Seriously the best retro game store I've ever been to! They have pretty much everything, prices are about the same as you would find online. Don't expect to negotiate. Don't expect to get a deal or get over on anyone here by finding something really valuable for really cheap. Do expect to pay a fair price and get a quality game that has been cared for. I'm simply amazed by the inventory here. I think they have just about anything you're looking for retro. They also sell Pokemon cards, DBZ cards and some other cool items. spent 30 mins arguing with the owner over the prices of the games, first employee told me they are valued using price charts and try to work with customers, after they were asked why a copy of goldeneye 007 and zelda for the n64 were marked up 200%... long story short the owner and I agreed on "it's my store i make the prices" if you enjoy your hard earned money and want to get more for your buck then avoid this place like the plague. they mark everything up by 100-400% reminder they say that they go off of ebay and price charts but they don't. they just make yo their own prices, this place is the worst retail /pawn/game store I have ever been to in my 25+ years of gaming. My guess the reason they have to mark all the product so high is because they need to make up for having nearly 10 people working in a small store at 11am... poor business decisions, don't see them lasting much longer. Neat little place to walk around and look at the games for a few mins, but then get out and go buy your games at GameXchange or search on Marketplace for an actually fair price. read more

I had bought my boyfriend the Metal Gear Solid Legacy collection (PS3) for Christmas. We were both unaware that MGS, the first game, was not on the disc itself but downloaded content. (Which had already been claimed/expired.) We did not realize this til after we got home. When my boyfriend went to go return the game the next day, the manager had admitted to the game being returned before for the same issue and that admitted to pricing the gaming with knowledge that the content was no longer apart of "The Legacy Collection". Not only that but the employee he spoke to had told him that he should've done his research before buying, which I find most insulting considering you guys sold it with the knowledge that it was not there. And as well NOWHERE on the packaging does it say DLC or downloaded content. The attitude he was met with is ridiculous. This is most disappointing considering the staff in store when I bought the game we're very nice and even considerate when the 50cent sticker machine ate my 50c, they gave me two cards of stickers! read more

do not sell or buy their products at the original price, as they tend to double the price within a few weeks. I tried selling a Wii that I saw on Ebay for about $80. I bought a Wii there for $70-75, plus tax, when selling the item, they denied my offers of $60 or $50. the console was used, had only a few blemishes, and the GameCube door was missing. instead, they offered me 15$ and gave me an excuse, saying that the Wii is a common console, and they could not accept 50-69 at a lower price. read more

I really want to like this place. I've been here twice now buying NES classic games. First time I bough around 25 for about $1100 second time I bought 10 or so for about $650. They have a game over there they will just not come down in price at all. I understand your business you do what you want but since the owner is not willing to work with me on a game priced at $699 (about $600 on eBay) I'll be going someplace else. Also the first time I went in the staff was extremely helpful, went above and beyond, gave me a notebook to write down the list of games my son and I were buying. Second time I had just gotten off work and got treated differently for sure. Very little help and when I asked for something to write on they said they didn't have anything and then handed me a sticky note. Unfortunately I do spend a good amount of money buying and collecting I just won't be doing it here again. read more

Only pro I have about this place is that they have a pretty fair stock of games but I couldn't make a purchase due to rude staff. I asked what info they pull online to get their prices, as for anything but the most common games they are vastly overblown (some as much as double market),only to be met with hostility and vitriol. I didn't ask to price match, just what factors they used to determine. Secondly a game cartridge that is beat up and colored on in not the same price as a pristine cartridge. Don't come here unless you couldn't care less about what you're paying P.S. The owner or manager woman needs to stay off the floor and let the poor employees work. I've never seen someone talk over people and micromanage employees so hard. Pretty uncomfortable to try to ask a question while she demands center stage for 15 minutes while customers wait. read more

My favorite video game store ever- not just because of the nostalgia, the versatile video game collection and trading cards, anime collectibles, and the really good prices- but because of the great customer drive and repair capabilities. I've visited twice to have my first generation/backwards compatible PS3 to get repaired, specifically by Trevor. He has worked wonders and rejuvenated life into my PS3. He provided a detailed breakdown of what he encountered and at an incredibly reasonable and friendly price. He truly has a passion for video games. They offer decent trade-in value for games and consoles. People should be mindful that they are a business so they are of course looking to make a profit, so people shouldn't be upset about getting less than market value on trade-ins. Came here for ds/3ds games and found so many great games! Great stock and amazing prices. They have a bunch of other consoles and games for anyone who enjoys older systems (and I think they had some games for newer systems if I remember correctly). They're very patient about taking things out of the cabinets to let me inspect the quality of the discs and check for manuals, and once popped a SNES cart open for me to see the board's authenticity so we could be sure it wasn't a repro cart. I have been a regular at this store when I lived in Arlington. One of my most favorite video game stores to shop at and staff is very friendly and helpful. I've bought stuff ranging from N64, PS3, Xbox 360 games to complete boxes of Pokémon games and sometimes controllers. For one Pokémon completed box they even opened it to let me verify everything was there and was missing a manual. They had an extra in the back and put it in there before buying. Mario Party 6 was had a mislabeled price and they honored the price that was there. All around awesome customer service and if I'm a lever back in the DFW area, I'd love to go there again! read more

When it comes to video game stores they can't be beat. No one even comes close to the selection and deals they offer. From Atari to PS4 and everything in between. On top of that the owner and staff are super knowledgeable, helpful and all around great people. Good customer service goes a long way and they are definitely on point. If you are looking to sell or trade, bring what you have because the only way you will get a better offer is if you sell it yourself on the internet. They also post new inventory on social media. If you see something you want but are busy, you can pay over the phone and pick it up at your convenience. These guys are great! We have quite a large collection but this place allowed us to expand it even more! They always have great sales going on and gave us a cord or two for free to help us out with a problem we were having with our Sega CD. This was worth the hour and a half drive to get here. The staff was super nice but especially the college aged or so kids that work there are really knowledgeable and cool! It's also great because their Facebook page is a really good way to keep up with them and you can pay for stuff over the phone and get it put on hold- a good way to nab that rare game or console you've been wanting before someone else does! Nice selection of games , and consoles . However I wouldn't advice selling games here (especially rare games ) if you want a even halfway decent price for what they are worth . But generally with places like this that's standard , so not going to harp on that too much . However when I went in the store to get a quote on some games I knew (from research) were worth a good bit ; I was given a quote (for multiple games ) that sounded less than what I expected so I kindly asked if I could be given a quote per game as opposed to the bunch and the kid rudely said "No it's all or nothing ,if I gave you individual prices you'd know what the GOOD stuff is " . Well number 1 that's not true because I've sold to the store only once before and they (at the time ) had no issue telling me the individual prices for the games I was interested in selling , because I had some pretty rare games that they wanted to buy off me and number 2 ; anyone who's offering to sell their games has already done their research and estimates and already know which games in their collection are the "good ones" , at least I do . Again good store and plenty of games that bring back memories and some hard to find jewels , but I wouldn't recommend selling good games here if you want a fair price . read more

I'm a collector and went in to see their retro games selection. The staff and owners are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. If you're looking for common games or systems, they have great prices! Always ask an employee if you're looking for something a little bit rarer as they have all of their really exciting stuff in the back. Their prices range from good to expected...some of the rare stuff is a little pricey but never more than a little over what you can find it on eBay for. I consider that to still be a win because most stores charge WAY over eBay prices! Anyways, I will definitely be back. We go to this store as often as our budget allows! They have not only games, systems, and rare items but also computers and toys. My boys are 19 and 9. Having a store in which both of them can find something they like is a bonus! Their prices are great, too! We live 45 minutes from them and still make the drive because it's worth it!
