The vet that I got didn't seem to listen to me, I felt that I I should have been a fairly simple fix. She wanted to run every test under the sun. I didn't take him back, I found another vet who didn't seem to just take my money. I don't recommend them unless you are rich and enjoy throwing your money away.

They saved my beautiful Catahoula-American Staffy mix, Gabby, a couple of times now. Dr. Owen is a bada** surgeon! She was able to remove both adrenal glands and the cancerous tumors attached to them, with zero damage to kidneys and without touching the main artery that is close by. She also removed a sarcoma tumor in her foot that was wrapped around a tendon, with no loss of foot/leg. And Dr. Culver has been wonderful with Gabby after the adrenalectomy, managing her Addison's disease. And fir what they do, it is very affordable, in my opinion. Thank you all for being so excellent at what you do!

She is certainly fearful, but under the circumstance I felt like the aggression was a reaction to the pain and stress. She had been spayed and a few of her stitches came apart and she got an infection, obviously she was fearful and in pain. In combination, she is a very fearful dog anyways. At All west, they were understanding of our bad experience and they take things at the dogs pace. I appreciate that they are very upfront and clear about pricing and services. The technicians are patient and helpful, the vet has been amazing...and probably more patient with me! I've been really nervous about getting care for my dog fearing that the veterinarian would be always a terrible experience. They make it positive and we don't avoid it any more! I have a wellness plan for my cat that renews every mid-December, so I called the beginning of…read moreDecember to get my cat in and use up any remaining plan before it renews, specifically anesthesiology, because you only get one with your plan and it's typically used for dental cleaning. I save my dental cleaning until the end of the year just in case the anesthesiology is needed throughout the year for possible emergencies (because without using the one in the plan could cost you over $500 easily). Anyway, when I called they didn't have any appointments available until after it renews. Nick said he'd work his hardest to get me one, and he did. Thank you Nick! Beyond that, the staff is always so nice. Side note, time to vent... I had a friend complain to me that I'm not using a "local" vet, that I'm using a chain. I call BS on that because regardless if Banfield is part of a chain, they're still all local Veterinarians, and employees, locally working there making a living. Speaking of which, when people bitch about being local, imagine Target or Walmart not existing. Now think about how many jobs they provide. In turn, these gigantic chain stores are boosting our economy, locally, and providing tons of jobs. Sorry "local" stores that employ 10 people... Target and Walmart that employ hundreds is putting you out of business. I'm local, and I buy locally, but I also go to chain stores and people need to quite complaining about them because they are one of the biggest contributors to our thriving communities.
