They were very attentive to my dog's needs and care. Their prices are also very reasonable.

30 minute routine appointment cost $1,010. Wellhaven is owned by Maris capital, an investment bank…read moreheadquartered in San Francisco, CA. The staff and vets here are great. I have nothing bad to say about them. The business, however, is unscrupulous and I will provide concrete examples and receipts. Wellhaven prioritizes line-item price gouging over care. My last appointment lasted a half-an-hour. It covered my dogs annual vaccines, a checkup, a heartworm test, flea and tick medication and a shot for his allergies. In 30 minutes, I racked up a bill of $1,010 (see itemized invoice attached). I spoke with a few dog owner friends. Their annual dog exams with vaccines (PLUS a rattlesnake vaccine), cost around $200. Further, they gave my dog a rabies and DAPPi vaccine that he didn't need because he got them last year (same clinic) - these are 3 year vaccinations. Their business model is unethical and gouges pet owners. On the bright side, their big city IT and marketing are spectacular. My advise would be to find a locally owned vet that prioritizes animal care over line-item price gouging and upselling you treatments you don't need.

Went in on a Sunday early afternoon because our cat was attacked. Great that they were open. Nice…read morethat the doctor (Ryan Black) stapled shut a two inch wound. Not good that he missed an open one inch wound a few inches to the side of the larger wound. He said he checked her thoroughly. The ensuing infection required reopening the larger wound as well to clean that out again and then antibiotics and then stitching both wounds shut. Wish they had done better, my trust in vet "hospitals" is certainly diminished to a low level, at least this one.

Great first new puppy visit at Baxter Creek!!! Convenient central location in Bozeman, nice…read morefacility, friendly staff and amazing vet! We loved Dr. Jessica, who was so good with our pup, answered all our new pup questions, and was very knowledgeable and professional.

Kiki, our 7 year old poodle mix needed a teeth cleaning due to her high amount of tartar…read more Dr Higgins, was the doctor how examined Kiki and was concerned about the tartar and gingivitis that was occurring. Kiki also has a loose front incisor tooth, that Dr Higgins recommended extracting and to check for any other issues to other teeth. We immediately scheduled the cleaning with the staff at the front desk, who were very friendly and accommodating. They were able to get Kiki in 2 days later to have the procedure, from pre-anesthetic blood panel, to the actual sedation under anesthesia, to the cleaning of all teeth, the extraction of the incisor and one molar. Dr Arakaki performed the surgery and did a fabulous job of keeping us updated on how the procedure went. Madison, the technician was also amazing from when I brought Kiki the morning of the surgery, reviewing everything in detail and as well, when we picked up Kiki. We would like to compliment entire team at Baxter Creek, from the front desk personnel, Madison, Dr Higgins and of course Dr Arakaki. The clinic is very clean and state of the art with their equipment and would highly recommend them to any pet owner Thanks Baxter!
