My dog and I had such a great visit! It's so hard finding frozen treats for pups and they had the best variety!! It was pretty busy while we were there; check out was long. Staff was friendly. All your typical dog wants and needs. Treats, foods, bowls, leashes, collars, toys, etc. Prices seemed very typical and great selection! read more

Grooming girls are great, very knowledgeable and great at what they do. The retail side is another story, particularly the store manager. We have stopped shopping there and now buy our food at Bridger Feeds and it is actually less expensive. read more

What a wonderful cute little dog shop with a grooming salon and dog wash area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I needed doggie booties as my dogs paws are so sensitive to the cold. He was fitted and we have no problems at all with his feet now. read more

We have been taking our dog to be groomed every six weeks for the last three years. We moved here this year and tried this place based on reviews. We have been four times. Each time is very rushed. We get a bath and full body cut with teeth brushing and nail trim. We have always expected a decent grooming to be at least an hour and a half for these services at various groomers. Our dog has never had a single complaint from a groomer and they always say how much they love him. Dee-O-Gee rushes through in 45 minutes. As a result, our dog is not as soft or cleanly shaved as other groomers. His behavior is also very unusual after we pick him up, like he is unusually scared. In November, the groomer told us he needed "too much reassurance" while being groomed and she was not sure if he was welcome back in the future. Not sure a groomer, and not a manager, has the authority to ban a dog based on her personal opinion. She was unable to tell us what went wrong when we asked and then offered to groom him at his next appointment. Very confusing! At today's appointment we were scolded upon pickup and told he pooped at the end. He has never done this in three years and something was clearly wrong. I'm sorry, but I'm also not sure what the groomer wanted me to do after the fact. She just felt compelled to scold me about it for several minutes in front of other customers and staff. Very condescending treatment from groomers who should be prepared to work with dogs of all types. Will not be back. read more

I'm very happy to report that to our surprise Dee-o-Gee refunded my son. I'm pleased that it was recognized that a blanket policy does not fit all circumstances and that the powers that be took his situation seriously. It's important to me to support small local businesses, and I was sad to lose this one but this has made all the difference. Thank you. read more

Such a super cool pet store with literally everything you could ever want or need for your pet! My dog got her nails trimmed and the groomer did a phenomal job. The wiener is super sweet and very knowledgeable about EVERYTHING in the store. We will absolutely be back again! read more

Love this place!! I take my Pomeranian for grooming and she comes out perfectly every time! They even always put the cutest bandana on her! Both locations have super friendly and helpful staff! Love you guys! Thank you! read more

Jen does a beautiful job on our mini schnoodle.

We bring our Golden Retriever to be groomed by Lizzie and she does a fantastic job. Everyone that works there is so nice and friendly, it's a great atmosphere for people and pets alike! read more

I am new to Bozeman and have 2 Bernese Mountain Dogs. The store is neat and clean, has a good selection of foods that are a bit on the expensive side. The groomers were very polite, caring and friendly. They did a great job on my 2 girls. It was very apparent that they treated them well because both would have stayed in the store overnight if I hadn't had them on leashes. Thanks read more

I've taken my 8-lb long-haired mini dachshund to Dee-O-Gee many times for grooming over the past 6 years. They've always done a great job. He comes home so soft and shiny. However, the last 2 times have gone wrong. Last time they cut his ear, and this time, they shaved a 2" square out of his back. Right smack dab in the middle, so it can't be hidden. She apologized, but I still paid full price. I'll give them one more try, but this is pretty disappointing. read more

Dee-O-Gee - Sugar hearing to Doggy Day Camp. - Pet Stores Near Me - Bozeman, Montana

We have been to this groomer several times and have never had a problem. However this time and $185 later my dogs looked like they where cut by a child. The haircuts where uneven, their nails where not cut and furthermore they where not cut to their breed. To say I am disappointed is mild If you go here be specific and a matter of fact to your needs. If your paying that for a dog grooming you should get what you pay for not a half ass job read more

I make it a point to find local, independent pet stores where ever I go. In need of day care for my pup, I called Dee-O-Gee...no return call. When I visited the store in person the young lady working the counter seemed too busy to answer my questions even though I was the only one there.. She explained to me that I had to "fill out the required on-line form". When I said "I'm right here...can I fill it out now". She said "we really prefer you do it on-line". She also explained that my dog would need to "schedule an appointment with the day-care attendant" before they could take my dog in "assuming he has his up-to-date vaccinations". I looked over and spotted the day care attendant mopping the floor of a 10' X 20' room (approximate). I thought to myself...maybe the hard mopping attendant could "assess my dog right now". The clerk responded "thats impossible". Dog-O-Gee seems to have a nice selection of premium products albeit over-priced compared to other stores. But I like good, friendly service, in fact I demand it. Thats why I'll never visit Dog-O-Gee again. read more

I love this place! They did a great job grooming my total spazz of a dog. I've been to both locations and the people working are always really nice. The shop is clean and pleasant read more

A great local pet store .... they are friendly, helpful and my dogs love stopping in for a treat. Not very punctual opening at 9, the staff at the dogie daycare and groomers kept telling me to get a cup of coffee and come back ...... after three times and 9.15 I gave up and went to another store. read more

This was a great little pet shop, we took our dog there for a quick bath and toenail cut. The staff was fantastic and made our fur baby feel comfortable (we don't do this often). They did a great job with bathing but were unable to cut our dogs nails due to him being to big and not letting them. We have had trouble with this since we got him. The shop was fantastic, plenty of options for food and treats for you animals and they offer a doggy daycare service as well. Overall this is a good place for dog grooming our only downfall was them not being able to cut the toenails. read more

I just wanted to update since I no longer live in Bozeman, but I was visiting the other week and had to stop in to see my favorite Montana pet place. Not only did they have all my same favorite products, they're keeping up with times and stocking new great stuff. I was so excited to see that they've expanded their frozen raw section too! Also, huge shout out to Morgan! She still remembered me and my pups even though I hadn't been back for 9 months. It's so awesome being able to go on vacation and know that I can get anything I need for the dogs. Holly runs a great business with awesome, knowledgeable employees. Thanks for being so great Dee-O-Gee! read more

Love this place! Since moving to Bozeman, I've been obsessed with this cute little shop. Great pet treats, clothes, toys, etc. It's a bit spendy, but worth it. It sits in a great location but parking can be a bit of a bear. I haven't tried their grooming services yet, but it is very clean in there and I'm looking forward to taking my little guys there! read more

This is an adorable natural dog food and supply store (they also do grooming) in downtown Bozeman. I've been feeling guilty about my trips to Target and other big box stores since I've been in Montana, and I just couldn't bring myself to patronize PetSmart. I decided to check out Dee-O-Gee, and I was glad I did. They carry a lot of neat products, included beds made from recycled materials, and environmentally-friendly chew toys. If I was rich, I would clear out their stock of stylish collars and leashes, and treat my pups to gourmet dog cookies. Their prices seemed very reasonable for what they are selling - which is mainly high-end merchandise and food for dogs. I wish I could've splurged a little more, but I managed to restrain myself and just walk out with a bag of kibble. read more

Still one of my favorite places. We only recommend places that we have full confidence in... we recommend Dee-O-Gee to everyone we meet. The selection of products is incredible and the do it yourself dog wash works great when I forget to schedule something with the groomers. Money ill spent on dog grooming. Not sure what type of training they have gone thru. It'll take awhile to grow back enough that i can go back to my other groomer to fix it. I could post photos but will just leave it at that. Will not return. 1 star as the store was nice enough read more

My pet loved the daycare from D.O.G. Also convenient is on-site grooming. My pooch can't wait for his next visit!

Looking for a new place to have my ACD bathed/brushed. Shop is cute and pleasant people. My Daisy was super happy when I got her but I was disappointed in how wet her under coat was and still had hair falling out like she just had a quick brush instead. Especially since you get charged more for ACD due to fur. Probably take her in and bath myself next time. read more

We just moved to Bozeman 2 weeks ago from VA and our 1 yr old German Wirehaired Pointer was in desperate need of a spa day. When I picked him up i couldn't believe how gorgeous he looked! I highly recommend them for grooming. Luther will definitely be back for another "hair-do"!!! read more

"I love day camp! I meet so many fun friends. I feel safe and know I am cared for. Also, this is the only place I go for my food. Best food ever! Toys? Don't even get me started. My favorite toys come from Dee-O-Gee. The orange "s" thingy, a product of West Paw (a local business) gives me hours of pure enjoyment. The WO Bone is the only toy I know by name. I feel good every time a play with it, because I know I helped someone when I received it. The WO Bone is what I always tell my mom to buy for friends to play with, it is awesome! Trust me, Dee-O-Gee is the best store I know of in Bozeman! (Mom let me use her yelp account, but she loves Dee-O-Gee just as much as me.)" - Stella, 2 yr old Aussie read more

I love Dee-O-Gee! They always have the best products and customer service. I love going in to get treats and food for my dog Jeter. And every time we walk in they know who we are. It's by far one of the best stores in Bozeman! Thanks for all your great work Dee-O-Gee! read more

Took my boxer here and everyone was super friendly. They were all very nice and helpful...they gave her treats on arrival and were accommodating to her specific food allergies. Was nice taking her to a local groomer instead of the giant pets mart. She got more personal attention and looked and smelled good after I picked her up. The price and service was excellent. I won't ever take her to pets mart again to wait three hours and pay more. I highly recommend them. They also sent a thank you card and it was very nice! We will be back read more

The best dog store in town...and actually the best that I've been to anywhere thus far. Great selection of foods, toys, and accessories. I adore Dee-O-Gee. Their groomer is great and the atmosphere of the grooming facility is top notch. We don't take our dog anywhere else. And the store itself is wonderful. They carry only the top brands of food and the highest-quality treats, accessories, and various dog items. They're also very good about carrying local lines, which I appreciate. The prices are high, but this is a dog boutique and for the quality you get, it's worth it for those of us whose dogs are our family members. Holly and Josh, the owners, are friendly, helpful and make your shopping experience that much more pleasant. read more

The staff here is so nice and helpful. It just happens that when we go in we end up buying too much stuff (total accident every time) and they always ofer to help us to the car. Amazing people. Even saw J.T. There one time... can't be bad if they are shopping here!!! read more

They sell cheap product that they do not stand behind. If you are a boutique store you should sell quality product and you should also stand behind it. I bought Dee-O-Gee branded a dog collar that didn't last 6 months before the stitching came out and it fell apart. I went back to ask about warranty and they told me sorry and there is nothing they can do. read more
