While my friends opted for rolls, I actually decided to do the $60 omakase. I really enjoyed it! One of my favorite things was the hamachi handball, but unfortunately I forgot to take a picture before digging in. Decent amount of food for that price and everything tasted pretty good! Love that this is a smaller place and you can see and hear the sushi chefs (they sang happy birthday to a table nearby). Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I would come back for sure.

The ambience is very chic and old school mixed with new school vibes. They were very accommodating with customizing roles, which I appreciated. We ordered the Kamikaze roll with some variations and the staff was able to make that happen. The spicy tuna mixture was excellent, the tuna that was laid as a layer on top was perfectly cut, and the whole roll melted in your mouth. The elements of the sauce paired well with the fish combinations. I was very impressed with the quality of the fish, as well as the pairings that they had for the rolls. The rice was not stale, and it was very moist for you to work with. We also ordered the edamame, which was simple yet paired well and it was a good taste while being fresh. Overall, the experience was amazing, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants fresh seafood at a high-quality taste.

I am familiar with the area but didn't know that this restaurant was located in this small strip mall. I pass this strip mall all the time when going to the Alamo Drafthouse for movies, but never thought about pulling into here due to the small parking lot and that it is always crowded. Walking into the restaurant, there is a kiosk where you can order your food. As it was late and I just wanted to eat and not make a lunch for tomorrow, I ordered a Spinach Pie and a Combination Meat Plate (Beef kabob, Kifta kabob, Chicken Kabob and Chicken shawarma. Served with Rice, Salad, Hummus and pita bread) so I could have leftovers to take to work the next day. I placed my order, paid for it and had to wait for about 15 minutes to get my food. While waiting, I was able to look around the restaurant to see it was clean and brightly lit. The table and floors were clean and there were a few customers dining inside. The staff was nice and friendly as well. I got my food home and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of food in the combo dish. There was a good amount of meat and rice, enough for two people easily. The combo dish is $25 but well worth it. The meat was cooked nicely and had good flavor. As good as that combo dish was, that Spinach pie was on point! The flavor was great and the dough was nice and fluffy/tasty. The food was so good that I decided to put in an order on Grubhub the next night to get it for dinner for later in the week. I wanted to place an order on Grubhub to get free delivery as a Prime member, but the online menu did not have the Spinach pies listed, so I ended up having to call into the restaurant to place my order. When you call into the restaurant, they take your number and will send you a link to pay for your order and to send them your address and delivery instructions. I ordered the same items again, but got extra Spinach pies and a Greek Salad with chicken as well. The delivery guy was nice and brought my food up to me as instructed. The salad was fresh and there was plenty of Chicken Shawarma on top of it. I ended up having that for dinner as well as one of the Spinach pies and it was delish. The Chicken Shawarma was very nice and again, this was a decent size salad and was filling along with the pie. I definitely want to go back to try some of the other dishes that they have, like the wraps and the gyro plate and/or wrap. There is a lentil soup I would also like to try as well. I would definitely recommend Falafel & Grill for eats.

Like most Yelpers I checked out a few places in the area before finally coming across Selis Eyebrows. The brow technician that I met during my first visit is what made them stand out from the rest. Anytime I visit a new brow salon I bring a reference photo of my favorite brows. I show them so they can visualize how I like my brows. This may seem extreme but I do not have much luck with salons that have rotating technicians. I have a shaved head so having messed up brows impacts my face even more. The technician I encountered was so sweet and understanding. She assured me that all of the salon technicians focus on cleaning up the brows during your first visit. They like to follow your natural brow line unless you state you want something in particular. She made me feel at ease and I loved the end result. Since I waited a longer period of time to visit my brows were more messy which typically hurts more but she was gentle. I took a long time grow out my eyebrow tips from the years of waxing and trying to force myself to have an arched brow. During my visit she didn't default to making my brows thin and kept them fuller which is my preference. The inside of the salon is spacious and always clean. Every time I've visited there wasn't too much of a line. I normally visit on the weekdays not around their peak hours. They do offer appointments if you are pressed for time and don't want to wait. I hope Selis Salon stays in the area for a long time because they are top notch.

I needed several installs pendant lights, a ceiling fan, and vanity lights but most companies either dragged their feet on quotes or gave me "I don't want to do this" pricing. One competitor, Mr. Mighty Electric, quoted me 3x the rate and charged a trip fee just to look at the place! Boz (the owner) was a true professional from the start. He came out for a walkthrough the same week I called, took detailed notes, and was incredibly respectful (he even took his shoes off without being asked). He promised a quote the next day and delivered a very reasonable, detailed estimate. On installation day, Boz arrived on time with three workers, gave them a clear game plan, and specifically instructed them to minimize wall damage to save me from extra painting. The crew was fantastic they checked in with me on heights for the fan and pendants before finalizing anything. They worked for 8 hours and the result was outstanding. I was so happy with the quality that I tipped the whole crew. If you want fair pricing and high quality work, call Highlights. I'll be using them for every future project!

(Electrical panel replaced for six unit apartment building) It should be noted that this was no small job. I couldn't help but notice how they cleaned the work area at the end of each day. Hopefully, I won't need such a big job in the future. Just knowing that I have such a remarkable company to rely on, Highlights Chicago will certainly get my repeat business, big or small.
