It's held back a bit by some snippy associates who are more interested in closing the store 30 minutes early than they are in helping people. (This is not an isolated incident, and I'm not taking about 5 mins before close...) I still shop here and still like this brand. Give this one a try and add your review.

They were having a cooking class for children going on at the time of my arrival but was able to get some help with my search. The lady was very friendly and helpful and showed me a stainless steel jar with a press on it that could keep my unused coffee beans airtight so they would retain its freshness. She explained that if I open a card I'd get 20% off this purchase and then after making the first payment will get a $20.00 gift card which I could use to get another. She highly recommended it from brown sugar as well. How many times I have tried and tried everything to keep it from hardening. So I purchased one and will get another one when I get my reward. Williams-Sonoma carries top of the line kitchen small appliances, utensils, and everything you need for your kitches as well as cake mixes from Georgetown cupcake. Yes, Georgetown cupcake is another chain we don't have here but I have been to the one it Atlanta and it is very good! They have all types of cookbooks some of which you could get cheaper elsewhere and some American Girl literature. While I was looking at the coffee presses and grinders I saw they sell in round tins "Iffy" coffee beans which you can only get at the Carnegie coffee company! You can even purchase different roasts as well as decaf. I didn't bother to check the price on these but am glad to know there is someplace I can this coffee to brew at home. I saw various candies available for sale as well. Williams-Sonoma has only two other locations in the PIttsburgh area the others being at Ross Park mall and Shadyside. By opening their card I get into their rewards program which I'll find out more about later. The saleslady told me about the classes and normally when a new cook book is launched they will focus a class around that. Meantime I was happy with my purchase and discount so will see how well this container will keep my coffee beans fresh. She did advise me not to ground them all at one time. Rather grind what I need for my coffee. Good tip!

Love. Love. Love. Love…read more I was in town visiting family and I wanted to manifest some art supplies for my nieces. I placed a quick call to Rollier's and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. They let me know that they had some watercolor crayons and that they would hold them for me at the front desk. I popped over and ended up buying a plethora of fun craft items. The staff were personable throughout my interactions with them. If you need hardware, or homeware, or craft supplies, or cooking supplies, or basic food items, and so much more - they have it here. The store is well organized and you can tell that the staff take genuine delight in assisting their customers. I was even more impressed with this store when I learned that it has been in this location for over 70 years and was even around before then - at a different location - https://www.doitbest.com/rolliers-hardware/about-us/ . So what's up! They even host some fantastic community events - https://www.doitbest.com/rolliers-hardware/special-events . If you are in the area and need some basic household items, decorations, or just want to do some magical browsing - be sure to support a legacy family-owned local business and check out Rollier's. My nieces were entertained for hours - thanks to Rollier's lovely diverse selection of goods. Trust.

Regarding customer service, I have experienced very friendly older workers but I take issue with the younger ones. They don't even look at you, and aren't friendly. Sales rep Daniel seemed very receptive & knowledgeable. After good insp of the one avail on display we brought it & had it picked up. It is my opinion when we went to pick up the frig was shrunk wrapped & couldn't see it. Once brought home the frig seemed twisted & doors would not line up. I called Daniels within the hour & all I got was a run around with no return calls! I was appalled at their disregard & ghosting of my calls! I finally got a call from the service man he tried to line the handles up & stated it was not anything we did! Don't use them, I found frig cheaper at the big box stores, I wanted to supply this store since my Dad went there for years but they don't call back or try to make things right!!! This took them over a month with numerous calls to give any respect! Go somewhere else. They were trying to play me out to use the mfg warranty & did not want to take responsibility, I'm very disappointed.

We worked with Mark to place that order and he was very helpful and efficient in taking care of us. While we were talking to him, Marty, the owner, started talking to us as well. He was genuinely concerned for us and trying to find an immediate solution so we wouldn't lose all of our frozen food over the weekend. He contacted the Allison Park store and found that they had a smaller size freezer in stock that he offered to us as a loaner for the weekend if we could pick up it up from that store. Never have I worked with an appliance store that cared so much and was willing go to that extreme to help. We saved our frozen goods by getting the loaner and then we returned it when we got our new freezer on Monday. The new freezer is so nice and big and bright. I can only hope it last as long as its predecessor that we purchased at Daniel's 23 years prior.

We reached out to Kitchen's by Dial. Tony came to our house and we made excuses for his grumpiness…read more He was unwilling to listen to what we were looking for in a kitchen. Anytime I said what I wanted, he told me no and that I was wrong. I said I'd like more space between the microwave and the stovetop, he told me nobody had a pot that big. I explained that we'd be getting a bigger fridge so would need to account for that, he told me no. At one point he went into my upper cabinet that I said I struggled to get things out of and started ripping items out of it (to show me it wasn't a problem) and dropping them in the process. He grabbed my food processor by the handle, so it separated from the base and fell to the ground in pieces. He got animated and ended up dropping his tape measure, dinging our floors. He talked poorly of competitors, which we excused as pride in his work. He also was unwilling to do a lot of the work and was unwilling to accommodate us bringing in other contractors. He doesn't do electrical, he doesn't do plumbing. He doesn't do drywall, he doesn't do floors. We were going to have to lower a wall, we were going to have to remove the shelves from our pantry ourselves. We thought maybe it was just his age. He came back for his measurement and was almost an hour late. I personally didn't want to deal with him so my fiance handled the visit. He continued to argue with every request we had. We thought maybe it was just a bad day. We were scheduled to go to the showroom, I called the day prior to find out if we'd get drawings or even a ballpark pricing prior to our visit. He actually started yelling at me that he refuses to do that. I apologized and said I didn't mean to offend him and wasn't asking him to, just wasn't sure what to expect ahead of time. He explained that he wasn't offended, I just didn't know what I was talking about. I asked for more information about the specific cabinets. I wanted to know if they are 1/2 or 3/4 inch thick boxes. He screamed at me and demanded to know who told me that. I explained that I had other estimates and just wanted to make sure I was fairly comparing them. He went on a tangent about how his company is better than everyone else's kind of thing. I am genuinely speechless the way I was spoken to. The kitchens he builds seem to be a really great product, but it is clear that he will only build the kitchen as he wants it, not as the homeowner does. His pricing was super reasonable too, but it definitely comes at a cost. It does seem like the installers are great, professional and thorough, but Tony is part of every step in the process and I honestly wouldn't have been comfortable having him in my home. I'm shocked that he is still in business with his temper and the way he speaks to customers. If you can tolerate his scolding and don't have any questions or requests, the end kitchen might be worth it. It wasn't to me. I would absolutely encourage anybody who is interested in doing business with him to not meet with him alone.

We were looking to remodel our kitchen and reached out to Kitchens by Dial based on a…read morerecommendation. They had their kitchen done a few years ago and mentioned that the work was well done and the pricing was competitive. Unfortunately, our experience was far from positive. Tony, the owner, came out to discuss our project, but much of the conversation was spent on unrelated topics, including criticism of competitors and why his cabinets were superior. He had a strong, one-way approach to design, mostly telling us what we should want rather than listening to what we actually wanted. He returned a few days later to take measurements, but again, much of the time was spent on personal stories and unrelated discussions - including how he used to be a martial arts trainer for the military. Instead of emphasizing discipline or technique, he made a point to talk about how his training was focused on teaching people how to kill. The way he spoke about it felt strange and almost as if he was trying to assert dominance over me. He also pushed back on all of our preferences, such as wanting a larger sink and different cabinet heights (even though ours are lower than standard). I initially brushed it off as him being an older, opinionated business owner. When I arrived at his showroom a week later, Tony was the only one there. I mentioned that my fiancée wouldn't be attending, and he immediately responded with something along the lines of "Good, the guys make the decisions." He wasn't joking - he said it with complete seriousness as if women shouldn't have any input at all. That set the tone for the meeting. He was extremely intense about his work, repeatedly loudly slamming his hands on the cabinets - not just to make a point, but in a way that felt like he was trying to scare or intimidate me into believing his cabinets were the best. Throughout the discussion, it was difficult to get a word in, and every question I asked seemed to frustrate him. Almost two hours into our discussion, we got to the topic of the sink size. I asked what size sink would fit under the cabinetry he was designing. Rather than providing insight based on his experience, he abruptly dismissed the question and refused to give a direct answer, instead telling me it was up to the granite installers. When I tried to clarify because this was important, his demeanor escalated, he became visibly agitated, and at one point, he called me f***ing stupid before aggressively ending the meeting. As I gathered my things, he angrily snatched up his drawings from in front of me and started slamming granite samples together while continuing to berate me. I remained calm and told him that while I respected that he was older than me, that didn't give him the right to speak to me that way. The moment I said that, his anger escalated further--his face turned red with rage, and he suddenly came at me as if he was about to attack. I quickly backed away and headed for the door because I had no interest in dealing with someone acting so unhinged. I immediately walked outside to remove myself from the situation, but he wasn't done. He followed me out, still shouting/swearing, and as I was heading to my truck, he aggressively moved toward me, getting within inches of my face while continuing to spew aggressive and vulgar remarks. At that point, it was clear he had completely lost control, and I wasn't going to waste any more energy engaging with his outburst. He finally turned back inside when I was almost at my truck, still yelling as he went. Needless to say, we will not be using this company. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others before allowing this man into their home. His aggressive and erratic behavior was alarming, and I would personally be concerned about having someone like that in my house, especially around my family. Quality of work aside, the experience of dealing with him simply isn't worth it. If you're looking for someone who listens, values customer input, and communicates professionally, you may want to explore other options.
