad. Husband had the clam chowder and haddock sandwich with onion rings. The food was great and exactly what we were looking for. The clam chowder was one of my favorites from all we sampled this trip. The addition of dill put it over the top! Seems to be another hot spot in Swampscott. Very busy place and a lot of locals. Glad we found it!!

Good food. Dishonest pricing…read more I dined here yesterday, July the 4th. I ordered the fish-and-chip and a beer, and asked about substitutions for the fries. Among the many options presented, I chose the Caesar salad. The total for this meal? $49! (!!) The fish was listed on the menu as "market price." I neglected to ask what the price of roughly six ounces of fried white fish was at the "market" but discovered when the check came that it's $34. I'm not a fine-diner, but I'm pretty sure that 34 bucks typically gets you a much nicer dish at a much nicer restaurant. Charging that much for fish and chips is frankly dishonorable...but I guess it's part-and-parcel of the "get while the getting's good" ethic driving the affordability crisis in this country. Next, to the salad: I was charged $5 for the substitution, though the server did not warn me about this upcharge. Personally, I think it's understood when you ask about substitutions, that you are asking about FREE substitutions. If there's an incremental charge to substitute, say, a potato for french fries (I'm sure there is at Dockside, and I'd guess it's larger than it shuld be), it's incumbent on the server to declare it. Otherwise, what makes it a "substitution?" To summarize: nice enough place, greedy owners, OK but ultimately deficient service. Eat here if you want to spend $55 or so on an acceptable dinner that should cost 30 percent less.

This place is great! Seems like most patrons feel the same way…read more Food is delicious and everything is a great choice. They have rotating specials all the time, but their regular menu is so good that I just can't move away. Their smash burger is fantastic, but their salads are nice and hefty, so even if you're trying to eat light, you leave full and satisfied. Caesar salads are simple and standard everywhere, but I'm always happy with the one I get from Murray's - well dressed with a yummy cheese crisp on top. Their wings are delicious, always come out piping hot, and have a creative array of sauces. The variety of fries are impressive too and all of them are delicious (though, when are fries really not delicious?!) My favorite thing about Murray's is the front outdoor seating area. When the weather is a bit cooler, they'll turn on the gas heaters, so you can have a comfortable meal and still enjoy some fresh air. But what makes it truly my favorite is that it's dog friendly! It's always so tough to find spots that allow dogs, but Murray's staff is always so kind to us when we bring our dog with us for dinner, and they'll even bring out a bowl of water for him. Good service comes from the top, and we've met John, who is incredibly nice and friendly. Conversations with him are consistently pleasant and we love that he's always open to sharing what he knows about food and drink! The staff also provides kind, speedy service, which we definitely appreciate. The only negative about Murray's is the fact that we only found them a year ago and hate that we didn't find out about them sooner!

Very personable and welcoming. Food delicious! Felt warm and comfortable. Enjoyed the experience!read more
