Lovely selection of prints, cards, apparel, jewelry, pottery, art, and more, including a lot from western artists.

Jonah & Sage - Cute, unique clothes at a reasonable price!

I had a wonderful experience at this cute boutique. I'm in town visiting from San Diego and…read moreappreciated the selection of cool clothing and accessories that was true to the area and the vibe of the West, at a reasonable price. I found a unique reversible sweater, a space-dyed stretchy tank that has ruching on the sides to make it cropped or longer, a beautiful pair of pants from Liverpool brand, perfect for work (in fact, they carry some brands also sold at Nordstrom and other trusted retailers), and a super-soft long cardigan that also came in a few other styles/lengths. The salesperson said they had just gotten it in stock today and had already sold four of the pieces. (I happened to have accidentally pulled off one of my bracelets while in the fitting room and came back to ask if anyone had turned it in...and yes! Someone found it and they had it waiting for me at the front. Yay!) The service was beyond friendly and helpful. I heard the woman working there say hello to every single person that came in with a genuine warmth in her tone. She also gave us a few tips about the weekly Thursday community event, Music on Main, which my local friend had mentioned, and told us about how all the stores pull out their sale clothes and offer extra deals during this street fair-type event. All in all I'm so glad I walked into this store and I WILL be back before we head back to SD!

I said hello to the salesperson or owner, not quite sure. No response, just a stare. She welcomed other customers. I continued to look around. Then left. It was so uncomfortable, I wouldn't go back.

I'm an avid consignment and thrift store shopper, and one of my favorite things to do when I travel…read morewith my family is carve out a little "me time" to hunt down the best local consignment shops. Being from the NYC area, I was blown away by what I found at Recouture Consignment in Bozeman, Montana. Their selection perfectly reflected the local vibe and season--think Pendleton sweaters, Woolrich jackets, high-end ski gear, and other amazing winter finds. On top of that, they had plenty of designer and brand-name pieces at incredible prices. I scored a Marc Jacobs crossbody bag, some great plaid button-downs, a beautiful collection of scarves and shawls, and even some super cool jewelry. We visit the YC and Big Sky every year, and I will absolutely be making Recouture a must-stop again next trip. I can't wait to see what treasures they have waiting next time. You won't be disappointed.

**November 2025: Saturday Afternoon Visit**…read more My mom and I were driving down Main Street and saw a big upscale resale sign. We thought it would be fun to check out so I made a quick turn to head to the parking lot. The store shares the building with a wine shop, but I was really surprised by the selection. Near the front entrance are an assortment of bags and when you walk a little further towards the windows they have a section of bargain pieces! There a $15, $20, and $25 short dress, jackets/outerwear section, and I believe a $10 tops section. The center section of the store had some really great designer pieces, but many were $100+, which is well above my price range for second hand. Nevertheless, if you go to the opposite side of the shop there's a whole section of items that are half off! There's a fun shoe section with some cowboy boots - though they just weren't my size *cries* They have a couple of mirrors around the shop as well as a dressing room, so it's a fun place to play dress up. I did find two jackets as well as a gold belt that I liked on this trip, so it was still a success! Hours Mon-Sat: 10am-6pm Sun: 12pm-5pm Parking: Plentiful Summary: This shop has an upscale boutique vibe to it. Items do tend to be on the pricier side, but I think if you really dig you can find some great gems!

I was aimlessly wandering around Bozeman trying to find some good shopping, as I needed something…read moreto remember my trip by. I stopped in about 8 different stores, but nothing was really speaking to my soul. It felt more like shopping in LA than what I thought Montana would be like. "Boz Angeles," as one of my uber drivers called it. I was dejected from not finding anything, and set off to meet the rest of the bachelor party at a steakhouse. It was then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw 2 rustic yellow chairs with a sign that read "Rare Bird Vintage." I entered into the small, highly curated space that is an ideal vintage shop. A healthy mix of clothing, old trinkets, bags, books, postcards, shoes, etc. The tags on everything have handwritten prices and notes on each individual item of when it's made. This attention to detail can only come from passion. I immediately pulled off a denim jacket off the rack and tried it on. The owner, Olivia, ran over and said "That looks so good on you, but I have another deadstock denim jacket from the early 90s that I think would look AMAZING on you." I tried it on and loved it, but it was slightly oversized. I'm really shy and insecure so I asked Olivia's opinion. "It honestly fits you perfect. It reminds me of something that I would see in Shibuya, this is a classic Japanese look." 90% of my personality is my trip to Japan and how much I love Japanese culture, so I had no choice. She and her mom, who also owns the shop, gave me a full rundown on how to wash this deadstock denim and why it is such a unique piece. You could just feel the passion oozing out of them. While checking out for both denim jackets, I found a sweatshirt for my girlfriend, a vintage coffee table book about Florence, and a cool Hokkaido pin. I just shook my head and said "I gotta get out of here..." I was BUZZIN in here. It's electric. Thank you Rare Bird, I will pass these jackets to my kids once the curtain closes on me.
