I love this place. The selection is awesome, and you're bound to find some quality/quirky items…read morehere. I also love being able to sell my outdoor stuff here. It's not a polished place, but that's why I like it. The employees are laid back and helpful. They're not going to wine and dine you to buy something, but they're down to earth and seem like people you'd go skiing with or whatever choice recreational activity. If you're looking for "vintage" Patagucci to drive up to Hyalite, walk ten steps from the car and take #adventure shots for your instagram feed and head back to town, then you'll probably find some sweet duds here for that. AND, if you're actually going further than your car, you'll find great used gear that won't cost you an arm and a leg.

Okay, this is a longer one but as an avid thrifter and experienced (and fair) reseller myself, I…read morethink that this place necessitates a particular conversation. My thoughts- I've stopped into Second Wind a few times over the years in search of gear/clothing for personal use, but have consistently walked away disappointed if not empty-handed because their pricing is exorbitant and stupidly inflated, and I have no shame in using that sort of verbiage. An example from today that caught me so off guard I did some research, subsequently leading me to writing this review- a heavily used & visibly stained/faded Patagonia vest listed at $115, which is $16 less than the retail price on Patagonia's own website ($131). In my opinion and personal experience, this is not an isolated case- a lot of their merchandise is significantly worn, sometimes even dirty, and still priced like it's barely been used. While I did find and purchase a cute pair of pants that were reasonably priced and in good shape today, it unfortunately doesn't negate the general pattern of overpricing. Selling gear in highly used and rough condition for near-retail prices undermines the whole point of secondhand shopping and if we're being honest, many locals have access to outdoor industry discounts that include the benefit of full warranties. Trying to resell deeply used gear at near-retail prices just feels exploitative in that context. Even online secondhand platforms like Depop tend to be far more equitably priced and transparent about quality. I'm all for supporting secondhand and local businesses, but not when it starts to feel greedy and borderline shady. Pricing like this erodes trust and defeats the purpose of resale. There are more transparent, affordable, and community-minded options out there-- please shop around.

It takes a pretty exceptional experience for me to sit down and write a review - for the most part, shopping is shopping. Revolvr was an absolute break from that norm, and even purchasing off the rack, I felt like I was getting every piece tailored to my style, fit, and circumstances, which are a bit specific. I also appreciated not being hounded about masks, which is another departure from evolving downtown Boz culture. In short: It was brilliant being treated like a human again by a team who know their business and obviously enjoy it. I'd absolutely return and recommend them to anyone who asks. Huge thank you to the crew there. -A

My husband and I stopped in today looking forward to doing some shopping and purchasing a few items…read morebefore PBR. While browsing, I found a bolo tie I intended to buy and tried it on. A saleswoman with short brown hair and a stalkier build immediately came over and rather sternly told me I hadn't put it on correctly and that I may have ruined it. At first I was taken back, but I explained that I knew how to operate the clasp on the back and understood how to properly put on and remove a bolo, as I'm a local and familiar with them. Despite that, she continued to repeat that I may have ruined it instead of listening to what I was saying. At that point, I simply took the bolo off, called my husband back from shopping, and we left. It was disappointing because we had planned to spend a fair amount of money before PBR, but after that interaction, we no longer felt welcome. Customer service makes all the difference, and unfortunately this experience left us feeling embarrassed rather than appreciated as potential customers. We'll be choosing to support local businesses that make customers feel welcome and respected instead.
