Andie takes her time with our Yorkie Pippa and she looks gorgeous when she's done. She cuts her with scissors and doesn't use trimmers on her, creating a beautiful symmetrical teddy bear cut on her face. She is blow dried by hand and not put in a drying cage, which helps Pippa to feel more uncomfortable. Andie has helped us to help Pippa have better grooming practices and behavior to aid her when she visits. She goes in almost weekly to have her ponytail and bow fixed because she doesn't let mom do it yet, but Andie's helping her with that too. Andie always recognizes Pippa and remembers her name and Pippa gives her tons of love and kisses even though she hates the groomer. Pippa has never looked better, even after visiting many extremely expensive "fancy" "master" groomers in Dallas. I can not recommend Andie's Paws and Claws enough, she's AMAZING! read more

I am sick at heart today as my smallbreed dog is still suffering the effects of whatever was done to him at his grooming yesterday at Andie's Paws and Claws. As soon as my husband got nearer to home he noticed Guapo's eyes swelling and indeed swelled shut. We immediately were very concerned and called an animal hospital to reserves time to have him seen..at 3:00. He whimpered in pain and was becoming more ill by the minute! My husband held Guapo and I called Andie. She immediately became defensive and alluded that I must have brought a 'sick' dog to her that could have infected her entire group of dog clients! Preposterous!! What reasonable person who adores their pet would take their dog to a groomer if he wasn't 100% healthy?!?! We saw a wonderfulVet who did some tests and determined that Guapo was suffering near complete contamination in both eyes some chemical that most likely was sprayed on him affecting his eyes. After a couple hours we arrived home with two medications to be applied in his eyes...both meds go into his eyes (alternating ) 4times a day! That means we are applying meds 8 times a day! Our poor baby doesn't understand that we have to do this to him! He's yet to urinate today and this fur baby is like clockwork in his routine!! I called Andie yesterday evening to let her know what was going on. I had to talk 'through her' to let her know that this indeed happened while he was in her care. Had she been sympathetic at all, I would probably NOT have written this honest review. Beware of Andies Paw and claw!!! We are very pleased with the service. We took our long hair dachshund there today. He's never been to a groomer before so I was a lil nervous. He did so good and I'm super happy with how he looks , he got the whole works done! He's much cooler now with his shorter hair. Our other dogs had to check him out when he got home lol. Just a warning - according to Andie, if you ask any groomer SHORT means SHAVED. We asked her to cut my dog SHORT all over. He was shaved down to the skin all over. Short doesn't mean shaved as far as I know. On top of it, it was $87!!!!!!! More expensive than the most expensive place in Bozeman. I originally had an appointment at Dee-O-Gee, but they were booked 6 weeks out. I foolishly decided to try a new place. Lesson learned. read more

Our dog's first visit to a groomer was at Andie's Paws and Claws and she looks fantastic! She is a medium size dog, mini aussie/corgi with a ton of energy and is fearful of loud machines in the home so we were worried. It turned out to be a play date for her and the service was first rate. We were greeted by Ann, she asked all the right questions, as Andie was right there grooming, we felt very welcome at once and did not hesitate to leave our girl. After our consultation we chose a "lion" cut and could not be happier. Plus, they cleaned and trimmed every inch of her body. We will recommend Andie to everyone we see. If you need to shop for pet supplies they have those at great prices too. read more

The owner has the worst attitude. If you try and tell them they made a mistake, it is instant defensiveness. The most unprofessional buisness owner I have ever dealt with. You walk in and can get charged for a plethora of diffrent fees. Dogs are dogs. I am generally an easy customer, even a easy to appease unhappy customer. But the pig headedness was ridiculous.
