Fortnum & Mason is always the highlight of any Terminal 5 layover at Heathrow. The menu is excellent and gives you a chance to eat healthy food, before boarding a long flight where you are often served junk. I always get the sparkling tea and the salad nicoise, which is excellent. I also really love the deco vibe to this cafe that is plopped in the middle of the walkway and at the bottom of an escalator. The people watching here is as great as the service. This last stop, they had chantilly lace as a special and I got it, since I've heard about it in that song, but never have tried it. Delicious, bright, and fresh berries! Just across from the cafe is a Fortnum & Mason gift shop, where I picked up some gifts for friends and family. The rose and violet canisters of biscuits were great gifts, as were the lovely teas. Everything was packaged beautifully to give as unwrapped gifts. See you next time I'm in London!

Can't make it out of Heathrow to downtown London's location? This is a great substitute with an opportunity to bring back coveted gifts from the UK at the same prices. They even offer the basket design service for shipping. I love that there is a location in the airport in case you forget to grab a souvenir for someone.

At Heathrow airport unable to leave without tea. The employees are courteous, helpful and good customer services. You can find different type of tea. Their tea are rich, good taste flavorful.

Getting some chocolates from London is stop by Fortnum and Mason. The service is great and the chocolates might be on the higher side but the quality of the chocolate is really good. There is a variety and sizes to choose from.

Great service! Food and drinks arrived quickly which is super important when I'm an airport. Only downside was the crumpet was a little undercooked but I guess that's just preference! Staff were very friendly and attentive.

We stopped in for a little breakfast of coffee and toast. The service was good and is located in the center. We enjoyed our little break and light breakfast.

On my arrival I wasn't welcomed at all and the staff seemed somewhat uninterested in speaking to customers. It took me more than 5 mins for me to catch the attention of a member of staff so I could place my order. Once I did, the food came very quickly. Food options and portions are not what they were pre covid but none the less, quality and taste very very good indeed! Drinks selection as ever was excellent. The bar is in an ideal place in terminal 5, nice relaxed ambiance and close to most departure gates. F&M please work on the food selection for next time!

So after dinner, we decided to check it out and try a few drinks. She had booked a table, so it wasn't a problem getting in. The table was all marked out for us with a balloon that had her name, our party size and the time. It was a cute way of marking the tables, and it went with the quirky atmosphere of the bar. Quirky? Yes, the bar is quite quirky, pretty much a hipster bastion in Horsham. Balloons? Check. A giant chessboard on the ceiling? Double check. The bathrooms being called the "garden". Oh yes. That being said, the cocktails were interesting and tasty. My partner ordered the "Glastonbooty" that was served in a ceramic boot and had an "absinthe balloon" which turned out to just be a balloon that they sprayed with absinthe. So not so exciting. Plus he said it kind of tasted like dirt. Which may have been the point. I had the "Only Mules and Horses" which came with a photo of Dell Boy and Rodney on the side. For the next round, my partner ordered a Negroni, and it was pretty bitter, even for a Negroni. I just tried shots of their Chai Bourbon and Maple Tequila. The tequila was quite sweet, but nice, but they Chai Bourbon really won me over. So yeah, it's a fun, hipster joint in Horsham. If you're in Horsham, it means it's probably the best place to go.

The place is split over two floors. Ground floor with a few bar stools and big bar and then upstairs where there is much more space for large groups round small tables and again a large bar. The decor is cool and as the name hints there is a little bit of quirky taxidermy going on along with a giant chessboard on the ceiling. You receive table service which is good however I think my only gripe is the service was a little slow to begin with and the cocktails take a while to come. The cocktail menu is awesome with lots of different cocktails available to suit all palates and are served it lots of different ways - in a beer can with a sombrero hat or in a tankard orrrr in a pretty dainty cocktail glass. I'm not sure how often they change the menu but I recommend La Vida Loco & Only Mules & Horses.

It's a lounge for First British Airways customers located in Terminal 5 at London Heathrow. The most premium feature of our visit was being able to dine in the private pre-flight dining booths. This is basically a restaurant-type experience. The food (we ate breakfast) was good and the high partitions in the dining area gave a nice sense of privacy. The service was top-notch and this was the best part of visiting The Concorde Room. After eating, we camped out in the lounge for what was thought to be about an hour, but turned into 3 hours with multiple flight delays. Good news is that the lounge is nice and does offer some outdoor dining as well, so there was plenty of natural light, but the lounge could've benefited from more partitions and more privacy. The decor is fine, but lacked the elevation and sophistication of other first class lounge products. The part where The Concorde Room loses a star is in the bathrooms. They are rather small, gender-neutral restrooms with poor lighting and they really felt like something you would've seen in just a regular terminal. Nothing luxurious about the restrooms whatsoever. Overall, The Concorde Room definitely delivers in the dining realm, but loses its luxury focus in other aspects of its execution.
