My partner ordered the "Glastonbooty" that was served in a ceramic boot and had an "absinthe balloon" which turned out to just be a balloon that they sprayed with absinthe. So not so exciting. Plus he said it kind of tasted like dirt. Which may have been the point. I had the "Only Mules and Horses" which came with a photo of Dell Boy and Rodney on the side. For the next round, my partner ordered a Negroni, and it was pretty bitter, even for a Negroni. I just tried shots of their Chai Bourbon and Maple Tequila. The tequila was quite sweet, but nice, but they Chai Bourbon really won me over. So yeah, it's a fun, hipster joint in Horsham. If you're in Horsham, it means it's probably the best place to go.

The Cobbett, as its known locally, comprises of four bars and lots of different seating areas, and also upstairs are several pool tables. Due to the recent anti smoking legislation the area at the rear of the pub has been modernised with an outside cocktail bar, a gazebo and patio heaters. This is incredibly popular! There is a lunchtime menu available, and a vast selection of lagers and ales. The staff are friendly and plentiful. Getting served is easy.
