I just had a service done by forever vent by Jesse and Chris. This review is not about the company, or Jesse, but about Chris. Jesse was fantastic! I had a million questions and he answered them all without making me feel like I was bugging him. Chris on the other hand, didn't even really talk at all. His attitude was that he didn't really give a $&#!. He leaned back while in my bedroom and sat on my bed while Jesse was doing something on the ladder. As soon Chris saw me he stood up. Not OK, like AT ALL. That's my very personal space and sanctuary, he has no right to be that comfortable, while on a job, in someone else's home. Especially in MY home, on MY bed. Also, a textbook was on my desk and it's pages got crumpled while they worked on my office vent, I asked Chris what had happened and he acted like it was new to him. I had seen him lean forward to touch something on my desk, while Jesse was on the ladder, which is why I checked my desk at all. He played it off and gave me a half-ass apology. I told him to be careful and if something was in the way to tell me and I'd move it for them. Then he mockingly asked Jesse why he ruined my text book. That book cost me$200. It was only three pages, but still. Just the fact that he has a disregard for other's homes and property is disheartening. I won't use this company again because of Chris. Bad service. read more

I bought a LivingSocial for duct cleaning from Forever Vent and couldn't be happier! Although they were only 15 minutes behind schedule, they were very proactively upfront and honest about the reason why and assured me that my technician would be arriving shortly. As promised, Luis arrived right on schedule and was VERY respectful in many ways. He was respectful of my home and also my limited knowledge of air duct systems. He took his time to demonstrate his professionalism and explain what he was doing as well as made sure I was comfortable with everything that was going on. After explaining that I should get this sort of thing done every other year (no matter what company I use classy/honorable move right there) he explained what he could do for me moving forward if I chose to use his company again - which I certainly will be after this! read more

I purchased the groupon for unlimited vent cleaning after moving into a condo and wasn't sure when the last owner had them cleaned. The company did not have any appointments available for two weeks, and only during my work hours, so I waited until I had a bit of time off. I received a call two days before my appointment saying that they needed to reschedule due to a truck breaking down, they tried to reschedule me for the next week, but I told them that I was not able to reschedule for then. They squeezed me in for two days later, so I was satisfied. I received a call the morning of my new appointment saying that the tech might not be able to complete the service because I was on the second floor-something that I disclosed when making my first appointment. The tech said that he could come in and do an inspection anyways. He kept trying to convince me that mold was in my system-something that I know is false as I had a professional inspection a month ago. He kept trying to upsell for sanitizing services-trying to make another $350! groupon will not refund me, so I rescheduled again for later in the week, I will update after the third appointment. This is three days that I have now wasted for this stupid groupon-the money saved is definitely not worth the time wasted. *Update: The owner of the company called me personally and I talked to him about the issues. He seemed very genuine and like he wanted to rectify the situation. The two employees that came out were fast, efficient, and professional. I found out that the first guy sent out was actually a contractor they had to call in due to being too busy. The employees from the company were so much more professional than him. They did offer a service upgrade (threw in sanitation) to make up for the lost time and frustration. read more

I purchased a Groupon for forever vent as our renter had had respiratory issues and I wanted to make sure the ducts were clean. They said full vent cleaning. They came opened up the latch and said "we can clean the dust but not the mold. That's probably why you've been sick." They were there for no more than 15 minutes and said mold removal would cost $750. Today I got a second opinion in which there was no mold found and the ducts were completely filthy as shown by pictures taken. They completely lied from top to bottom and cleaned nothing. They are not listed in the better business burea under forever vent. The website they take you to doesn't work. Forget the money, to put fear in people who are sick and desperate with dishonesty is sickening. I am not sure how they sleep at night, but they can not be trusted. read more

I bought a Groupon and when he came out, he ended up asking if I would like my furnace cleaned for an additional charge. He ended up charging me $700 to clean a 1000 sq foot house. Wow.....talk about honest and professional service! They came out to my new home and did an amazing job cleaning my very dirty vents. Upon inspection ti the air conditioning unit....they found mold and a clogged drain system in the unit. This could of caused a lot of respiratory and health issues if we had let it go until the summer. I thank forever vent for sending such a knowledgeable tecnician. Hired Forever Vent to clean air ducts in home my wife and I recently purchased and renovated. The home was built in the 70s and don't think the air ducts had ever been cleaned. Forever Vent was professional, arrived on time, was great with a puppy we had at the house and did a great job cleaning everything up. Todd and Oliver came today to clean my air and dryer vents. They arrived on the first hour of the four hour window. They're both very nice, respectful and honest. They did not sell me any extra service I didn't need but only recommended services based on their inspection. They showed me before and after photos after cleaning the AC coils. ***Update*** I spoke with the office person and she explained there was a misunderstanding and my appointment was rescheduled *** I would really love to give a good review for this company. I researched their previous reviews before purchasing the Groupon, and they seemed like an upstanding dependable business. We are new(er) homeowners and were looking for a good company to go to for regular mainenance. I called and left a voicemail to get scheduled, since I knew I had a couple of weekdays off that week. I was hoping to get scheduled on one of those days. But my timing wasn't good, and their schedule was full for those days. So I spoke with the office person and explained that my husband and I both work Monday to Friday so I needed to know what their availability looked like to do evening or weekend. She said they may be able to get someone out Sunday between 1 and 4 pm, But needed to confirm with the technician first. She put me on a brief hold and then came back on the line and said they could do this Sunday. She explained that the office is not open over the weekend so I would need to stay by my phone as the technician would call me before coming, and if I don't answer he will consider it a no show, and will have to re-schedule the appointment. I felt that is reasonable and said I would be sure to have my phone on me to accept his call. Come Sunday both my husband and I waited by the phone anxious to not miss the call, but it never came. I understand that Sunday service is not usual practice for most businesses, so it is possible that the schedule was confused. I called and left a voicemail with the office, and hopefully they will call me back on Monday to resolve. Hoping I can still have a better experience upon which I will update my review accordingly. read more

They were very nice and responsive. The technicians were able to come out within 24 hrs. My only negative experience was that the technician said the office didn't tell him I had scheduled the air vents on top of the dryer vent to be cleaned. It wasn't a huge deal though since they were able to clean them, without hassle. I would use them and recommend them in the future. read more

My HVAC filters were getting extremely dirty every month. I had Forever Vent come out and do a deep cleaning on my HVAC ducts. They did a thorough job and now no more extremely dirty filters. I now also save money on my monthly bill since the air flow is not restricted. Also purchased a filter from them which is reusable. This will pay for itself in a year. read more

KDM Services came to my house and performed a maintenance cleaning on the duct system. They said that I needed a deep cleaning and sanitizing disinfectant of the air duct system. They did give me a discount as I had gone through Groupon, which I appreciated. They worked very hard when they were here. However, they never put down any plastic while cleaning all of the vents. Our house was filthy from top to bottom because they didn't put anything down to collect the dust from the vent cleaning. I called the company and talked with the manager or owner who told me that his secretary would be calling me to set up an appointment for them to come back and check the vents again. I never heard from anyone after this. We ended up having to clean our house as it was very very dirty from their work. I was very disappointed in the company for not following through. While talking to the manager, he said that he would pay for the cleaning. I told him that we cleaned the house ourselves, and he said he would give us a partial refund which never happened. They apparently outsource to some company called "William Allen Air Ducts and Auto Detail" who not only stepped on and crushed several personal belongings, spent about 23 minutes total here, never touched our return and cleaned 3 vents. Since buying a new house, I felt it was important to get an evaluation on the ducts and dryer especially since my dryer constantly indicated "clean lint" which I did each and every time. I found Forever Vent on Groupon and was hoping the reviews held true. Understandably it took a bit of time for a return call but what I did get was friendly reception, ease in setting up my appointment, and hard working knowledgeable techs . Tyler and Cory arrived on schedule and with a great personal attitude. I was skeptic after the photos of whether deep cleaning was necessary but felt it very important in today's world to ensure house cleanliness and sanitation. They worked hard in getting the job done, were flexible to deep clean that same day and showed me images of the condition of all the ducts. I added the sanitation treatment again, due to our world today and they explained the process thoroughly. I purchased a Groupon for this company knowing that my vents were in need of a good cleaning. Bill and Steve arrived on time. They were both extremely thorough going over my system and pointing out several things like mold. They went a step further and figured out how and why i had mold in my system. I had a clog in my AC condensation line which was causing water to leak and pool and my line wasn't draining properly. Steve went over all my options on correcting the issue. Steven and his partner were very professional, friendly, and courteous. Steven called thirty minutes prior to arrival and explained everything to me as they went. I was not completely happy with the scheduling experience, but this was no fault of the technicians. I was told over the phone that it would be $249 for air duct and dryer vent cleaning, but when they called to confirm and I asked how long the process would take, she said, "You only have one unit, right?" I have two units, and I was then informed that it is $249 per unit. This was not discussed with me when I made the initial appointment. The scheduler may have been new or something because I remember thinking that she did not seem very sure or knowledgable. I decided to just get one unit done but I was told that they would inspect the other unit free of charge, which they did and I appreciated that. He showed me that the upstairs units looked pretty good so there was no need to clean the ducts. My reasoning for scheduling this service was due to a reoccurring cough and allergic reactions that I have been experiencing over the last six months, and suspected it was related to the air ducts downstairs. Steven informed me that we did have mold in both units, it wasn't bad, but showed me the black spots and offered treatment. This didn't surprise me as we had a known air handler leak in the attic prior to moving in to this house. Steven also discovered evidence of a previous leak, but informed me that the people who put in the replacement did a great job cleaning up, and showed me video that he took. When they cleaned out my dryer vent they found that it was clogged, and showed me the amount of debris that they were pulling out. Steven informed me that it is usually an extra charge to unclog the vent, but he would not charge me, which I also greatly appreciated. I decided to proceed with the mold treatment, but it was very costly at $330 per floor. One unit air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, and mold treatment on both units cost me almost $1000 after all was said and done. It would have been nice to have been informed by scheduling what to expect and that additional charges may come up if mold is found. Other than the cost and the scheduling issues, I was very happy with my service and would definitely use them again. They left about an hour ago and my daughter said she feels like she's breathing cleaner air already. :) read more
