We had an amazing server named Stevie. Since this was our first time here, she walked us through a lot of different options and was very helpful with suggestions. I wanted to survey the different beers and made my own flight. Their flagship Kilt Lifter won out. If you come, you must order the chicken rolls with the incredible guac sauce. Stevie mentioned that if we really enjoyed that, we should get the fries with the chipotle sauce and, my friends, she was not wrong. Beer-battered and tasty. Still my favorite place for food and beers! We got the Abe Froman pizza and it was delicious. For beers, we always get the Wow-zy (combo of the Wow and AZ Hazy). Another time we went, we got fish and chips, extra crispy on the fries. They made the fish extra crispy aka burnt... so make sure to emphasize extra crispy on the item that you want! If there's a wait, you can get a beer outside while you wait! There's TVs for sports outside as well which was nice. read more

And although I did not get to try any of their house brews, I'm sure it's all good judging by how many people were in the restaurant on a Thursday evening. Was working Final Four in Phoenix a couple weeks ago and staying by ASU. Been wanting to come by here the next time I was in Phoenix so I finally did and it was actually really cool. Very big outside and really large inside. A lot of TVs and the bar is huge. Monday thru Thursday is $15 for a pitcher and pizza. Can't go wrong. With spooky season amongst us, let's first talk about their haunted brewery tour. Yes, you heard right: a ghost tour! You can purchase tickets on their website. As seen on Ghost Adventures: Season 28, Episode 13, "Terror in Tempe," our beloved Four Peaks appears to be haunted. And for $35 (which includes a short tour, a t-shirt, and a small pitcher of beer), you can see, feel, and hear for yourself. While I didn't experience any spooks, maybe you will have a different experience. A tip though if you do go on their ghost tour: Stand by the sign-in podium to grab one of their limited EMF detectors. Ghost Adventures had given them some EMF detectors as a gift! As for the food and beer? Still got it! I has the Oktoberfest, Pumpkin Porter, and the Joy Bus WOW Wheat Ale this time around but their Peach Golden Ale is my usual go-to. And since we were imbibing on so much beer, I shared some nachos with the addition of blackened chicken with the table. When it comes to nachos, I become Ariana Grande: I see it, I like it, I want it, I got it! Don't judge me. They have an Oktoberfest event coming up so if you want tickets, get them soon. Came here one evening prior to a concert at Mullet Stadium. We had a group of 7 ladies.. One of us had made a reservation online but when we got there found out it was not made somehow. The hostess was still able to get us in after waiting about 10 minutes or so even though the place was empty. However, I have to say by the time we left the place was fully packed! Had a great specialty craft cocktail menu that everyone loved. Couple of us had different types of pizzas. The ones that had the vegetarian pizza really liked it. I personally had the margarita pizza and it was the most flavorless pizza I've ever eaten. Bland, bland. There was no sauce on it just buffalo mozzarella. I didn't taste basil or any ingredients. I had one piece, and left the rest. I was not asked by the server if it was OK, when the server asked if I wanted it boxed up and I didn't want to take it. They also don't bother to clean the dishes off the table as you're done eating because we sat there and talked for quite some time after eating before we left and our dishes were never removed. That's a pet peeve of mine. A little extra attention to detail would've been nice. Didn't really feel they were invested in the service part of it. read more

Came here with my dad and he got so ripped it was so sick. He got the big mug option of like some dark ass beer and just went to town. Was like watching da Vinci paint the Mona Lisa. Personally, I don't love the brewery atmosphere, and this location is in a very busy area with minimal parking. However, four peaks brewing has the best wings I've ever had! They're ginormous and have a lot of meat on the bone, they are seasoned and sauced to perfection. I suggest takeout, they carry home and reheat just as deliciously when purchased. read more

This place surprised me in very good ways. Tucked into a neighborhood in Tempe, the place itself is huge and was hopping! Had to put effort into parking as so many people were there. Friendly service and guided us through all the beer choices. Ordered a flight (kilt lifter and Kuel bean were favs). The food was also outstanding. Four peaks brewing is one of the bright spots of the Phoenix Tempe area in Arizona. Having only ever had a handful of good meals in my many travels to this town. I was pleasantly surprised by how good this brewery's food was. We went with one of their many pizzas, the classic chicken strips that they're known for, and their cheese bread. The cheese bread wasn't really anything special and was described quite a bit better on the menu but it was still good. The chicken tenders were made with their own homemade beer batter which gave it a very delightful flavor. But the real highlight was the pizza specifically because the sauce that came with the cheese bread was a spicy marinara that had pepper balls in it. That was by far one of the best marinara concoctions I've ever had in my life. Dipping pizza into that made it one of the most satisfying meals that I've had while traveling. The beers there are very good but being gluten free I was pretty happy that they had ciders as well as liquor. I did try a little bit of the kilt lifter and the wow beer which are some of their more popular ones and both were good but nothing beats a good cider on a hot day in my opinion. Our server was super nice as well and made me feel a little old when they told me that they were born in 1998. They also have an Australian manager who was extremely well versed in customer service because I watched them go around and talk to many of the customers that were around the bar and then had a really great conversation with us as we talked about Australia and the differences in the US. He gave us some great history lessons on the flags that they had hanging as it seems he had been there for quite a bit of time. Overall the entire experience was great and this is a place. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in town. read more

This was a great place for dinner! My wife and I were in town to drop our son off at college. The food was great, the ambience was fun, and the service was excellent. We split a seasonal appetizer (peach/tomato/burrata) and a Fish and Chips. Everything was fresh and tasty, and the cooked food was hot from the kitchen. I haven't been here in a while, but one of the things I always remember was the great food and variety of beers. For a beer, I went with the Wow Wheat, which is very similar to Hefeweizen beer. It was really good and I've become picky with beers over the years. The disappointment however came with the food which caught me by surprise. I chose the 8th Street Beer Battered Chicken strips and fries. The batter for the chicken strips was flat and made for a really bland taste. No seasoning, no crisp... almost like they were warmed up and never fried. The chipotle ranch saved the meal but I"m was disappointed. Overpriced and poor service. Went in to watch the Vikings game with a friend. We had spinach dip, two shots of well tequila and two beers. $90 tab. Crazy bill for what we got. On top of that our waitress brought me the wrong drink, then it took another 15-20 minutes to pour a correct shot. A single pour cocktail. Then we ordered the second round and waited 30 minutes only to waive her down and she forgot to put the order in. We waived her down again to order more food and she told us she would be right back and never returned, just kept forgetting about us.
