Shrimp fettuccine and Caesar salad

Coppa is absolutely beautiful and right on the river. They have some really great domes to sit in out on the patio. We chose to sit inside. Our server was so sweet and patient. We tried several apps and all were great. We were too hungry to snag pics before devouring. The croquettes, burrata, and zucchini frittes were so tasty. Everywhere in London needs a little salt n pepper added. Pro tip, do this for all the food and it's amazing. Fish n chips were just ok. The beef tataki was perfection. Give this spot a shot.

If you're looking for a traditional english breakfast with a view, look no further. I came here one morning with a few girlfriends during my trip to London and had a really good time ! We sat in the igloos outside which I would highly recommend doing. The views are amazing !!! You get to sit and eat breakfast while staring at the Tower Bridge. The outdoor patio where the igloos are located looks like a beautiful greenhouse garden. Definitely tons of photo ops here. I wish I could tell you more about the food but I didn't eat much. I ordered a mimosa, two fried eggs, and a croissant which was the most perfect buttery flaky goodness... I heard great things about the food from my friends though. One of them ordered a traditional breakfast with baked beans, black pudding, eggs, sausage and toast which was interesting... but she enjoyed it ! The only downside was the service... I would blame it on being in a igloo but we kept asking our waiter for things multiple times and he kept forgetting about us. But my overall experience here was really good ! I also would like to note that I love how in EU you are given the bill and you're allowed to just split everything and pay while they're in front of you.

Trout! Delicious!!! I added a bit of salt.

Whoa!!! I have had the best time at this place! Convenience: this place is across the street from St. Paul's cathedral which was a relief! Ambience: this spot is trendy with an attractive bar and seating area. The vibe is professional, yet casual and upbeat. Service: Everyone has been delightful and knowledgeable. Our food and drinks arrived quickly and we were checked on moderately to make sure our food was satisfactory. Food: I ordered the trout with a butter leaf lettuce salad and the hubs ordered the vegan burger and added cheese. We had the pecan pie for dessert. Everything was super tasty, especially my butter leave salad - epic. The hubs LOVED the vegan burger and my Chardonnay was super crisp. Price: Perfect for the value!

Our last night In London. And we've decided to give this place a try. It didn't disappoint. The view of the Tower Bridge at night was awesome. We wanted to sit outside where the igloo shape room was but it was all taken. Our reservation was at 7pm and we didn't get seated till 7:15 pm. Our server was great. He was prompted with our orders. I ordered the 8 oz steak. It was cooked perfectly and juicy. The pasta was also great. If you're ever in London give this establishment a try but make sure to make a reservation.

This place has one thing going for it. The location. The views are great and it's easy to get to. The benefits stop there. They appear to be chronically understaffed and we waited a long time for food and drinks despite it being late and the restaurant being nearly empty. The food was just ok, certainly not up to the standards I would have expected from a place with such an upscale vibe. Servers appeared inexperienced and unprofessional, like they were in training at Applebee's not at a high end restaurant. All in all I suppose coming here for a glass of wine or a beer would be great but maybe just skip it and take the pictures from outside the restaurant.

My family and I had a great experience here at the Coppa Club St. Paul's location accompanied with a great view of St. Paul's Cathedral during sunset. We were assisted by a lovely waitress who was very friendly and provided exceptional service. We ordered: - Seared King Prawns (appetizer - had more of a Thai flavor) - Coppa Club Burger - Flash Steak & Fries - Margherita Pizza What was interesting was that they provided a little wash bowl which I believe was for washing our hands after peeling the saucy prawns. All the dishes were appetizing and I personally enjoyed the flash steak. I'm not familiar with 'British feather blade steak', but it was nonetheless flavorful. (One drink was also ordered, but I can't remember which one aside from there being a blackberry on top of the drink) If you're nearby St. Paul's Cathedral, this is a nice, more secluded spot away from all the busyness of Central London.

Great place!

This place is great! Not only does it have a great location, its also surprisingly cheap and offers great food quality. The dishes are creative and elaborate, but keep it classy and reasonably priced. The interior is very beautiful too! A pleasent surprise, i thought if would just be a touridty place with ridiculous prices

Put my order in and it came out very quickly (under 10 minutes). Everything tasted AMAZING. I've honestly never had better toast at brunch. The tomatoes were flavorful and juicy. The eggs weren't over done. Everything was great. Staff checked in to see if I needed anything a couple times throughout the meal so I definitely didn't feel neglected. Overall a great experience. I would definitely go back during my next trip to London!

The staff is friendly and welcoming as well. Although it does get quite busy during peak hours, reservations on OpenTable are not difficult to come by. I would have wanted to give a better rating, but the food was nothing special. // Sugar Cured Prawn Omelette (£9.80) - 3 stars The smoked chili sambal is really what gave this dish a burst of flavor. Although the size of the omelette itself was quite small, it comes with two slices of bread to fill you up. // Tea Smoked Salmon (£10.50) - 2 stars Contrary to the dish's name, the salmon was actually served baked, rather than smoked. I would have preferred the latter on an eggs Benedict, as it turned out to be quite bland. The English muffins also lacked that extra crunch.

I was greeted with cheerful smiles and friendliness each time. The first time I just went simple with a plain bagel, and they toasted it just enough where it wasn't over-toasted or under-toasted so that the butter wasn't soaking through the bagel. The second time around, I expanded and ordered a basic sandwich; it was a great portion and had lots of freshness from the taste of the ingredients. My partner had an English breakfast, and it was a generous portion as well. The little bites I was offered, that tasted great as well. Time in London was limited, and this was expected to be a treat. It did not disappoint! The decor is hunting and game themed, with different trophies displayed on the walls, and the lamps and seating - in fact, the whole vibe - feels like the 1700s or early 1800s. Upon being handed a menu, I asked the waiter, "Does the menu change every week?" "Every day, sir!" he replied. Pheasants, grouse, pigeons, rabbits, and other game were hanging in the traditional manner to tenderize, reminding me of village butcher shops from my boyhood. Candles were lit and centuries-old etching depicting various scenes of the chase adorned the walls. My two grown children and I ordered venison kofta, cod cheeks, and truffle artichoke toast to start, with the mains being muntjac deer leg (X2) and Yorkshire grouse with game jus, along with sides. Absolutely delicious! A lot of meat on the deer leg, so I had to help my daughter finish hers. The dishes were refined but not over-complicated - again, something I'd expect to eat at the Duke of Wellington's table after Waterloo. However, we really were spoilt for choice: partridge, rabbit pie, and the signature jugged hare also appealed. Maybe next time! Great drink selection with plenty of wine pairing options, and a nice glass of port to finish off. If you are an American outdoorsman reading this, then you absolutely MUST come here! This place is unmissable for any field and stream enthusiast! Not to mention a splendid advert for oft-maligned British cuisine. A memorable, wonderful gem of a place.

They are located just outside downtown London and near the financial district. After a long underground ride, we arrived at a classic looking British pub. We were seated downstairs in a very busy dining hall that looked like a proper hunting lodge kitchen. For Christmas eve, the place was packed with large groups celebrating the holidays. We ordered the sea snails with garlic / butter and sourdough, and deer tartar with game chips, mustard, bone marrow and toast. These were good and had a very rustic flare. For dinner, I ordered the red legged partridge, spelt, njuda and kale. The partridge was tough and not much flavor. The spelt and njuda was fantastic and a real flavor bomb. My first spelt encounter but definitely not the last. The kale was fine. The meal was solid but nothing to write home about. The atmosphere and setting was good along with the service. I'm glad we tried a standard English pub but not impressed by the food. Regardless of the meal, it was still a great family memory.

However, I must say in my two dining experiences at Karpo....I found none of the above to be true, and in fact quite the opposite. First of all, its not REALLY a hotel restaurant. Yes it has an entrance from the Megaro Hotel and provides their in-room dining, but it really seems much more of a "stand-alone." Room Service: A pleasant gentlemen delivered me a spread including: hot tea, lam shank with asparagus and pea puree, mac 'n cheese and a vegetable medley. I didn't have any expectations much, just needed a warm meal on a Friday evening after a particularly exhausting week. And...there it was. It arrived within 20 minutes, fresh, hot and satisfying. I actually remarked to myself that the lamb was some of the best I've had. Certainly not typical "room service" fare. I enjoyed it so much, I headed down for brunch the following morning before tackling all that is London. I perched myself at the bar, enjoyed a double espresso followed by an Americano (told you the week was long!) and then indulged in the eggs benedict. Its not usually my type of dish, but of the few brunch options this seemed to be the best bet for some protein to sustain me through the day. It arrived within 10 minutes, and was delicious. Also, each interaction with the staff was delightful. Including when one of their "regulars" sat beside me and was blitzed out drunk at noon. Not an issue for me, but after being quizzed on the bio of the British Prime Minister (before coffee!) and then told to take a (expletive) taxi back to the States if I wasn't going to learn the ins and outs of the British Parliament...the staff jumped into high gear, distracting the...errr...passionate gentlemen so that I could enjoy my breakfast. A nice gesture, and I was appreciative. Otherwise the service was also good...all smiles and quite warm and friendly, while staying efficient. Cost of both meals (on my hotel bill): 43 GBP. The colors are bright and I am glad I popped into Karpo...worth a try, and conveniently located near Kings Cross, and near many hotels/hostels. Worth the splurge or even just for a pop in for a coffee and croissant to start your day. Skip the chains!

We made reservations at 3pm but it seemed like they had several other tables available for walk-in. The server asked if this was our first time for high tea (not sure if this is protocol or if we were dripping with American vibes). Either way, they were great at walking us through everything to make sure we didn't have any questions. The table settings and overall vibe made me feel like we were super fancy! I ordered the Egyptian Chamomile tea and my husband ordered the Earl Gray. The menu had descriptions of the types of teas which can help you pick out what you'd like. I think we both liked my Chamomile better with a tad of sugar which was on the table. We happened to visit during the Chelsea Flower Show time, so they had 2 different types of specialty desserts- we ordered one of each. The sandwiches were all delicious- I loved the salmon and my husband wanted to ask for the Coronation Chicken Salad recipe. The scones were out of this world, and I have a new favorite food called clotted cream. The desserts were so, so good and had a little bit of everything- chocolate, tarts, fruity...you'll find something you like! To be quite frank, we did our due diligence with finding a place to have high tea. There were some that were almost twice as expensive as this place, and I have a hard time believing they would have been twice as good. If you're looking for a simple afternoon tea experience, make sure to add this to your short list. Brasserie Max is elegant, simple, and delicious- highly recommended!
