To start the process off for a new dog, there's a pretty comprehensive questionnaire. It's as much a questionnaire of the owner as it is about the dog, which is incredibly smart-- many dog owners are as much a problem as their untrained dog! After reviewing my answers, I got a call from the staff, getting Sombra and me scheduled up for a trial day. They managed my expectations, letting me know what would happen if Sombra turned out to have trouble at KTD, or if they needed me to come get her early. I booked a date for the trial, and off we went. The drop off was seamless. I got checked in, they said hello to Sombra, and she was escorted off to the daycare. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and gave me a little card with a phone number to text if I wanted updates. They let me know what to expect, and when I could come pick Sombra up. Hours later, I come by to pick her up. The staff gave me the sitrep on how things went-- Sombra wasn't a great fit for the first play group, so they moved her out into a quieter one, where she fit in great! She spent the day playing with them, and things went smoothly. After the trial day, Sombra was approved to come by without appointment. The worst possible service I have ever received out of a pet sitter. He does not know how to handle…read moredogs and be a professional human being. We arrived home after a two and a half day trip to find our house a miss with piles of dog poop and two spots in the carpet where poop had been sloppily wiped into the carpet. There were 8 piles in the hallway multiple of which were dry having been there awhile showing that he never attempted to pick them up if he even showed up for the last visit. There is no record of visits and he never gave us updates to our pets well being like he had promised to. My dog requires medicine in the morning and at night and there were left over doses sitting on the counter that he never bothered to provide for our dog. After asking him about all of this politely he used very harsh and foul language and accused us of not providing all the required information (which we had on the forms the service requires) he also proceeded to lie and say that he never cleaned up any feces and that there wasn't any when he visited. And as I write this he is yelling obscenities over the phone that I can here 5 feet from the phone.

I was so happy to find a groomer that also does cats here in Bozeman and was extremely impressed by the skill and speed of the groomer, Karissa. She did exactly what we asked for and both cats were finished in less than 2 hours. Price was very reasonable as well. Our cats love their cuts and did not appear stressed at all! The facility was clean and staff was so friendly.

Many were full along with Pawliday Inn but TJ squeezed me in understanding my situation. Most of the time Eisenhower comes back from boarding kind of withdrawn, very clingy, like it wasn't an ideal experience. This time he was happy to see me but when he got home he was happy, normal, and curled up and slept. He was worn out from healthy play and fun. His eyes bright and happy. The facility isn't flashy but it's clean, the dogs pack up to play but each pup has an individual area for feeding so animal safety is important. That's about the only time dogs will fight is at feeding time. The entire facility is clean inside and out. I return here every year to ski and Eisenhower will see TJ and Pawliday Inn when I have leave town briefly.

So incredibly happy and grateful that my dog Lily has been able to board with CC and her team for the last 4 days. I've been able to use Doggie Daycare & Motel 2 years ago between Christmas and New Years for Lily as well and the process is very straight forward. Lily was so calm, happy and tired when I picked her up which was perfect because she was going to fly on a plane a few hours after. CC responds quickly within a few minutes of your messages. I'm super impressed with her communication. She's professional, super friendly and approachable in my emails to her. I've never met her in person but I can tell she really cares about every dog or cat that stays at her facility. I checked in once to see how Lily was doing and she responded so fast. I'm grateful for CC and her business. She treats your pets like family. She has you fill out a form which includes details of your pet such as owner contact info, vet info, food, temperament, if you need additional services such as private walks, off leash hikes, private play, special treats for your dog, dates you'll need your pet taken cared of and pick up/drop off time. She was able to accommodate my drop off and pick up times even though I was running late. So kind. You'll need to send over vaccine records. I suggest you reach out to her months or weeks in advance for availability and to make sure you have enough time to get all the vaccines up to date. We didn't need to do an in person assessment prior to Lily's boarding but I couldn't anyway since I'm flying in from out of town. I did mention that my dog has gone through lots of dog training, daycare and boarding before with no issues. When you go inside of the room, you'll find 3 gates which includes an elevated dog bed inside. This is the waiting room. You'll leave everything your dog needs such as food and medication. CC recommended me to bring a soft bed next time. I flew in from out of state so it's a little hard but nonetheless she provided a soft bed for my Lily. I paid $30 per day for boarding. Super reasonable price. In California, boarding is at least $90-110 per night. My dog is spayed so $30 is the rate for Lily. For grooming, my dog is 12 lbs and I paid $90 not including tip. This is the best my dog has looked and she smelled so good. I even asked what shampoo/conditioner they used it was that good! They accept checks or cash only so I suggest stopping by the atm or bringing a check book. You'll see a printed invoice on the kennel gate when you pick up your dog. Hope this helps! I have used Rover in the past but this is so much better and reliable in my opinion.

When we picked her up she was very sick, coughing with Kennel cough. We took her to the vet and was told she was very sick with pneumonia. We have to give her antibiotics for 2 weeks, and tramadol to stop her from coughing and retching. She also had to get IV fluid. When we notified them how. sick she was, their response was "Oh bummer". So if you love your dog, you might not consider this place.

AMAZING!!! We were…read moreout in Livingston for a Yellowstone trip and had brought along our 13 lb terrier. We were worried about boarding him someplace unfamiliar as he tends to get snarly with strangers. HOWEVER, our experience was unbelievable and Erica was the best! The facility is super clean, tons of indoor and outdoor space. Erica also provided us a tour and let us stay there for a bit while Gerby got acclimated. She definitely made us feel at ease and provided lots of updates and photos. We would highly recommend Yellowstone Pet Boarding if you're ever in need! we're really glad that we were able to take the little guy with us and Erica made it all possible!
