First time here is 30 years. I used to work up here and this was our go to back then. Tony's didn't disappoint! Great menu and good beer list. Nice big square bar. Service was great and it's the cheers of Lynn! Cash only so be warned. Steak tips I had were really good and my buddy had the fish and chips which he said were the best he's ever had. A definite stop here is required if you're eating in Lynn. read more

This was my first time visiting Tony's we live in Wyoma Square and it's just been easy to walk to the restaurants here. However what a diamond in the rough. Tony's was delightful, the bartenders were very attentive, kind and conversational. We ordered Wings, Buffalo chicken Wrap, and the sausage sandwich. Everything was hot, fresh and tasty. We will most definitely be back. read more

Everything grilled is good. Burgers, steak tips, are bomb. One surprise I found was that the steak fries taste better than almost all other fries I've had. They also have beer on tap to wash the grub down with. read more

Tony's Pub & Grill - Steak and cheese egg rolls * Fried Pickles * Lemon drop Martini - American Near Me - Lynn, Massachusetts

I regret going to this place!! I had the worst experience ever. If I could give them a negative star I would. After arriving I sat for about 10-15 minutes at the bar before I was even acknowledged. I sat there and watched CHRIS check in with everyone but me then proceeded to play on his phone. He eventually asks me if I would like to order something. I requested a menu to view and he responds "I am your menu" . I then ask again, are there no menus? Chris responds no! So I then continue to look at the dry erase menu on the wall that has none of the things that I came for. I now had to ask the TRAINEE if they sold chicken fingers or just wings. I ordered Chicken fingers and ONION rings to eat while I wait for my to order of steak tips to go. Which I have no idea how much they cost until I requested my bill because they don't have menus. I received my chicken finger and FRENCH FRIES which I didn't order. Right before he placed the food he couldn't wait to say "oh cash only here" Isn't this something you start off with before you start serving anything? I felt like he wanted to wait to do this when the food came. No problem I go the atm and get cash. No signs by the way stating cash only. As I'm sitting enjoying my chicken and margarita I see 2 ladies sit at the bar and was greeted immediately and handed menus. After going to the atm I had to really calm Myself. I hate that society makes us feel like we have to tip even when our service is trash!!! Not happening anymore with me! After paying my bill and withholding the tip that was planned I asked Chris! So why when I asked for a menu, you told me you didn't have any but gave to those 2 ladies? He then tries to back peddle and say ohhhh it's a misunderstanding! Then proceeded to say we don't have drink menus. We have these. Why wasn't I offered these when I came?. Trying to gaslight! Wrong one Chris! You acknowledged and gave them menus as soon as they came in but treated me like crap! Chris doesn't like black people and it's obvious. I'm in champions every other week and never ever experienced anything like this. CHAMPIONS for the win. POC are not welcomed here! And their steak tips are trash! read more

Let me start with the owners personality, Amazing! Greeted us instantly and introduced himself, Tony. We had some small talk about acquaintances and he recommended the seafood quahogs! If you like lobster, scallops and shrimp, you gotta try em! We also got the steak and avocado tacos, as equally delicious. Oh, to add to the list of food we ordered, the wings. Split an order to have Carolina BBQ sauce and sweet chilli sauce! Ooooof! Can't stop eating. Now one more thing. The Tata-tots!! They are off the charts! Great experience from all aspects, so you gotta try this place!! read more

Excellent super wonderful. I was passing through town as a tourist from Miami FL. Very good food. I enjoyed my meal. Thank you again.

Rare 5 Star Review Where do I start with this wonderful place. To say we were caught off guard by the coolness, setup, and the amazing kitchen army they have here is an understatement. Setup: Bar holds about twenty with over 15 TV's around it. Open Kitchen from the side view Booths and high tops wrapped around the rest of the place Bathrooms on each side of the place so you're not trekking through people to get to it. * You can't get a bad seat to watch any game you want to see. This isn't a very large place but it fills up and weirdly it fits the people in comfortably. Bustling atmosphere. Kitchen and Food: Open Kitchen Food Made to Order Crazy Affordable Top Notch Food Hardest Working Kitchen Staff Amazing Meal Specials * Breading chicken cutlets to order, cutting steaks to order, and an amazing chargriller. The steak tips, turkey tips, burgers, and salads are phenomenal. Turkey Tips are my favorite. I am not exaggerating that everything is made to order and you can watch them. I watched the kitchen for about ten minutes in amazement. TIP: 20 Ounce Sirloin dinner, cut to order, grilled perfectly with 2 sides for 24 bucks. Ridiculous Tony's does everything right, food, atmosphere, and drinks for an amazing value. The turkey tips pic tgat I posted was $11.95 (seriously in this economy). This place is fixture in the community for a reason. The owner is a very nice man as well. A top 5 spot in Massachusetts in my opinion, can't say enough about it. Enjoy!! Thanks read more

Chicken wrap, delicious, French onion soup very tasty, steak tips cooked a perfection, I like their mushroom burgers. Also the onion rings are delicious. Oh let me say anywhere else. It would be a large but Tony's fried pickles is a small, but it is so huge that's my wife's favorite. Also the bartenders are so friendly there and the waitress staff is friendly. Also, it is a neighborhood bar so it gets crowded gets a little noisy but it's a neighborhood bar give it a try. read more

He was t services. Onion rings were amazing, as were the chicken tenders. I had Caesar salad which was a lot of the rib pieces of lettuce and the dressing is a vinaigrette and not creamy. It was just ok. The grilled chicken I had on top was delicious and tender. I would go back. read more

Visited Tony's for the first time tonight & I can't wait to go back. Great vibe, food, and service from Chris. I always see people online talking about the french onion soup and it 100% deserves every word of praise and is the best I've ever had. Steak tips are good, but the marinade is a little sweeter than I prefer. Nonetheless, they were a good cut & cooked perfectly medium as ordered. Good beer selection & my Guinness was ice cold with a perfect head. read more

Great food and outstanding service. The kitchen did a great, great job in preparation of all meals.

We are visiting and this place is clearly a local's joint but they went out of their way to get us sat immediately despite being packed. Horrible. Waited 45 minutes for meal. Cold and horrible. Returned one and tried to eat the other. Steak tips horrible again. Never an offer to refund. Then for the bill. Plate was full and obviously not eaten . All cash only. So we never got an itemized bill just number $96.50. Horrible horrible horrible make sure you check your pockets. Lost two winning keno tickets from that was waiting to be cashed out. Bartender could have cared left. $41 in winning gone. Corrupt. read more

I live in Lynn and went to Tony's pub & Grill with my sister to get takeout, when we walked in the bartender looked at us up and down didn't even greet us and yelled at us we have no seats first of all she was not wearing a mask the bar was full everyone drinking with no food there must of been at least 30 people on top of each other with no mask we saw tables full , what happen to social distant I was shocked that the bartender was so rude and we were trying to get take out , I feel she was racist , rude and wasn't wearing a mask and serving people at the bar with no food . That place needs to be shutdown for not following the rules no wonder Lynn is high risk with Covid. read more

Started going to Tony's to avoid the crunch of Salem in October to watch baseball and football and found a great new place to hang out. Bartenders were great, other customers were cordial and friendly. Don't take credit cards but there is an ATM there. I have read some negative reviews that seem so different from what I experienced, food is typical pub fare, portions are huge and prices are reasonable..... its a great place to watch a game. read more

Returned to this establishment to give them a second chance , it's a cool place to catch a game ,and have some bar food . Atmosphere upbeat and welcoming. Bartender Chris attentive and pleasant. Food was delicious..well done all around. Will be back soon!

Tony's is a great little place you've probably driven by 1,000 times and didn't give a second thought to.Full disclosure - I am a fan of dive bars, but I would definitely put Tony's a step above the dive bar category. Great sports bar ambiance. The actual bar itself is in the middle, with booths on both sides of the bar. Bartenders have always been great to us. There are tons of TVs.. I mean enough that they could put every sport on at once. Keno. We've had their buffalo wings with drinks, and they're really good. Their menu is pretty large, so there's probably something for everyone in your group. Their prices are hard to beat, especially for drinks. They're very cheap which is a big plus. Only drawbacks are parking is not great (street) and they only take cash-- no plastic. read more

Heard about this place while on a beach in Aruba. Kept hearing about the French onion soup as well as the portion sizes and prices. Drive down to Lynn for lunch and this place has "it". "It" being a cozy atmosphere, great bar area, an absolute ton of TVs and unbelievable food. Started off with the French onion soup which was the best I've had. Moved along to the chicken fingers. Hand breaded and huge! At the suggestion of the bartender, I tried the buffalo sauce. This isn't your typical buffalo sauce and I highly suggest it! read more

Beer is always flowing, the crowd is awesome and they just recently remodeled and made it bigger. The beer is cheap, and the mixed drinks are strong. Two good combos in any bar, especially in Lynn. The downside is the parking is street and at busy times very very hard to come by a close spot. But there is a pizza place next door that is open late so you can satisfy any pizza craving there while you drink. Bonus Bonus Bonus. Great group behind the bar too. I like Tony's. It's like Cheers but in Lynn and actually welcoming, unlike the Cheers in Boston. read more

This has been my husbands bar of choice since he was of age, and he was the one who introduced me to it. Cute inside, friendly bartenders, and a cool hook game that had me playing for hours the last few times I was there. I cannot explain it so you just need to check it out for yourself haha :) The drinks are cheap, its in my home-town, and its close to fast food for everyone who gets the drunk munchies after last call. The only thing that kinda blows is the parking, but it's never been so bad where we've decided to go somewhere else. I've never tried the food but I'm thinking I just might have to next time & I'll be sure to update! read more
