    Bought a Ge Refrigerator in 2020 , has worked perfectly. Was a tough delivery but the company handled it with ease!

    I bought a washer and a fridge from Daniels in September 2018. In May the fridge looks like it caught fire and ruined my food .Daniels said they would work with the factory rep to replace it but I had to call to get a tech sent out first. I've spent a total of about 3 hours on the phone so far to have 1 appointment not scheduled.. the 2nd one not scheduled and now have to wait another 4 days to have someone even look at it .. who's paying for me to eat out?.. who's paying for the food I already lost ?? When I first stopped back at Daniels they made it sound all too easy to get replaced but now when I call no one has a clue what the issue is .. I give one star now .. if they make good I'll change my rating ... UPDATE.. I called today and spoke with Mark.. I told him that I had a case number from Frigidaire for the replacement.. his response was .. well we don't have anything.. very disappointing when I was previously told by the Operations Director that they would do everything they could do to assist, and work with their sales rep.. This has been a horrific experience that I hope no one else ever has to go thru. It is now June 10 .. and I have been without a fridge since May 23...UPDATE.. June 11.. Rod. The Operations Director.. called me today (funny they only call when something is posted online).. he claims he spoke to his sales rep and it will be ANOTHER 7 to 10 BUSINESS. Days before a new fridge will arrive at their store to replace .. Stay Tuned .... UPDATE... still no replacement...today will be day 8 since any update from the store.. and 29 days with no fridge!!..June 25..UPDATE.. well today is 10 business days since the last communication with the store.. and day 33 with no fridge.. lets see if they call.. for a store that told me they would work with their sales rep to get this resolved.. It seems either they don't have a good relationship with the rep... or they simply don't give a shit as long as they got their money. The store responded to the BBB complaint that they offered a loaner fridge.. however that statement was 100% not true.. they never offered to bring a 'loaner' . I thought I would be further ahead trying to support a small, local business, but this experience has taught me otherwise.. THEY DON'T STAND BEHIND WHAT THEY SELL. It's one excuse after another. They don't have a service tech on site not because they do 't have the work.. but because they're too damn cheap to pay one !!.. let's see what today brings and will update if there's a change.. UPDATE.. June 27.. Rod.. the Director Of Operations.. called me yesterday to let me know the new fridge has arrived and we scheduled the delivery for this Saturday.. he's making it very clear that the blame for this is Frigidaire.. and not with his store.. Every conversation is the same thing.. I'm well aware that Daniels did not manufacture the appliance.. and there are policies that need to be followed.. however 35 days with no fridge.. and it's time to make exceptions to standard policies .. UPDATE... The new fridge was delivered Saturday . the delivery driver was the same one that brought the first one and he was as pleasant and as friendly as he was the first time.. As a Customer Experience Manager, I feel this whole situation was not handled with the customer in mind.. Although the warranty was not issued by Daniels.. I feel that they could have done something to move this along alot quicker than it was.. My nephew was here over the weekend and they have dealt with Daniels many times .. they need to buy a new dryer this month ana he said that after this mess, he'll never deal with the store again.. all I can say is .. 'Buyer Beware'.. they are fast to make the sale and take your money, But when there is an issue. they are just as fast to pass the buck/blame off to someone else.. Make sure to ask questions.. it's worth a couple extra bucks to know what the service policies are after the sale ..

    Basic hardware store. Sufficient stock for the size of the store. Service seems indifferent at times.

Let me start this review by saying our refrigerator is garbage, dont buy Samsung! Doug came out in April and spent an hour+ defrosting buildup. He made some minor repairs and cleanups and left us with a 30 day guarantee. We had to call him again in May when ice buildup returned, and he came back (both of us) knowing it was not the fault of his labor, but rather the faulty craftsmanship of our refrigerator. Doug has a lot of knowledge and even more through consultation with his father's decades of experience. He made literal MODIFICATIONS to our refrigerator (moving a sensor or thermometer or something) to make our refrigerator function as it should. Concepts Samsung clearly missed in the manufacturing of their junk refrigerator. I am so grateful for his work ethic and help, our refrigerator has been saved. Best money spent this year!
