What a nice local spot! We went on a Monday, which is music bingo night and burgers starting at $5. My partner and I decided not to participate in music bingo, but we still had fun trying to guess the songs before the names popped up. The music bingo did definitely make it noisy in the restaurant - we didn't really mind but just something to be aware of. The vibe of the Endicott Grille is very much a local, neighborhood, bar where regulars and groups of friends have hung out for years. My partner and I are in our early 20s and we were by far the youngest people there. Service took a little while, they do seem to be a little understaffed or maybe it was just busy that night, but our waitress was very sweet and made sure we were taken care of. I ordered the classic burger and substituted the fries for sweet potato fries (regular fries are included in the special, my substitution added $1 to the order, and I felt it was very worth it). The burger was very large and I felt that it was an excellent deal for only $6. My partner got a different burger and kept the regular fries, which were seasoned nicely, although I did prefer the sweet potato ones. Overall we had a very nice experience and I would definitely return to enjoy their burger special again! read more

This place was great! I was told about their $5 burger night and figured I'd give it a try after work. The place was pretty tame but still had a good vibe for a bar and grille. The bartender was kind and made sure I was all set. Very personable staff as well; there were a lot of locals, and he just knew them all by name. The burger itself was pretty good (a little greasy), and the fact that it came with fries for $5 makes it a fantastic deal! Also, Monday nights are music bingo, so I stayed for a little bit to play a card. It's a dollar to play a card, and there are three rounds where you can win a gift card in each round. Each round also has a different theme, and the price for the card went up with each round (as did the cash prize). I thought this place was great, and I had fun going solo! Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to go out on a Monday but keep it low-key at the same time. read more

Have been consistently going with either my friends or wife for the past 3 years. Tuesdays and Sundays are/have been our favorite due to the entertainment and bartender. Tuesdays have open mic and Sunday karaoke. MURPH!!!!!! He is the bartender every place wants. Greets everyone with a smile, knows there names and introduces new customers to regulars; creates a great atmosphere. Sadly, we were informed he was removed from Tuesdays; therefore myself, my friends and a few other patrons at the bar will no longer be attending Tuesday nights now.... Just not the same. Come join for a good time on Sunday though; you will be treated like friends and enjoy the atmosphere. Hopefully in the future the bartender will return on Mic night- as we will too- for more laughs and enjoyment. read more

May 4, 2024 IF you take nothing else away from this review, take this: STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT. I have had a worse lunch experience maybe two other times in my 50+ years. That's how bad this one was. In order of priority, let's review: the French Onion soup was salty and one-note. The cheese that they used - instead of Emmentaler or similar - was mozzarella or another least-cost cheese. It wasn't even put under the broiler properly!! Beyond those faults, the onions weren't sliced properly and were too large. The bottom line was that it wasn't worth eating. ($5.99) The Turkey Club sandwich that I ordered ($13.99) was.... Horrible. I had ordered it without the red onion that the menu said they used - since I'm allergic to the damned red bulbs- but it still came to the table with them plainly evident. I called my waitress and pointed it out to her and she was embarrassed for the restaurant because she had done her duty and notified the kitchen (see attached photo). When the turkey club was re-made and brought to the table, I discovered that it was truly terrible- since they smeared it with a god-awful chipotle garlic aioli mayonnaise that completely destroyed the underlying flavors of the sandwich. Worse, the French fries- which I have to admit were sparkling hot and fresh - were so covered with a Tex-Marx seasoning that they were inedible. I ended up taking them home and putting them in my mulch bucket. The only thing that was served that I judged decent was the coffee. I had a Groupon for $20.00, so the "meal" came to $3.10. I left a tip of $3.90 because I felt bad for my waitress, Lisa. One final thing: the restaurant has pretty much the worst ambience of any place that I've been into as a customer in 20+ years. The music is loud, intrusive, and obnoxious. I should have known better, but I didn't leave when I first heard it. Do yourselves a favor and keep your distance from this place. It's awful and really should be put out of its misery- like a rabid animal. read more

Love that they were open late! Our flight was delayed so we were looking for anything open. Got it to go so the fries with the sandwich were a bit limp, they could be better if we got them fresh. I live that they offer a homemade veggie burger. My mom got the haddock sandwich and the portions were HUGE. also of you check in you get a free appetize, but they didn't seem to know what Yelp was, so that was interesting. The only thing is they didn't give any silverware or napkins with the Togo order. The flatbread was ok, nothing to write home about. read more

We went there for late lunch after 2, the place looked nice and clean. The food probably was good too -- unfortunately we didn't have a chance to try it. There were no host or sign " please seat yourself " but eventually the bartender greeted us and told us to pick our own seats. The bar was almost full but the rest of the place was empty. We waited and waited and waited ... and finally got menus and got our water, and then I was dumb enough to mention that i have a groupon. The waiter / host/ keno cashier / bartender had no idea what this thing was ( it's totally fine) and offered to get his manager. He returned quickly and said that he could not find her so i said it's fine. And we waited more and little more ... and after over half an hour we left. I would give 5 stars to this poor employee who had to cover the whole place! He was nice and polite and managed to crack jokes with people at the bar yet he couldn't physically everywhere. Went for lunch not very busy on that rainy day. Staff is nice and efficient. I asked for my burger medium but it came well done but still juicy. They offered to send it back but my yankee upbringing won't let me waste food. The burger was the mushroom burger and it was good and the sides as well. DO NOT GO HERE! Stopped in for a quick bite and drink after shopping. The service was very slow. There was only 2 other people at the bar. The bartender was clearly too busy gambling and paying attention to the football game. He also would not stop playing with his hair behind the bar which is just not sanitary. The nachos finally came out and were actually decent and I thought maybe I was being a tough critic until a mouse came out from a table and started to run around. We informed the bartender and his response was to laugh at us and say "well it's just that time of year, there's nothing I can do about it." The food at Endicott Grille is OUTSTANDING. This place punches way above its weight. Having eaten a number of things off the menu over a number of visits, I can say the burgers are fantastic and the best around to be found (and Monday is $8 burgers), the Parmesan Baked Haddock is TO DIE FOR, the Shrimp Scampi is fantastic, and the chicken stir fry is wonderful. The only thing I ordered which I thought was merely OK was the chicken parmigiana sub - it was good enough but not fantastic like most everything else is. They also have $5 appetizers before 6pm, and we usually order the nachos which are great. Overall, the food is high quality, prepared with care, and VERY REASONABLY PRICED. It seems most people go to Endicott Grille and sit at the bar and eat and drink. We pretty much just eat there, and I do believe that if the public understood how great the food truly is, the place would be even busier. Strongly recommended!! read more

This place has gone out of business multiple times. Now it's endicott grille. I've given it a couple tries but they're just SO SLOW. You can tell they're desperate to turn a profit so most things are overpriced. They have "The View" talk show on TV instead of the Red Sox on any TV. It was dead on a Saturday, I wanted to give them one last chance, but I'm currently waiting on my meal and I've been here an hour....... My son got the chicken pie huge crock loaded with chicken and veggies, he thought the crust had a funny taste to ut and the mashed he thought we instant. But he enjoyed the pie itself. My daughter git the chucjen oarm sub, which was big, she took 1/2 home. My Mom got the appertizers chicken tacos which she reall liked. I got the 1lb of mixed veggies which were cooked perfect with a piece of salmon, which was jyst cooked slightly to much, but still good. Place was ckean and service was wonderful. Definitely did not have a good experience here. Our bartender kept forgetting our drink and food orders repeatedly and also was drinking with the customers and on her phone. Also her mask was off her face half the time. When our food came out I ordered scallops with rice pilaf and got scallops with jasmine rice and the scallops were mildly warm. My wife's Ruben was terrible. The bread was burnt to hell after telling them it was cold the first time she got it. It took use a total of two and a half hours to drink and eat a meal that should have taken maybe an hour. The place wasn't even that packed. Sloppy bar service all around. Feel like a bar rescue scenario would happen here. Not recommending here. read more

I have been to the Endicott Grill about 5 times in the last couple of months. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. Some of my favorite things are the fried calamari and homemade onion rings. They are crispy and not greasy. The burgers are big and juicy served with tots or fries. I have also had the fried clams which are delicious. They are small and again, crispy not greasy. Unfortunately this is not a standard menu item. You can only get it occasionally as a special. Having said that, the fried fish sandwich is excellent as well. One of my favorite things about the menu is for several of their sandwich offerings you can have them made into either a club sandwich or a Reuben for only a two dollar up charge. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I will be going back soon and I recommend that you check it out as well. read more

What a great way to start the evening with family. Although it was early on Saturday night (5:30) and a little embarrassing to be among the first diners, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I ordered a special -teriyaki salmon. It was the perfect meal for me with a generous filet of sesame seed salmon atop a beautifully cooked, crunchy Asian veggies on a bed of jasmine rice. So flavorful! Others in my family had chicken piccata (excellent),fried haddock dinner (huge!), and gluten free chicken pot pie (full of chicken and veggies but very salty). We stopped in last night after ordering successful delivery about a month ago. My fiance was happy to find Scallops Fra Diavolo on the specials for the day. I went with the Cubano sandwich. Both were delicious and served in a reasonable amount of time. The only thing that prevented a 5 star rating is that he would have liked bread with his meal to sop up the remainder of the slightly watery sauce. We will be coming back often. read more

Very nice atmosphere and if you're a sports fan the bar's TVs are perfectly positioned. The expert draw on the Guinness was just right and produced a creamy head; the Aligash White was really cold! The chowder was delicious, full of clams and good stuff and was served piping hot. We only stopped in for a quick pick me up while running errands, but we will definitely be back soon for dinner. Ordered a burger, medium rare for pick-up the burger was so burnt on one side it straight up separated from the other rock hard half. I also got a cuban, extremely dry and the pork tasted very, unseasoned and microwaved. or in their case probably just heated up real quick on a flat top. I also live 5 minutes away, less. I understand when meat rests, it continues to cook. that doesn't explain the half an inch char on either side of the burger. Would not go back. It'll probably end with the same fate as Osborn Tavern and Haileys. read more
