I called Dee-O-Gee to see if they had any grooming appointments and they said they were booked up but offer a one hour self-service wash. I made an appointment for the self-service and headed to town with the poop pup. When I arrived they were super helpful and showed us to the washroom. It was like a spa. Very clean, fresh towels, towel basket, blow dryer and they even provide shampoo, scented or unscented. About 30 minutes later Muffin was fresh as a daisy. I went to pay and they give Muffin a treat for surviving the wash. The total was only $20. What an excellent deal. Would definitely use their services again and go just to shop.

I found Bark City after reading reviews online and contacted them. Bark City were super accommodating booking in Reece over email, sending me the necessary forms to have ready to go. At one point, I needed to change my dates of reservation a week before coming and they were flexible and could make the change no problem. Upon arriving on the day, Reece and I were warmly welcomed and the check-in process was quick and easy. Bark City went above and beyond allowing me to leave one of our vehicles in their parking lot for the 2 nights, so we wouldn't need to bring both into Yellowstone. I could not thank them enough for this! I received an email with a picture sharing how Reece was spending his day and a short update on how he was doing. I really appreciated that Bark City took the time to keep me informed while Reece was there. If I lived in Bozeman, I would be a regular customer of Bark City. Thanks again for making Reece's cross country journey a bit more enjoyable!

Many were full along with Pawliday Inn but TJ squeezed me in understanding my situation. Most of the time Eisenhower comes back from boarding kind of withdrawn, very clingy, like it wasn't an ideal experience. This time he was happy to see me but when he got home he was happy, normal, and curled up and slept. He was worn out from healthy play and fun. His eyes bright and happy. The facility isn't flashy but it's clean, the dogs pack up to play but each pup has an individual area for feeding so animal safety is important. That's about the only time dogs will fight is at feeding time. The entire facility is clean inside and out. I return here every year to ski and Eisenhower will see TJ and Pawliday Inn when I have leave town briefly.

To start the process off for a new dog, there's a pretty comprehensive questionnaire. It's as much a questionnaire of the owner as it is about the dog, which is incredibly smart-- many dog owners are as much a problem as their untrained dog! After reviewing my answers, I got a call from the staff, getting Sombra and me scheduled up for a trial day. They managed my expectations, letting me know what would happen if Sombra turned out to have trouble at KTD, or if they needed me to come get her early. I booked a date for the trial, and off we went. The drop off was seamless. I got checked in, they said hello to Sombra, and she was escorted off to the daycare. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and gave me a little card with a phone number to text if I wanted updates. They let me know what to expect, and when I could come pick Sombra up. Hours later, I come by to pick her up. The staff gave me the sitrep on how things went-- Sombra wasn't a great fit for the first play group, so they moved her out into a quieter one, where she fit in great! She spent the day playing with them, and things went smoothly. After the trial day, Sombra was approved to come by without appointment. I'm stoked to use KTD for daycare and possibly boarding in the future. They've won my trust, and Sombra's high standards for play groups. Thanks, KTD!

Professional would be an injustice to her. She was more like a friend who truly cared and truly wanted to help. She understood and she made the entire process simple, no stress, no hoops. Simple and very compassionate. I told her what I needed, or was looking for, she told me Jenny would get a hold of me within a certain amount of time and Jenny did. Jenny, too, was the same, compassionate and caring. Both ladies new this was not just my dog. They knew it was much more than that, to me. Jenny made it more that work when she arrived at my location. Her set up was quick, took no time and she proceeded. While doing so she wanted, truly wanted to know about my life with my friend. I could offer very little. She knew what a sad time this was and recognized how much it hurt. I managed only to tell her that Bruno had shared more life and more adventure, more happy time and sad time, more ups and downs across this country than any human ever would . We ate and drank together, slept at the same time and traveled. When we wore machine out we walked pads off his feet and soles off my boots to get parts. He never would leave me to go alone , took every pump and every high time right beside me. Never a complaint, never wanding loyalty. Jenny knew that was all I was able to say at the time. She wanted to hear whatever I wanted to tell. If this situation would ever force itself again, I would call Mikki and ask her if we could find a way to fly Jenny to my location. I'm sure she would do her best to make that simple, if at all possible. And I'm sure if Jenny could actually fly to me she would handle the situation with as much care and kindness as she did with Bruno. It was such a heartbreaking decision but Dr Jenny made it so peaceful for us snd our beloved pet. She showed up on time, such a beautiful & calming personality. She was so patient, so helpful, understanding & comforting. She took her time with us, our pet didnt make a sound, Dr Jenny was so gentle with her. She explained as she went & when it was over she let us say our goodbyes & snuggled her in a blanket & took her away. I highly recommend this company it makes this horrible thing bearable. The worst possible service I have ever received out of a pet sitter. He does not know how to handle…read moredogs and be a professional human being. We arrived home after a two and a half day trip to find our house a miss with piles of dog poop and two spots in the carpet where poop had been sloppily wiped into the carpet. There were 8 piles in the hallway multiple of which were dry having been there awhile showing that he never attempted to pick them up if he even showed up for the last visit. There is no record of visits and he never gave us updates to our pets well being like he had promised to. My dog requires medicine in the morning and at night and there were left over doses sitting on the counter that he never bothered to provide for our dog. After asking him about all of this politely he used very harsh and foul language and accused us of not providing all the required information (which we had on the forms the service requires) he also proceeded to lie and say that he never cleaned up any feces and that there wasn't any when he visited. And as I write this he is yelling obscenities over the phone that I can here 5 feet from the phone.
