Moms Feeling Themselves party. A do not miss!

Great vibes for the MFT dance parties. Crafty cocktails, lovely vibes, and so so much fun at the Ft Greene. I love that it a woman owned business and that another women owned business uses them for their parties. Good drinks for $12 are hard to come by these days and this place has it! This would also make for a lovely book club night, bridal shower, etc.

We went to Fort Greene on a Saturday night around 11:30, and we didn't have to pay a cover. A DJ was performing, and the bar had plenty of people dancing, but it wasn't too crowded--it was just right. What makes this bar stand out is its decor: hanging plants, hanging paper decorations, lit candles, books, a piano, interesting art, retro furniture, etc. There are a few different rooms to choose from, plus an outdoor patio. The vibes here were very cool, and people were dressed in a funky way. I'd recommend this place for a night out!

Super cute bar. Strange area of town but loves the ambience on the inside. Very antique furniture. Drinks were excellent. Prices were reasonable.

Fort Greene is a great, inclusive cocktail bar in Globeville. Its friendly bartenders serve up strong cocktails in an eclectic setting. Paper poppies hang from the ceiling in the main room to match the beautiful red lamps over the bar. If you want to venture in further, there are other rooms with couches and skeletons of old tv sets, wicker chairs in a room with lights that look like floating clouds, or their patio. Super cool, chill place to grab a drink and hang out.

We were SO BLESSED to be welcomed to have our baby shower at Fort Greene! They offer special event booking, and we were thrilled when we were able to save a spot! This was the perfect place for our friends and family to meet. The decor, plants, lighting, back porch, everything was exactly what we wanted. The rental rate was very affordable, and great access to lots of parking and the highway for guests traveling in. We preferred an alcohol free shower, and they had plenty of NA options on the menu for our guests! We were allowed to bring in our own caterer for breakfast things, as well as coffee. They even recommended a photographer from the community to take photos-which turned out so beautiful! I could keep going with my gratitude, but I highly suggest you take the time to check out this venue yourself. They get booked up quickly in the warm months, so reach out early to save your space!

We had our wedding reception here and it was PERFECT. The owner was accommodating and very easy to communicate with. The people who worked our event were very kind and helpful. The night was amazing and we are forever grateful!!!!!

Very hip spot, COVID friendly, and live music! I came here to meet with some friends to celebrate a birthday! I've never been here before and was pleasantly surprised! Fort Greene accommodated a group of around 20 people to spend time in their outdoor patio. Other patrons had plenty of seating and there was not a long line at the bar. This spot is known for their cocktails! They have a great selection and the prices are reasonable for the quality! We did not stay long enough to see the music act, but they were setting up inside in a very well decorated room! We would definitely return

I finally made it to Fort Greene after a year of wanting to go! I had received a gift card for my birthday last year but of course dumb Covid has kept me away until now. Descreet building across from Globe Hall- could be easy to miss if you didn't know what you were looking for but that adds to the charm! The interior makes you feel like you're at an eclectic great aunt's house, and not in a bad way. A super cozy space with craft cocktails and a cool ambiance. I wasn't overwhelmed but the cocktails, but they were good. Their merch is super cool too- love that they leveraged their architecture in the design. Can't wait to come back in warmer weather!

It's a great little rooftop deck/bar. - The indoor lounge space is cozy and inviting. - The two cocktails I had there were well balanced and delicious. Not overpriced, considering location and vibe. Cons: - The very first bartender we went to (shorter, older guy with a beard) was pretty rude. I understand they were extremely busy and this was probably one of their first services, but at one point while he was making drinks I asked him a question about one of the cocktails and he barked at me to please stop talking to him because he was trying to remember the ingredients and he would be with me in a minute. My friends and I were all kind of taken aback by that. I wasn't being annoying, I was very friendly... and it would've been my first drink of the night so it wasn't a great experience to start out. - This is definitely a bougier place. Some of the guests definitely made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Like we weren't fashionable enough, didn't look rich enough or had enough lip filler to be there. Unfortunately the overall experience was not great. My friend made a reservation for the pool and expressed that we were interested in swimming and cooling off. We were give direct permission to swim, relax, and enjoy. Upon arrival we were brought to the patio furniture around the pool which gets extremely hot in the sun. After enjoying a round of drink and food, we got into the pool and lounged around the sides. We were approached by the only other person at the pool and were harshly told what we can and cannot be doing. This person was a resident and told us that we couldn't even touch a lounge chair. It was very rude and unnecessary considering the 30 empty chairs all around. This person then contacted the waitress and manager and made a huge deal of it. We were eventually asked to get out of the pool. This seemed like a huge miscommunication handled very terribly. This was not a great look for the building as it is still leasing unit out.

I guess the only thing that rubbed me the wrong way was when the hostess said something like, "oh, you don't have a reservation? let me see if we can get you in." She came back and said, "we only have the bar available." So we stood/sat at the bar. But there were clearly open tables. 20 minutes into our experience, the bartender was like, "just take one of those tables." I know they could have been reserved, and they had to hold them for a little bit longer... but the hostess didn't have to have attitude, and could have said something like -- 'we can seat you here if no one shows up.' I should probably give them 3 stars, but think there is potential here.

Well alcohol was not great quality. 20% tip is included and not highlighted. Unless you read every page of the menu, you will not know. Our server didn't mention it- just handed us the total and tip screen. We ended up tipping on top of it, so that was a VERY expensive martini! Would not go back. Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.
