This town is not very large, but has the classic western look like it's right out it a movie! While walking downtown alongside many small shops and restaurants, one stood out too me; the obsidian collection. From the outside the shop doesn't look like much, but too me the name was convincing enough; which turned out to be a great decision! They have an extensive selection of great inventory ranging from beautiful pottery, some amazing socks, and some fun looking board games! The staff is very nice and knows a lot about their store and the items for sale. I would most definitely come back here the next time I'm in Livingston.

Cactus Blossom is part retail shop and, I think, part work shop for locals who need a place to create and enjoy the camaraderie of others who share their artistic life. The store itself is clean, the clothing well-maintained, and social distancing in the checkout process is taken seriously. In the clothing section, there was a variety of sizes, and the men's clothing although not nearly as plentiful, still had some nice things. The non-clothing items were scattered around the store, and that compels you to look at everything because you might find a gem hidden somewhere. I had the sense Curated Closet was in a mid-season lull -- not quite stocked with spring or summer things, and not fully devoid of fall and winter items, but I expect this will take care of itself as life returns to whatever constitutes normal and people change out their closets. Still, for local crafts and some nice jewelry or fancy dishes, you can't go too far wrong here.
