I will say that the gravy is pretty salty but that just means you need to use a little on your food. The flavor overall is really good and it doesn't have any MSG, for my understanding. So that's a big deal for me.

Ordered the Hunan Beef with extra beef, Chicken with garlic sauce and pot stickers…read more Yes the pot stickers were thick and doughy, only place that has thin dough is Twin Dragons. BUT Fortune House has delivery (Twin Dragons doesn't) and Fortune House gives you a lot more for your money. Good amount of meat, a lot of crispy, crunchy (no over done) vegetables, bell pepper, water crestnut, carrots, broccoli and bean spouts in a rich creamy nice rich gravy. The garlic chicken was likewise very good. This week I've been trying out many of the Chinese restaurants around Hanover Park and for the money - so far, Fortune House gives you the biggest bang for your buck. Amazed at the difference in restaurants and in my humble opinion, Fortune House this week wins the prize for not being stingy with the meat and veggies. Fast, delicious, big portions and cost effective.

Checked out this place in Schaumburg to get Chinese. Fortune House is as basic as it can get. It…read morehas a counter to order at and not much else to be honest. Basically it's only for carryout orders so know that before. The food is pretty average looking and tasting. Bare bones kind of place where you get it to go. It's got the fairly common items you find at most of these places in strip malls. The atmosphere inside certainly is uninspiring. Hardly any room to even wait inside. It's about $9 for an entree at lunch. I got the Homestyle Bean Curd. This is fried tofu with a spicy brown sauce. Basically this is all there is to it. This also comes with a side of rice. For sure it's not much of a location, just a counter. It's actually open daily, unlike almost every other Chinese place. This is located on Schaumburg Road at Staffire.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, Little Panda has really fallen off for us. We used to enjoy ordering from…read morehere, but the quality and service have noticeably declined while the prices have continued to climb. Our most recent order was the breaking point. The rice was hard and crunchy, and, much more concerning, we were served chicken that appeared undercooked. At that point, this went beyond simply being disappointed with the food. We called the restaurant to let them know what happened and give them an opportunity to address it. Instead of listening to the complaint or trying to make things right, the person we spoke with became rude and argumentative, raised their voice, accused us of lying, and ultimately told us not to come back. That was honestly more disappointing than the bad meal itself. Mistakes happen in restaurants, and we understand that. How you respond when a customer respectfully brings a legitimate concern to your attention says a lot. Between the declining food quality, higher prices, and especially the way our concern was handled, we won't be returning. After being explicitly told not to come back, I suppose that decision was made pretty easy for us.

The Mongolian Beef here is the best in the surrounding area! They have a small sitting area where you can wait for your food. I don't know if she's the owner or not however, her personality is to be desired. She acts very bitchy to her clients. I've experienced this personally several times. It's a huge turn off. It makes me wanna order from somewhere else. In which I have just not to deal with her. But I have to say the food is good. Sometimes it seems rather expensive. Today for three people the order came to $75. And it is takeout only no delivery.

Also very tasty. Definitely believe they use peanut butter so for those allergy people don't recommend it and the Mongolian beef good flavor not overly spicy just right. The fried rice had good flavor. It wasn't just soy sauce coated rice And we definitely plan on being there again.

The portions are generous, and we almost always have plenty of leftovers for another meal. The hot & sour soup is also a great addition, and the fried gyoza are delicious. This place can get busy and take a while to sit down during the dinner rush on Fridays and Saturdays. Cluttered with boxes of supplies and junk. The food is really cheap at least. A restaurant that is bare bones. It's one of those strip mall Chinese restaurants that is similar to all the others.
