They'll show you the Carfax showing minor damage, and claim that's the only damage, but beware they'll shove AutoCheck in the paperwork and have you sign acknowledgment of the structure damage without actually disclosing it.
They also Changed the rate, bank approval, and payment without acknowledgment.
I went back not ever 12 hours later and they threatened to have the car towed away if it was left there.
They said it was driven off the lot so that they aren't responsible anymore, but they drove it off the lot, not me. They dropped the car off in-front of my driveway.
They also refused to give me the contract and all signed documents when I asked, I kept getting the, "yes I'll give it to you later." And it was then emailed once it was infront of my home.
They crossed out the lien holder name, and wrote in another without letting us know before emailing us the contract, then when i asked to confirm they responded with, "the approval is with whoever I want. I decide who to approve you with, at whatever rate I want."
I have recorded calls with these people. They never provided their real names. The sleezy GM I spoke to over the phone said his name was Alex, there is no Alex at the dealers he said his name was then Will, there is no Will at the dealer.
They used fake names, the guy Edgar, fake Will, fake Alex, and JP. They're all shady. The entire dealer is, and it's such a shame. They refused to take the cancelation fee of $750 dollars, only wanted cash. When I said why are changes being made, don't they get audited, he got upset, it hurt their ego, and refused to assist us afterwards.
Great credit 853 credit score. They asked for 1k down, and said they got me an 8%. After hours, we got the cash, canceled the contract, and they didn't provide a cancelled contract form.
We then walk out, JP followed and laughed said that he did disclose damages and when they didn't.
He then said, "you're buying a used car so yeah it'll going to have damage. If you want one with no structure damage a new one."
Sooo we did, that's what we get for settling. We drove to a franchise dealer, bought a new NX300 for only $30 more a month, $0 down. They also agreed what they did is illegal. And we didn't drive the car off the lot, and contract wasn't provided till 40 min afterwards, and changed.
I have the recorded calls, and interaction while at the dealer.
Filing report with the Better Business Bureau.
Had to lock credit since they began sending it everywhere to upset us.
