    Legendary smash burger
    Cheol K.

Located in Piccadilly next to all the hustle and bustle. This place is like 1995 was bottled up from my youth and transplanted here in London. It is classic Hard Rock. Music is hopping and thankfully I had a reservation. Food was delicious and service was spot on. I got the legendary smash burger. Flavor was amazing and the grilled onions were fantastic. It was a bit saucy, so be prepared to have messy hands. Thankfully the server brought us some wet naps to wipe our hands with.

I came here with a group for the London marathon event. Despite how crowded our room was, with the amount of people coming in and out of the restaurant, the restaurant staff were very friendly and patient with us. Food is what you expect, with a healthy portion.

Fully ICED tea!! This made my day!!

As Americans from Louisiana in London, we were struggling to find food we liked in London after walking all day. The Original Hard Rock was just a few blocks from our hotel and we ended up eating here twice. We were so glad it was there even though we would never choose Hard Rock in the states. Service was great and they fully understood the assignment when I asked for iced tea!!! The atmosphere was full of memorabilia and several servers had worked there for over 30 years.

Cool touristy spot to eat in London right in front of the park and near Buckingham Palace. The waitress told us it was the first Hard Rock restaurant that was established, so a bit of historical nostalgia too. Really nicely decorated. The service was friendly and fast. Food was ok. But if you want a quick bite of American food, here's your spot.

After a long and rainy day on a the Big Bus Tour-- we all worked up an appetite and I noticed this was one of the stops. I figured we could hop off and grab some lunch and continue or journey. Unfortunately, when we went inside, they informed us there was a 90 minute wait! Initially I said no, I would just find an alternate place, but we had to use the bathroom and I said let's just stick it out. As we decided to wait in front-- I discovered they had mulled wine, which I had been searching for since I arrived in London. I was in Paris previously and it had become my favorite thing to have. After about 50 minutes, our buzzer went off. The ambiance is the typical Hard Rock stuff you would see in any of their restaurants. The staff was friendly and someone came over and took our order. We all went with the cheeseburger and I had a side of their twisted Mac. All of our meals came out relatively quickly and we all enjoyed. I would say it was a good decision to wait it out. FYI-- if you have the go city pass-- you can use this as one of your trip options, but the Gold menu is very limited so it may be a better option to just order from the regular menu and save the pass for an attraction.

Great service! Attentive waitstaff and delicious food. Deducted a star because the allergy menu was out of date. I reviewed the menu and ordered nachos but was told that even though it was not marked as not having mustard (potentially trace of nuts) it actually had mustard in the queso! Mustard and potentially nuts in queso! I was horrified that the allergy menu needed to be updated to be accurate and that nachos had mustard let alone nuts! So disappointing. The dessert almost made up for it. Almost.

It was a short wit of about 15 minutes to be seated. Got a Stella at the bar while waiting. I got the London Burger with cheesy Fries. What a fantastic Burger! It had slow cooked roast beef (Yum!). Cheddar cheese, horseradish sauce with gravy. Dam fine burger. My partner said The Messiah Chicken Sandwich was great. Cheese fries with the spices great.

The OG got pretty and kept its spirit . My second time at this location and it will always have a special place in my heart. Our visit was to introduce our children to the original location but we ended up seeing lots of memorabilia and although we didn't collect any t-shirt, I had to add a hat to my collection. The Vault is located in the shop and The Back Room is a small bar (children allowed) that serves a limited amount of menu items, it's located behind the Cafe. Two weeks ago there was a private function from Sir Elton John to the owners of HRC where the matter of his credit card stored in The Vault was brought up, to which Sir Elton John replied "I can assure you it won't work". Of course we were not invited to that private event, we learned this in the tour of The Vault, where the most precious and coveted artifacts belonging to HRC are stored, for example: Slash's wardrobe when playing November Rain. David Bowie's guitar when he played at this HRC for the first time and then gave it to the first owners. Madonna's wardrobe and old credit card . John Lennon's glasses and military jacket used when playing in many concerts, the one he was gifted from a certain general. ... And many more. This Cafe is best enjoyed with live music , every Wednesday from 6:30pm to around 9:00pm. Of course, getting the Original Burger , the one that started it all, was necessary... And so I did. Cheese and onion and other flavors are easy to identify and make it a really good choice. Rodrigo, the Manager is AMAZING. He went above and beyond to ensure that the new points program (Unity) was working for every expense in the restaurant and in The Back Room. He is well versed in English, Spanish and we both agree that better than learning another language, LOVE and MUSIC are the universal languages that will ultimately make humans better. Last party admitted in the restaurant is at 9:30pm. Tours of The Vault run every 20 minutes. The shop closes at 10pm. The original! I finally made it to this original location! After the obligatory photos in front of the cafe, I went to the gift shop and got to go downstairs and see the vault (museum). Took some very cool photos and bought some merch here. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. A great place to visit and with the free vault visit downstairs this is definitely an overlooked free museum in the city of free museums! Check it out.

The Hard Rock store open earlier than the restaurant so if you want to buy their merchandise you can just go a head to the store. Because in their website its said open at 11.30 am but we went there 11am the store already open and if you only gonna buy their merchandise items you can just go a head to their store and buy it. But if you want to have lunch then you have to wait till the restaurant are open.

We shared a big plate of taco ingredients and tortillas. It was all very good and the good news is that with the variety there was something everyone liked. The space was chill and upscale while also feeling trendy. The drinks were also nice, mostly margaritas. In the end, nothing really stood out enough for me to remember or come back for if I wasn't in the area, but it would probably make my easy list of places that won't disappoint near the office.

Unfortunately, Mestizo charges per person and the minimum and maximum is two for this item So I couldn't order for one without paying forty dollars , and I'd be damned to pay that much. Having this rule is ridiculous. I've never been to a Mexican restaurant forcing you to order something that can easily be portioned to one. I ordered a marinated chicken with rice and beans. The beans were out of this world. Such a unique flavor I definitely was not accustomed to in the states. The rice was unfortunately bland. The chicken was marinated in this red sauce and was tasty for the most part. However , when I made my way to the center it became dry and had a weird taste. If you're gonna order this dish, proceed with caution. The dessert really outshined and redeemed my visit somewhat. I ordered the tres leches cake. This dessert is basically like a Mexican version of sticky toffee pudding. There are many overlapping factors. One key difference is tres leches uses a milk and cinnamon base , so it kind of tastes like a horchata cake.

WHAAAAAATTT?!?!?!? The spot is pretty small and intimate with smooth music playing for you to snap your fingers to while chatting all night long. They were pretty busy so they offered us a seat at the bar where Simon, the bartender, greeted us warmly. We perused the menu with big eyes and salivating mouths. We started off with drinks - I got a pink drink that was similar to a jalepeno margarita but better - looks like pepto bismol but was SO good, friend got agua refresca which also had a hint of spice - SO GOOD. Now, let's get to the food! First round we ordered chips & guacamole, pork belly chicharron and the tuna sashimi tostadas - absolutely divine. The pork belly was perfection, crispy outside and soft inside and the tuna was amazingly soft! Next round was 'Nduja esquites (fried corn) and the pumpkin & cauliflower barbacoa - meals like this make me realize I truly could be a vegetarian. The plating of the food was absolutely beautiful and we loved watching the head chef Raul and his sous chefs work. He is so serious about his craft - focused, determined and the food is served with bravado and love. Next time over the pond, I definitely plan to pop in here again! Who knew London was such a foodie's paradise?

Second was the fish taco. Lightly battered with a stunning mayo and lovely pickled cabbage to balance the flavours. The best of the lot (and it was a tough choice) was the pigs head quesadilla. The meat was on top rather than inside which threw me to begin with, but once I got stuck in I didn't care. My god. The actual quesadilla itself was UNBELIEVABLE. Cheesy, soft in the middle with a crispy edge, just delicious. And the pork and pickled cabbage combo on top was out of this world. I could have eaten 3 quite easily. My mezcal negroni was lush. Not discernibly different from a normal, well made negroni (a good thing) and I enjoyed it a lot. Service was excellent and friendly and dishes came out when ready. Place itself was very buzzy and cool, great atmosphere. Quality lunch at a quality restaurant.
